be_v some_o special_a cause_n and_o reason_n of_o it_o for_o the_o holy_a ghost_n do_v not_o use_v to_o deal_v so_o much_o and_o so_o earnest_o in_o a_o matter_n but_o upon_o great_a cause_n we_o may_v easy_o gather_v what_o the_o cause_n be_v the_o book_n paint_v out_o the_o whore_n of_o babylon_n and_o the_o whole_a kingdom_n of_o the_o great_a antichrist_n together_o with_o all_o satan_n cunning_a and_o fleight_n therein_o and_o for_o this_o cause_n satan_n have_v labour_v especial_o to_o weaken_v the_o credit_n and_o authority_n of_o this_o book_n he_o by_o some_o mean_n in_o old_a time_n prevail_v thus_o far_o that_o even_o among_o some_o church_n of_o true_a christian_n the_o authority_n and_o truth_n of_o it_o be_v doubt_v of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n do_v well_o foresee_v the_o practice_n of_o satan_n and_o therefore_o bring_v the_o more_o reason_n for_o the_o confirmation_n thereof_o if_o the_o credit_n and_o authority_n of_o this_o book_n shall_v never_o have_v be_v impugn_a there_o need_v not_o any_o such_o special_a confirmation_n but_o now_o god_n be_v thank_v there_o be_v no_o question_n or_o controversy_n concern_v the_o authority_n of_o this_o prophecy_n it_o be_v receive_v as_o authentical_a by_o the_o common_a consent_n of_o all_o the_o church_n almost_o all_o the_o ancient_a father_n do_v acknowledge_v it_o to_o be_v canonical_a the_o new_a writer_n do_v with_o one_o voice_n give_v their_o consent_n and_o approbation_n unto_o it_o the_o papist_n themselves_o do_v acknowledge_v it_o to_o be_v the_o sacred_a and_o undoubted_a word_n of_o god_n though_o of_o all_o scripture_n they_o can_v endure_v it_o shall_v be_v meddle_v withal_o

work_v by_o they_o and_o their_o ministry_n as_o a_o artificer_n with_o his_o tool_n in_o his_o right_a hand_n the_o thing_n which_o christ_n have_v do_v by_o these_o instrument_n be_v glorious_a and_o admirable_a for_o by_o the_o ministry_n of_o the_o gospel_n he_o have_v convert_v many_o sinner_n and_o save_v many_o soul_n than_o the_o which_o nothing_o can_v be_v more_o honourable_a and_o wonderful_a and_o therefore_o the_o word_n of_o god_n which_o be_v the_o minister_n weapon_n be_v compare_v to_o a_o sharp_a two_o edge_a sword_n which_o come_v out_o of_o christ_n mouth_n now_o unto_o all_o this_o may_v be_v add_v that_o christ_n say_v he_o be_v dead_a but_o now_o alive_a because_o he_o die_v and_o rise_v again_o and_o also_o that_o he_o say_v he_o have_v the_o key_n of_o to_o open_v and_o shut_v bound_v and_o loose_v and_o therefore_o it_o be_v write_v he_o have_v the_o key_n of_o david_n which_o open_v and_o no_o man_n shut_v and_o shut_v and_o no_o man_n open_v all_o this_o set_v forth_o the_o great_a power_n and_o glory_n of_o christ_n person_n and_o all_o aim_v at_o this_o mark_n and_o end_n to_o commend_v unto_o we_o the_o authority_n of_o this_o book_n humble_v and_o make_v fit_a to_o receive_v this_o revelation_n with_o the_o great_a reverence_n from_o his_o great_a lord_n and_o master_n and_o also_o it_o make_v much_o for_o our_o profit_n as_o church_n and_o to_o take_v part_n with_o she_o against_o her_o enemy_n as_o sometime_o he_o do_v cyrus_n ebedmelech_n nebuzaradan_n gamaliel_n and_o sundry_a other_o who_o power_n and_o policy_n he_o use_v for_o the_o good_a of_o his_o church_n and_o for_o the_o dry_n up_o of_o that_o flood_n of_o reproach_n which_o satan_n have_v in_o all_o age_n cast_v up_o against_o she_o and_o god_n be_v thank_v we_o see_v at_o this_o day_n that_o this_o flood_n of_o slander_n and_o calumny_n which_o papist_n and_o atheist_n cast_v out_o against_o the_o church_n and_o her_o particular_a member_n do_v dry_a up_o daily_o and_o shall_v dry_v up_o more_o and_o more_o be_v drink_v in_o by_o the_o earth_n and_o the_o church_n do_v stand_v still_o unmoveable_a and_o shall_v stand_v and_o continue_v even_o unto_o the_o end_n of_o the_o world_n then_o the_o dragon_n be_v wroth_a with_o the_o woman_n 17._o verse_n 17._o and_o go_v and_o make_v war_n with_o the_o remnant_n of_o her_o seed_n which_o
