any_o thing_n neither_o shall_v we_o so_o hearty_o love_v any_o creature_n as_o our_o lord_n god_n omnipotent_a for_o if_o we_o attribute_v to_o any_o creature_n so_o much_o fear_n trust_v love_v as_o appertain_v only_o to_o he_o that_o make_v all_o creature_n by_o and_o by_o we_o make_v that_o creature_n our_o god_n â–ª_o and_o of_o it_o we_o frame_v to_o ourselves_o a_o idol_n the_o which_o be_v a_o very_a heinous_a a_o abominable_a &_o horrible_a sin_n direct_o against_o the_o first_o table_n and_o the_o first_o and_o chief_a commandment_n of_o god_n therefore_o such_o great_a offence_n the_o true_a and_o lyvinge_a lord_n god_n will_v not_o leave_v unpunished_a for_o he_o himself_o say_v i_o be_o the_o lord_n my_o title_n &_o my_o name_n be_v the_o lord_n i_o will_v not_o gyve_v my_o glory_n to_o another_o meaning_n thereby_o that_o he_o will_v not_o suffer_v that_o any_o other_o thing_n shall_v be_v esteem_v as_o god_n besides_o himself_o or_o that_o we_o shall_v gyve_v godly_a honour_n in_o heart_n affection_n word_n or_o deed_n to_o any_o creature_n but_o only_o to_o he_o that_o be_v never_o create_v and_o yet_o do_v create_v all_o thing_n but_o here_o peradventure_o you_o will_v muse_v good_a child_n ask_v this_o question_n how_o can_v we_o have_v other_o god_n before_o the_o lord_n see_v there_o be_v but_o one_o god_n one_o lord_n which_o have_v make_v heaven_n and_o earth_n to_o this_o i_o answer_v that_o in_o deed_n there_o be_v none_o other_o god_n but_o that_o most_o excellent_a and_o omnipotent_a lord_n ley_n sure_o hold_v on_o this_o article_n w_o t_o a_o scotfree_a or_o noble_a which_o be_v not_o so_o in_o deed_n so_o oftentimes_o we_o fear_v something_o asmuch_o as_o we_o do_v god_n which_o be_v not_o god_n in_o deed_n and_o of_o creature_n we_o make_v god_n three_o manner_n of_o way_n the_o first_o be_v when_o a_o man_n fear_v any_o creature_n and_o thynk_v thus_o with_o himself_o if_o such_o a_o thing_n be_v take_v away_o from_o i_o if_o such_o a_o great_a man_n be_v angry_a with_o i_o if_o i_o escape_v not_o such_o a_o daungier_n then_o i_o be_o utter_o undo_v than_o i_o know_v not_o whither_o to_o run_v for_o aid_n and_o succour_n whether_o then_o shall_v i_o go_v who_o shall_v save_v or_o help_v i_o if_o thou_o have_v any_o such_o thought_n of_o any_o creature_n true_o in_o thy_o heart_n thou_o make_v it_o a_o god_n although_o with_o thy_o mouth_n thou_o do_v not_o call_v it_o god_n and_o this_o affection_n lie_v lurk_v so_o deap_o hide_v within_o many_o man_n heart_n that_o they_o theimselfe_n scaselye_o feel_v or_o sore_o although_o i_o see_v nothing_o before_o my_o eye_n but_o present_a death_n or_o danger_n yet_o will_v i_o not_o despair_v yet_o will_v i_o not_o mistrust_v god_n yet_o will_v i_o not_o hurt_v of_o a_o creature_n which_o in_o deed_n be_v no_o god_n but_o rather_o a_o idol_n set_v up_o by_o our_o own_fw-mi fantasy_n but_o this_o be_v a_o horrible_a sin_n against_o the_o first_o commandment_n of_o god_n and_o so_o much_o the_o more_o parrellous_a because_o it_o lurk_v in_o the_o corner_n of_o man_n hart_n most_o secret_o the_o world_n be_v full_a of_o this_o sin_n and_o special_o they_o that_o have_v hypocrite_n heart_n for_o all_o their_o paint_a holiness_n be_v infect_v with_o the_o rustenes_n of_o these_o vice_n and_o to_o intent_n that_o you_o may_v the_o better_o know_v these_o will_v begin_v no_o new_a enterprise_n because_o they_o think_v you_o to_o it_o shall_v not_o have_v good_a success_n or_o prosperous_a end_n and_o many_o like_a kynde_n of_o ydolatrye_a be_v use_v even_o among_o christian_a people_n but_o y_o e_o prophet_n hieremie_n do_v express_o forbid_v this_o in_o the_o ten_o chapter_n sa_v fear_v not_o the_o sign_n of_o the_o sky_n as_o the_o hethen_n
