towards_o they_o but_o these_o work_v choose_v of_o their_o own_o proper_a will_n be_v nothing_o worth_a at_o all_o neither_o can_v stand_v forasmuch_o as_o they_o proceed_v not_o of_o faith_n yea_o they_o be_v sin_n as_o saint_n paul_n say_v rom._n 14_z whatsoever_o be_v not_o of_o faith_n be_v sin_n these_o our_o work_n therefore_o be_v defile_v and_o unclean_a in_o the_o sight_n of_o god_n also_o do_v lie_v upon_o we_o as_o a_o heavy_a burden_n which_o the_o law_n do_v oft_o time_n make_v great_a &_o great_a death_n go_v about_o to_o devour_v we_o inasmuch_o as_o it_o be_v the_o wage_n of_o sin_n satan_n also_o endeavour_v to_o throw_v we_o down_o headlong_o to_o hell_n inasmuch_o as_o he_o will_v punish_v we_o for_o our_o sin_n commit_v all_o thing_n be_v full_a of_o tremble_v and_o anguish_n god_n take_v pity_n upon_o this_o so_o great_a calamity_n send_v his_o only_o beget_v son_n and_o that_o of_o his_o mere_a grace_n &_o goodness_n without_o our_o desert_n that_o he_o may_v deliver_v we_o out_o of_o so_o great_a tyranny_n which_o he_o mighty_o do_v after_o this_o sort_n he_o satisfy_v the_o law_n satan_n christ_n have_v fulfil_v the_o law_n prevail_v against_o sin_n overcome_v death_n and_o vanquish_a satan_n and_o fulfil_v it_o perfect_o for_o he_o love_v god_n with_o all_o his_o heart_n and_o with_o all_o his_o soul_n &_o with_o all_o his_o strength_n he_o love_v his_o neighbour_n also_o as_o himself_o in_o these_o the_o whole_a law_n and_o the_o prophet_n do_v consist_v now_o whatsoever_o christ_n do_v it_o consist_v in_o these_o two_o he_o love_v death_n the_o devil_n and_o may_v challenge_v to_o myself_o all_o his_o work_n even_o as_o if_o they_o be_v my_o own_o and_o i_o myself_o have_v do_v they_o so_o that_o i_o believe_v in_o christ_n with_o death_n satan_n how_o a_o christian_n may_v notable_o comfort_v himself_o against_o the_o law_n sin_n death_n satan_n satan_n and_o hell_n wherefore_o when_o the_o law_n shall_v come_v and_o accuse_v thou_o that_o thou_o do_v not_o observe_v it_o send_v it_o unto_o christ_n and_o say_v there_o be_v that_o man_n which_o have_v fulfil_v the_o law_n to_o he_o i_o cleave_v he_o have_v fulfil_v it_o for_o i_o and_o have_v give_v his_o fulfil_n unto_o i_o when_o it_o hear_v these_o thing_n it_o will_v be_v quiet_a if_o sin_n come_v and_o will_v have_v thou_o by_o the_o throat_n send_v it_o unto_o christ_n and_o say_v as_o much_o as_o thou_o may_v do_v against_o he_o so_o much_o right_o shall_v thou_o have_v against_o i_o for_o i_o be_o in_o he_o and_o he_o be_v in_o i_o if_o death_n creep_v upon_o thou_o and_o attempt_v to_o devour_v thou_o say_v unto_o it_o good_a mistress_n death_n do_v thou_o know_v this_o man_n come_v and_o bite_v out_o his_o tooth_n have_v thou_o forget_v how_o little_a thy_o bite_v prevayl_v with_o he_o once_o go_v too_o if_o it_o be_v a_o pleasure_n unto_o thou_o encounter_n with_o he_o again_o thou_o have_v persuade_v thyself_o that_o thou_o shall_v have_v prevayl_v somewhat_o against_o he_o when_o he_o do_v hang_v between_o two_o thief_n &_o die_v a_o ignominious_a death_n which_o be_v count_v curse_v both_o before_o god_n and_o the_o world_n but_o what_o do_v thou_o gain_v thereby_o thou_o do_v bite_v in_o deed_n but_o it_o turn_v worst_a to_o thyself_o i_o pertain_v to_o this_o man_n i_o be_o he_o and_o he_o be_v i_o and_o where_o he_o abide_v there_o also_o will_v i_o abide_v thou_o can_v hurt_v he_o nothing_o wherefore_o