as_o to_o the_o reality_n of_o the_o future_a state_n of_o felicity_n and_o also_o of_o the_o assurance_n that_o he_o have_v attain_v of_o his_o personal_a and_o particular_a interest_n in_o that_o state_n as_o you_o read_v 2_o cor._n 5._o 1._o for_o we_o know_v that_o if_o our_o earthly_a house_n of_o this_o tabernacle_n be_v dissolve_v we_o have_v a_o build_n of_o god_n a_o house_n not_o make_v with_o hand_n eternal_a in_o the_o heaven_n the_o consideration_n of_o which_o together_o with_o the_o present_a inconvenience_n that_o do_v attend_v their_o present_a habitation_n here_o below_o make_v they_o give_v many_o a_o long_a look_n and_o fetch_v many_o a_o heavy_a groan_n to_o be_v go_v and_o no_o wonder_n which_o of_o you_o that_o dwell_v in_o a_o pitiful_a poor_a mean_a totter_a cottage_n that_o know_v not_o but_o every_o day_n it_o may_v drop_v about_o your_o ear_n that_o be_v sure_a that_o you_o have_v a_o palace_n rich_o furnish_v for_o you_o that_o stand_v ready_a to_o receive_v you_o will_v not_o do_v the_o like_a indeed_o if_o you_o have_v make_v no_o such_o provision_n but_o may_v expect_v when_o ever_o you_o be_v turn_v out_o you_o must_v lie_v abroad_o expose_v to_o storm_n and_o tempest_n no_o wonder_n then_o if_o you_o notwithstanding_o inconvenience_n be_v loath_a to_o depart_v true_o the_o case_n be_v much_o thus_o betwixt_o sinner_n and_o saint_n no_o wonder_n you_o that_o be_v yet_o in_o a_o state_n of_o alienation_n from_o god_n that_o will_v never_o be_v persuade_v to_o look_v after_o any_o further_o nor_o high_a happiness_n be_o weary_a of_o it_o my_o heart_n be_v ready_a to_o break_v because_o i_o may_v not_o go_v home_o to_o my_o father_n oh_o to_o have_v such_o a_o sense_n of_o the_o love_n of_o god_n and_o then_o be_v put_v back_o again_o i_o can_v bear_v it_o i_o be_o sure_a i_o shall_v go_v to_o heaven_n i_o wish_v that_o i_o may_v go_v quick_o i_o shall_v never_o enjoy_v myself_o till_o i_o be_o there_o one_o ask_v she_o whether_o if_o she_o may_v recover_v she_o can_v be_v willing_a to_o return_v again_o into_o this_o world_n and_o she_o answer_v with_o some_o vehemency_n no._n yet_o notwithstanding_o all_o this_o she_o be_v not_o irregular_o impatient_a to_o be_v go_v as_o appear_v by_o that_o passage_n the_o lord_n look_v upon_o i_o and_o enable_v i_o to_o wait_v his_o time_n she_o mingle_v the_o praise_n of_o god_n with_o her_o prayer_n to_o he_o and_o be_v hear_v sometime_o to_o utter_v those_o word_n grace_n grace_n she_o give_v very_o serious_a counsel_n to_o those_o that_o come_v to_o see_v she_o and_o stand_v about_o she_o she_o speak_v to_o her_o brother_n and_o sister_n in_o a_o way_n suitable_a to_o their_o capacity_n and_o among_o other_o thing_n strict_o caution_v they_o against_o the_o sin_n of_o lie_v and_o advise_v they_o to_o be_v very_o dutiful_a and_o good_a child_n to_o their_o father_n and_o mother_n and_o to_o love_v as_o brethren_n and_o sister_n take_v her_o leave_n of_o one_o who_o she_o bless_a god_n for_o as_o a_o instrument_n of_o bring_v she_o to_o the_o knowledge_n of_o god_n in_o her_o tender_a year_n she_o say_v i_o be_o go_v from_o you_o now_o but_o hope_v to_o meet_v you_o again_o hereafter_o in_o heaven_n and_o to_o the_o same_o purpose_n she_o speak_v to_o some_o other_o of_o who_o good_a estate_n she_o be_v persuade_v to_o another_o she_o say_v be_v sure_a above_o all_o thing_n to_o get_v a_o interest_n in_o christ_n for_o this_o be_v all_o which_o we_o have_v to_o do_v in_o this_o world._n she_o counsel_v and_o entreat_v all_o to_o walk_v as_o become_v the_o gospel_n that_o they_o may_v not_o dishonour_v god_n nor_o provoke_v he_o to_o take_v the_o gospel_n from_o they_o her_o mother_n ask_v she_o what_o she_o have_v to_o say_v to_o she_o she_o answer_v i_o pray_v god_n to_o support_v you_o and_o i_o hope_v he_o will_v be_v your_o everlasting_a support_n she_o have_v always_o carry_v herself_o so_o well_o towards_o her_o parent_n that_o she_o be_v able_a with_o a_o good_a conscience_n to_o tell_v her_o father_n in_o this_o sickness_n that_o she_o have_v never_o wilful_o offend_v he_o in_o her_o whole_a life_n she_o be_v very_o conscientious_a in_o observe_v of_o the_o lord_n day_n and_o those_o part_n of_o it_o which_o be_v not_o take_v up_o in_o public_a or_o in_o family-worship_n she_o spend_v in_o she_o own_o private_a retirement_n the_o fruit_n whereof_o abundant_o appear_v she_o have_v make_v her_o bible_n her_o daily_a delightful_a companion_n for_o such_o a_o considerable_a time_n and_o profit_v so_o much_o in_o it_o that_o she_o can_v recite_v
themselves_o the_o expectation_n of_o the_o promise_a reward_n in_o the_o other_o world_n at_o their_o death_n or_o day_n of_o retribution_n this_o be_v a_o plain_a and_o undoubted_a truth_n no_o reparation_n of_o his_o father_n glory_n eclipse_v by_o man_n rebellion_n and_o apostasy_n and_o the_o redemption_n and_o salvation_n of_o all_o the_o elect_a depend_v upon_o christ_n finish_v this_o work_n and_o a_o work_n to_o be_v do_v within_o a_o limit_a time_n as_o may_v be_v infer_v from_o what_o our_o saviour_n speak_v i_o must_v work_v the_o work_n of_o he_o that_o send_v i_o while_o 4._o upon_o his_o faithful_a discharge_n of_o this_o great_a work_n a_o glorious_a reward_n be_v insure_v to_o christ_n and_o you_o may_v observe_v that_o though_o the_o work_n he_o be_v engage_v in_o be_v difficult_a and_o hard_a too_o difficult_a for_o all_o the_o angel_n in_o heaven_n or_o creature_n on_o earth_n to_o undertake_v in_o the_o do_n of_o which_o he_o meet_v with_o inexpressible_a discouragement_n and_o opposition_n both_o from_o friend_n and_o enemy_n and_o the_o reward_n he_o expect_v be_v a_o high_a and_o glorious_a reward_n such_o a_o massy_a crown_n as_o can_v fit_v no_o head_n but_o christ_n which_o may_v well_o put_v he_o upon_o earnest_a longing_n for_o it_o as_o you_o see_v he_o do_v by_o what_o the_o apostle_n tell_v we_o heb._n 12._o 2._o speak_v of_o this_o of_o the_o other_o the_o beauty_n and_o brightness_n of_o his_o reward_n do_v put_v he_o upon_o desire_v or_o expect_v the_o possession_n of_o his_o promise_a glory_n till_o he_o can_v say_v he_o
