people_n that_o the_o canaanite_n be_v possessor_n of_o canaan_n beyond_o jordan_n all_o his_o time_n which_o none_o of_o they_o can_v be_v ignorant_a of_o but_o he_o write_v it_o to_o make_v the_o common_a ignorant_a people_n know_v that_o the_o canaanite_n have_v be_v possessor_n of_o that_o land_n even_o in_o the_o time_n of_o abraham_n and_o that_o their_o father_n abraham_n be_v but_o a_o stranger_n in_o it_o and_o have_v not_o at_o his_o first_o come_v so_o much_o as_o a_o foot_n of_o ground_n in_o it_o that_o he_o can_v call_v his_o own_o act_n 7._o 5._o and_o that_o it_o be_v of_o those_o canaanite_n that_o he_o afterward_o buy_v the_o buryingplace_n at_o hebron_n or_o kirjatharba_n now_o this_o be_v a_o truth_n though_o most_o certain_a yet_o not_o so_o evident_a but_o that_o many_o of_o the_o common_a people_n may_v possible_o be_v ignorant_a of_o it_o and_o therefore_o moses_n write_v this_o history_n for_o the_o benefit_n of_o the_o common_a people_n he_o may_v put_v in_o this_o passage_n once_o and_o again_o that_o they_o may_v take_v special_a notice_n of_o it_o and_o thereby_o know_v with_o what_o people_n it_o be_v that_o abraham_n live_v after_o he_o have_v leave_v his_o own_o country_n and_o father_n house_n even_o with_o the_o ancestor_n of_o those_o canaanite_n who_o they_o be_v now_o to_o destroy_v and_o drive_v out_o of_o that_o land_n and_o likewise_o that_o they_o may_v thereby_o be_v move_v to_o admire_v the_o faithfulness_n and_o goodness_n of_o god_n towards_o they_o in_o that_o he_o be_v then_o put_v they_o in_o actual_a
