shame_n and_o punishment_n but_o in_o god_n a_o cover_n and_o reward_n in_o great_a prince_n court_n no_o mourner_n may_v come_v and_o therefore_o joseph_n must_v put_v off_o his_o prison-garment_n promise_n which_o be_v make_v to_o the_o penitent_a second_o grow_v up_o in_o humility_n every_o day_n be_v more_o low_a in_o thy_o own_o eye_n than_o other_o and_o beware_v of_o pride_n because_o it_o become_v thou_o to_o be_v humble_a for_o the_o more_o contrite_a the_o spirit_n be_v the_o fit_a it_o be_v for_o god_n spirit_n to_o dwell_v in_o three_o use_v earnest_a and_o daily_a prayer_n for_o the_o earnest_n of_o the_o spirit_n to_o witness_v unto_o thy_o spirit_n that_o thou_o be_v the_o child_n of_o god_n for_o he_o be_v the_o comforter_n must_v bring_v these_o comfortable_a tiding_n to_o thy_o heart_n he_o must_v apply_v the_o promise_n of_o life_n and_o salvation_n four_o take_v heed_n of_o actual_a sin_n which_o grieve_v the_o spirit_n and_o be_v as_o water_v to_o i_o say_v to_o the_o lord_n o_o my_o hope_n and_o fortress_n that_o be_v i_o have_v a_o good_a cause_n so_o to_o say_v and_o then_o follow_v sure_o he_o will_v deliver_v thou_o from_o the_o snare_n to_o god_n second_o when_o sorrow_n be_v a_o fruit_n of_o impatience_n or_o 2._o distrust_n or_o join_v with_o murmur_a or_o excess_n or_o any_o other_o sinful_a quality_n as_o some_o godly_a man_n sorrow_n have_v be_v it_o be_v no_o godly_a sorrow_n let_v the_o object_n be_v what_o it_o will_n three_o when_o sorrow_n even_o for_o sin_n bring_v neither_o 3._o glory_n to_o god_n nor_o comfort_n to_o the_o heart_n it_o be_v not_o godly_a sorrow_n for_o that_o do_v both_o but_o here_o be_v a_o sorrow_n in_o david_n which_o do_v neither_o for_o still_o he_o hide_v his_o sin_n and_o it_o be_v not_o yet_o accompany_v with_o so_o much_o as_o confession_n of_o sin_n and_o much_o less_o with_o forsake_v it_o the_o matter_n of_o accusation_n be_v no_o whit_n abate_v four_o that_o sorrow_n which_o proceed_v from_o the_o sight_n 4._o of_o sin_n in_o general_a but_o not_o in_o the_o particular_a can_v be_v godly_a sorrow_n for_o thus_o the_o wicked_a on_o earth_n will_v confess_v sin_n
