how_o much_o that_o man_n be_v acceptable_a to_o god_n who_o be_v diligent_a to_o go_v forward_o in_o his_o divine_a service_n chap._n i._n it_o be_v a_o thing_n most_o certain_a that_o a_o just_a and_o virtuous_a man_n who_o be_v in_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n in_o whatsoever_o degree_n of_o grace_n that_o he_o be_v be_v most_o acceptable_a to_o the_o eye_n of_o his_o divine_a majesty_n but_o if_o we_o do_v compare_v those_o that_o serve_v god_n one_o with_o another_o it_o be_v also_o manifest_a that_o he_o who_o be_v diligent_a and_o fervent_a in_o god_n service_n and_o do_v labour_n to_o profit_v daily_o more_o &_o more_o in_o the_o same_o force_v himself_o to_o do_v that_o which_o he_o know_v to_o be_v most_o grateful_a to_o god_n be_v by_o he_o more_o esteem_v and_o account_v of_o than_o many_o other_o who_o although_a they_o live_v in_o his_o grace_n have_v no_o care_n of_o their_o go_v forward_o but_o be_v content_a with_o this_o only_a that_o they_o do_v not_o commit_v any_o mortal_a sin_n we_o shall_v understand_v this_o better_a by_o the_o example_n follow_v 2._o let_v we_o imagine_v that_o a_o certain_a noble_a man_n have_v in_o his_o house_n fifty_o servant_n and_o have_v command_v they_o all_o that_o they_o steal_v and_o fall_v out_o at_o word_n &_o although_o they_o do_v some_o thing_n of_o those_o that_o be_v command_v yet_o other_o they_o will_v not_o do_v 4._o the_o other_o servant_n desirous_a to_o please_v and_o content_v his_o master_n in_o every_o thing_n and_o not_o to_o give_v he_o any_o trouble_n or_o disgust_v at_o all_o do_v not_o steal_v any_o thing_n out_o of_o his_o house_n be_v it_o never_o so_o little_a be_v not_o so_o hardy_a as_o to_o tell_v he_o the_o least_o untruth_n go_v with_o great_a speed_n in_o whatsoever_o message_n he_o be_v send_v and_o if_o perchance_o he_o linger_v somewhat_o through_o forgetfulness_n remember_v himself_o he_o be_v sorry_a for_o it_o and_o do_v amend_v it_o neither_o be_v he_o only_o careful_a to_o do_v whatsoever_o his_o master_n have_v command_v thereby_o not_o to_o discontent_n nor_o displease_v he_o but_o he_o do_v also_o endeavour_v to_o know_v such_o thing_n as_o most_o contentment_n 5._o by_o this_o example_n it_o be_v manifest_a that_o this_o noble_a man_n govern_v by_o right_a indgment_n and_o reason_n do_v more_o esteem_v this_o one_o only_a servant_n they_o all_o the_o other_o forty_o and_o nine_o and_o that_o this_o one_o alone_o do_v give_v he_o more_o gust_n and_o contentment_n than_o all_o the_o rest_n and_o that_o in_o thing_n depend_v of_o his_o good_a will_n and_o favour_n he_o will_v do_v more_o for_o respect_n and_o love_n of_o this_o one_o then_o of_o all_o the_o other_o see_v then_o that_o all_o right_a reason_n be_v to_o be_v find_v
