but_o how_o know_v thou_o o_o young_a man_n that_o thou_o shall_v live_v till_o old_a age_n death_n be_v a_o tribute_n we_o all_o owe_v to_o nature_n and_o experience_n teach_v we_o that_o the_o young_a man_n be_v as_o sudden_o take_v away_o as_o the_o grey_a head_n the_o strong_a man_n can_v call_v no_o time_n his_o own_o but_o the_o present_a he_o can_v prolong_v his_o day_n as_o he_o please_v all_o his_o futurity_n be_v in_o the_o hand_n of_o god_n and_o how_o he_o will_v dispose_v of_o he_o whether_o for_o life_n or_o death_n he_o can_v tell_v and_o yet_o alas_o how_o secure_o do_v such_o man_n live_v how_o eager_o do_v they_o run_v through_o all_o the_o stage_n of_o their_o youth_n in_o a_o rebellious_a obstinate_a course_n and_o commit_v sin_n as_o if_o they_o be_v not_o flesh_n and_o blood_n subject_a to_o a_o die_a stroke_n certain_o nothing_o have_v make_v more_o ample_a harvest_n for_o the_o devil_n than_o the_o deserring_n of_o repentance_n upon_o such_o a_o vain_a consideration_n as_o this_o for_o how_o often_o have_v many_o man_n lie_v down_o in_o their_o strength_n at_o night_n and_o that_o night_n have_v close_v their_o eye_n and_o send_v their_o soul_n into_o another_o world_n to_o answer_v for_o what_o they_o have_v do_v in_o this_o but_o suppose_v god_n out_o of_o his_o unconceivable_a mercy_n do_v not_o cut_v off_o a_o sinner_n in_o the_o strength_n of_o his_o year_n suppose_v he_o let_v he_o alone_o to_o live_v as_o he_o list_v to_o walk_v in_o the_o way_n of_o his_o heart_n and_o in_o the_o sight_n of_o his_o eye_n and_o therefore_o be_v resolve_v to_o sin_n on_o till_o old_a age_n overtake_v he_o yet_o i_o have_v three_o argument_n to_o lay_v down_o before_o he_o which_o if_o right_o consider_v will_v make_v he_o think_v and_o bring_v he_o to_o a_o right_a understanding_n of_o himself_o first_o repentance_n require_v the_o strength_n and_o vigour_n of_o our_o mind_n and_o therefore_o it_o be_v a_o sad_a design_n to_o lay_v all_o the_o sin_n of_o our_o youth_n upon_o feeble_a old_a age_n our_o body_n be_v then_o decay_v our_o limb_n feeble_a our_o understanding_n shatter_v all_o the_o part_n distemper_v and_o our_o infirmity_n so_o many_o that_o we_o be_v altogether_o incapable_a of_o every_o thing_n but_o die_v in_o the_o midst_n of_o so_o many_o distemper_n as_o old_a age_n bring_v along_o with_o it_o it_o will_v be_v a_o difficult_a matter_n to_o go_v through_o with_o repentance_n for_o than_o pain_n be_v apt_a in_o a_o high_a measure_n to_o seize_v upon_o we_o which_o will_v so_o disturb_v our_o mind_n and_o deprive_v we_o of_o the_o use_n of_o reason_n that_o we_o can_v pray_v to_o god_n with_o that_o fervency_n or_o spread_v our_o fin_n before_o he_o with_o that_o hearty_a sorrow_n that_o be_v requisite_a to_o procure_v a_o absolute_a pardon_n old_a age_n be_v a_o unfit_a time_n to_o have_v the_o great_a work_n of_o repentance_n to_o do_v and_o therefore_o my_o second_o argument_n to_o show_v the_o danger_n and_o unreasonableness_n of_o put_v it_o off_o till_o that_o time_n be_v this_o second_o the_o little_a hope_n they_o can_v have_v that_o god_n shall_v be_v please_v with_o
