pleasure_n the_o world_n afford_v and_o his_o sad_a heart_n turn_v all_o into_o death_n his_o conscience_n continual_o afflict_v he_o terror_n and_o fear_n and_o eternal_a torment_n be_v ever_o in_o his_o thought_n and_o such_o a_o wound_a spirit_n who_o can_v bear_v my_o belove_a i_o will_v not_o be_v mistake_v in_o what_o i_o have_v say_v of_o this_o woeful_a condition_n as_o though_o i_o present_v it_o to_o your_o thought_n as_o a_o mean_n to_o terrify_v you_o from_o any_o your_o sinful_a course_n i_o know_v full_a well_o it_o be_v not_o the_o way_n it_o be_v not_o god_n way_n nor_o do_v i_o wish_v this_o sad_a condition_n to_o be_v any_o of_o you_o though_o happy_o it_o may_v be_v thus_o with_o many_o of_o you_o many_o of_o you_o may_v through_o sense_n of_o sin_n and_o of_o wrath_n due_a for_o sin_n walk_v in_o a_o very_a disconsolate_a condition_n fear_n and_o terror_n may_v abound_v in_o you_o to_o who_o i_o doubt_v not_o though_o great_a heaviness_n may_v endure_v for_o a_o night_n yet_o great_a joy_n shall_v come_v in_o the_o morning_n which_o as_o much_o as_o in_o i_o lie_v i_o shall_v endeavour_v to_o produce_v in_o every_o one_o of_o you_o i_o have_v present_v this_o woeful_a condition_n of_o all_o mankind_n under_o the_o law_n thus_o sad_o and_o true_o because_o i_o find_v general_o man_n do_v not_o serious_o consider_v the_o bottomless_a depth_n of_o the_o misery_n from_o the_o which_o they_o be_v redeem_v i_o be_o not_o a_o preacher_n of_o the_o law_n but_o of_o the_o gospel_n nor_o be_v you_o under_o the_o law_n but_o under_o grace_n the_o delusive_a doctrine_n to_o say_v that_o god_n pass_v by_o our_o daily_a infirmity_n accept_v our_o will_n for_o our_o performance_n our_o desire_n to_o be_v obedient_a to_o his_o commandment_n for_o obedience_n for_o where_o there_o be_v the_o least_o defect_n god_n hate_v for_o that_o very_a defect_n and_o love_v not_o but_o where_o there_o be_v perfect_a holiness_n and_o righteousness_n which_o make_v this_o truth_n appear_v that_o by_o the_o deed_n of_o the_o law_n shall_v no_o flesh_n be_v justify_v in_o his_o sight_n for_o by_o the_o law_n be_v the_o knowledge_n of_o sin_n it_o be_v a_o sad_a favour_n that_o the_o law_n ever_o do_v unto_o mankind_n to_o make_v his_o sin_n appear_v out_o of_o measure_n sinful_a stop_v every_o man_n mouth_n admit_v no_o plea_n or_o excuse_n on_o man_n behalf_n and_o yet_o it_o be_v so_o natural_a to_o think_v that_o he_o be_v still_o bind_v to_o do_v something_o for_o obtain_v the_o love_n and_o favour_n of_o god_n that_o you_o will_v find_v it_o be_v the_o hard_a thing_n in_o the_o world_n to_o free_v yourselves_o from_o it_o though_o it_o be_v the_o gross_a antichristian_a error_n that_o ever_o be_v for_o if_o righteousness_n come_v by_o the_o law_n than_o christ_n die_v in_o vain_a it_o it_o such_o a_o error_n that_o until_o it_o be_v remove_v out_o of_o your_o mind_n it_o will_v be_v but_o labour_n lose_v to_o endeavour_v to_o work_v any_o truth_n upon_o your_o mind_n and_o i_o have_v much_o cause_n to_o fear_v your_o mind_n be_v taint_v therewith_o because_o our_o public_a catechism_n book_n and_o sermon_n be_v for_o the_o most_o part_n corrupt_v therewith_o so_o as_o we_o suck_v this_o error_n in_o even_o with_o our_o very_a milk_n and_o it_o become_v one_o substance_n with_o many_o of_o we_o even_o to_o our_o old_a age_n it_o be_v so_o in_o the_o apostle_n time_n as_o may_v be_v see_v in_o act_n the_o 15_o from_o the_o 5._o verse_n to_o the_o end_n of_o the_o chapter_n where_o you_o shall_v find_v that_o some_o that_o be_v in_o jesus_n christ_n your_o fear_n nor_o sin_n nor_o doubt_n can_v alter_v that_o condition_n which_o christ_n have_v purchase_v for_o you_o for_o though_o the_o sting_n of_o death_n be_v sin_n &_o the_o strength_n of_o sin_n be_v the_o law_n yet_o thanks_n be_v unto_o god_n for_o he_o have_v give_v we_o the_o victory_n through_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n so_o as_o you_o may_v all_o bold_o say_v oh_o death_n where_o be_v thy_o sting_n o_o grave_n where_o be_v thy_o victory_n and_o that_o none_o of_o you_o may_v doubt_v of_o his_o exceed_a love_n and_o your_o perfect_a