also_o let_v i_o alone_o after_o the_o same_o sort_n if_o the_o devil_n if_o hell_n come_v violent_o upon_o thou_o and_o trouble_v thou_o send_v they_o unto_o christ_n and_o thou_o shall_v easy_o make_v they_o to_o cease_v and_o thus_o you_o see_v what_o christ_n be_v unto_o we_o christ_n say_v out_o of_o the_o prophet_n osee_n 1_o cor._n 15_o death_n be_v swallow_a up_o into_o victory_n o_o death_n where_o be_v thy_o sting_n o_o hell_n where_o be_v thy_o victory_n the_o sting_n of_o death_n be_v sin_n and_o the_o strength_n of_o sin_n be_v the_o law_n but_o thanks_n be_v unto_o god_n which_o have_v give_v we_o victory_n through_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n christ_n we_o be_v justify_v before_o god_n by_o no_o work_n or_o merit_n of_o our_o own_o but_o only_o by_o the_o work_n of_o christ_n hereof_o we_o may_v easy_o understand_v what_o kind_n of_o work_n those_o be_v which_o do_v make_v we_o entire_a and_o righteous_a before_o god_n sure_o they_o be_v the_o work_n of_o a_o other_o and_o not_o our_o own_o work_n choose_v of_o ourselves_o wherefore_o the_o whole_a papacy_n fall_v here_o with_o all_o the_o most_o precious_a and_o holy_a work_n thereof_o which_o have_v this_o drift_n only_o that_o miserable_a wretched_a and_o blind_v man_n may_v be_v persuade_v that_o they_o obtain_v heaven_n by_o their_o merit_n and_o their_o own_o work_n hereupon_o have_v spring_v so_o many_o order_n that_o they_o can_v not_o almost_o be_v number_v of_o which_o one_o strive_v to_o be_v holy_a than_o a_o other_o according_a as_o they_o exercise_v hard_a great_a and_o weighty_a work_n but_o this_o their_o miserable_a labour_n anguish_n prayer_n fasting_n chastise_v of_o the_o body_n and_o such_o like_a be_v vain_a work_n and_o of_o no_o value_n at_o all_o neither_o have_v they_o so_o much_o power_n that_o they_o be_v able_a to_o take_v away_o so_o much_o as_o even_o the_o least_o sin_n which_o they_o call_v venial_a they_o be_v altogether_o unmindful_a of_o this_o saying_n esay_n 29_o which_o the_o lord_n repete_v matth._n 15_o this_o people_n draw_v never_o unto_o i_o with_o their_o mouth_n &_o honour_v i_o with_o their_o lip_n but_o their_o heart_n be_v far_o of_o from_o i_o but_o in_o vain_a they_o worship_v i_o teach_v such_o doctrine_n as_o merciful_a as_o your_o father_n be_v merciful_a us._n how_o our_o heavenly_a father_n be_v merciful_a towards_o us._n how_o therefore_o be_v our_o heavenly_a father_n merciful_a after_o that_o sort_n that_o he_o give_v we_o all_o good_a thing_n corporal_a and_o spiritual_a transitory_a and_o eternal_a free_o and_o of_o his_o mercy_n for_o if_o he_o shall_v give_v unto_o we_o according_a to_o our_o desert_n he_o shall_v give_v unto_o we_o nothing_o but_o hell_n fire_n and_o eternal_a damnation_n what_o soever_o therefore_o good_a thing_n he_o bestow_v upon_o we_o he_o bestow_v they_o of_o his_o without_o thy_o desert_n and_o of_o mere_a grace_n when_o thou_o be_v as_o yet_o his_o enemy_n and_o the_o child_n of_o everlasting_a malediction_n thy_o heart_n i_o say_v be_v settle_v in_o this_o faith_n thou_o can_v not_o contain_v thyself_o but_o that_o thou_o show_v thyself_o again_o so_o to_o thy_o neighbour_n &_o that_o whole_o for_o the_o love_n of_o god_n and_o for_o thy_o neighbour_n shall_v not_o be_v judge_v condemn_v not_o &_o you_o shall_v not_o be_v condemn_v forgive_v and_o it_o shall_v be_v forgive_v you_o all_o which_o authority_n sound_v so_o that_o
