without_o hope_n to_o bring_v you_o to_o repentance_n which_o may_v gain_v you_o pardon_v for_o your_o sin_n but_o as_o we_o have_v the_o commandment_n of_o god_n to_o warrant_v and_o comfort_v we_o herein_o that_o the_o malefactor_n must_v die_v so_o we_o hearty_o desire_v of_o god_n that_o your_o condemnation_n may_v not_o be_v of_o death_n unto_o death_n but_o rather_o a_o mean_n to_o a_o better_a life_n now_o in_o these_o case_n three_o thing_n best_o befit_v a_o judge_n which_o be_v discretion_n correction_n and_o comfort_n 1_o discretion_n to_o make_v a_o offender_n know_v his_o fault_n 2_o correction_n to_o pronounce_v and_o inflict_v the_o punishment_n 3._o comfort_n that_o notwithstanding_o the_o denounce_v and_o inflict_v of_o the_o punishment_n yet_o so_o to_o prepare_v the_o delinquent_n unto_o death_n that_o he_o may_v find_v life_n in_o death_n and_o so_o see_v heaven_n upon_o earth_n before_o the_o world_n leave_v he_o and_o he_o the_o world_n concern_v the_o another_o be_v thereby_o bring_v to_o a_o acknowledgement_n of_o his_o own_o sin_n and_o so_o receive_v a_o gracious_a acquittance_n so_o you_o also_o be_v now_o convict_v of_o your_o heavy_a and_o bloody_a fact_n by_o such_o apparent_a evidence_n may_v by_o david_n example_n be_v bring_v to_o a_o acknowledgement_n thereof_o and_o so_o with_o david_n obtain_v a_o answer_n of_o the_o pardon_n of_o your_o sin_n howsoever_o for_o the_o satisfy_n of_o the_o world_n and_o humble_v of_o the_o flesh_n you_o be_v like_a with_o david_n to_o answer_v blood_n for_o blood_n the_o second_o thing_n i_o note_v be_v correction_n but_o the_o better_a to_o prepare_v you_o for_o it_o tell_v i_o you_o poor_a soul_n that_o have_v have_v a_o great_a portion_n of_o sorrow_n by_o your_o imprisonment_n if_o these_o three_o thing_n do_v not_o now_o trouble_v you_o more_o than_o ever_o before_o that_o be_v sorrow_n shame_n and_o fear_n 1_o sorrow_n for_o your_o life_n past_o so_o wicked_o miss_v 2_o shame_n for_o your_o present_a fact_n 3_o fear_v not_o so_o much_o of_o your_o present_a punishment_n which_o end_v in_o the_o punishment_n as_o of_o the_o judgement_n to_o come_v bring_v with_o it_o eternal_a torment_n and_o yet_o begin_v but_o where_o the_o other_o end_n to_o begin_v with_o this_o last_o because_o if_o it_o have_v be_v well_o remember_v by_o you_o it_o may_v have_v prevent_v the_o former_a and_o yet_o be_v well_o apply_v may_v release_v you_o from_o the_o latter_a that_o you_o may_v take_v a_o deep_a impression_n of_o that_o great_a and_o general_a assize_n be_v you_o advise_v not_o so_o much_o to_o look_v upon_o we_o who_o have_v only_o power_n to_o kill_v the_o body_n as_o to_o look_v up_o unto_o the_o lord_n who_o have_v power_n to_o destroy_v both_o body_n and_o soul_n and_o remember_v his_o last_o and_o dreadful_a come_n in_o the_o cloud_n where_o each_o of_o you_o must_v appear_v personal_o without_o deputy_n delay_n or_o advocate_n to_o receive_v according_a to_o your_o work_n which_o you_o have_v do_v in_o your_o body_n be_v they_o good_a or_o evil_n and_o that_o you_o may_v prevent_v the_o extremity_n of_o that_o judgement_n my_o advice_n unto_o you_o be_v that_o you_o will_v erectin_n a_o judgement_n seat_n your_o own_o soul_n judge_v yourselves_o by_o the_o evidence_n of_o your_o own_o conscience_n that_o so_o you_o may_v not_o be_v judge_v of_o the_o lord_n so_o do_v david_n obtain_v the_o pardon_n of_o his_o sin_n he_o have_v no_o soon_o judge_v himself_o for_o his_o sin_n and_o confess_v they_o unto_o the_o lord_n but_o the_o lord_n forgive_v he_o the_o iniquity_n of_o they_o all_o and_o no_o soon_o shall_v you_o acknowledge_v yourselves_o worthy_a to_o die_v but_o the_o lord_n will_v answer_v you_o you_o shall_v not_o die_v but_o live_v for_o if_o you_o be_v now_o dead_a in_o sin_n by_o harden_v your_o heart_n in_o the_o denial_n thereof_o though_o you_o be_v live_v to_o the_o world_n yet_o you_o be_v dead_a unto_o
