of_o our_o destruction_n but_o write_v in_o their_o own_o wicked_a and_o treacherous_a heart_n and_o therefore_o i_o may_v say_v unto_o such_o a_o prophet_n as_o nehemiah_n unto_o sanballat_n neh._n 6.8_o it_o be_v not_o do_v say_v he_o it_o shall_v not_o be_v do_v say_v i_o according_o to_o these_o word_n that_o thou_o say_v for_o thou_o fain_o they_o of_o thy_o own_o heart_n thy_o prophecy_n sorrow_n and_o fear_n as_o you_o shall_v perceive_v anon_o when_o i_o come_v unto_o the_o three_o part_n of_o my_o sermon_n where_o i_o be_o to_o treat_v direct_o of_o this_o point_n therefore_o i_o come_v now_o unto_o a_o second_o exposition_n which_o seem_v to_o be_v ingenious_a but_o be_v not_o substantial_a namely_o that_o rome_n have_v a_o double_a fall_n the_o one_o in_o respect_n of_o god_n truth_n and_o grace_n wherein_o she_o sometime_o stand_v and_o from_o whence_o she_o be_v long_o since_o fall_v but_o though_o she_o be_v so_o fall_v yet_o this_o fall_n be_v include_v in_o understand_v for_o that_o as_o i_o say_v before_o the_o angel_n speak_v here_o of_o the_o punishment_n &_o not_o of_o the_o sin_n of_o rome_n and_o so_o this_o second_o fall_n ensue_v upon_o the_o first_o for_o because_o she_o be_v babylon_n fall_v from_o god_n truth_n she_o shall_v therefore_o have_v another_o fall_n express_v here_o by_o repetition_n and_o perish_v by_o god_n judgement_n three_o then_o this_o fall_n be_v here_o repeat_v to_o show_v the_o certainty_n of_o the_o event_n as_o write_v in_o the_o book_n of_o god_n immutable_a decree_n pharaoh_n have_v two_o dream_n which_o differ_v in_o form_n and_o resemblance_n but_o agree_v and_o be_v one_o in_o the_o sense_n thereof_o and_o purpose_n of_o god_n gen._n 41.32_o etc._n etc._n the_o ruin_n of_o rome_n be_v here_o express_v by_o one_o word_n twice_o utter_v but_o with_o the_o same_o meaning_n and_o the_o same_o intention_n that_o as_o the_o dream_n be_v double_v unto_o pharaoh_n because_o the_o thing_n be_v establish_v by_o god_n so_o the_o subversion_n of_o rome_n be_v inculcate_v here_o in_o my_o text_n unto_o we_o because_o this_o thing_n be_v establish_v by_o god_n and_o shall_v be_v perform_v infallible_o in_o the_o due_a and_o appoint_a time_n therefore_o as_o before_o her_o fall_n be_v notify_v in_o the_o preterperfect_a tense_n she_o be_v fall_v so_o hear_v it_o be_v ratify_v in_o the_o duplication_n of_o the_o same_o word_n it_o be_v fall_v it_o be_v fall_v for_o who_o can_v reasonable_o and_o probable_o conceive_v according_a to_o the_o evidence_n and_o appearance_n of_o thing_n in_o that_o time_n or_o long_o after_o that_o rome_n so_o glorious_a in_o the_o empire_n so_o venerable_a in_o the_o church_n so_o potent_a in_o kingdom_n so_o rich_a in_o estate_n so_o renown_v in_o fame_n shall_v come_v to_o this_o despicable_a and_o deplorable_a end_n thank_n therefore_o be_v unto_o our_o god_n who_o as_o he_o can_v and_o will_v humble_v her_o pride_n abase_v her_o glory_n break_v her_o power_n dissolve_v her_o strength_n and_o defeat_v her_o policy_n to_o her_o confusion_n and_o the_o honour_n of_o his_o name_n so_o he_o have_v now_o so_o clear_o reveal_v and_o so_o certain_o assure_v this_o truth_n and_o the_o certainty_n thereof_o unto_o we_o for_o our_o comfort_n that_o now_o we_o envy_v not_o her_o greatness_n because_o we_o know_v she_o fall_v we_o fear_v not_o her_o malice_n because_o we_o see_v her_o misery_n we_o regard_v not_o the_o insolent_a venditation_n of_o her_o suppose_a eternity_n because_o we_o perceive_v the_o doleful_a expiration_n of_o her_o estate_n but_o here_o by_o the_o way_n we_o may_v observe_v to_o our_o admiration_n that_o many_o babylonian_n shall_v not_o yet_o discern_v and_o fear_v this_o extreme_a vastation_n so_o certain_o to_o fall_v upon_o that_o miserable_a city_n so_o constant_o pronounce_v so_o vehement_o reiterated_a by_o the_o angel_n unto_o saint_n john_n and_o that_o be_v simple_o gull_v with_o the_o
