honour_n and_o worship_n of_o that_o god_n who_o they_o pretend_v to_o fear_v and_o then_o they_o leave_v you_o this_o they_o begin_v to_o doubt_v whether_o it_o may_v be_v any_o part_n of_o their_o duty_n or_o no_o but_o however_o the_o soul_n of_o the_o old_a and_o outward_a man_n may_v be_v immortal_a though_o sever_v from_o the_o body_n yet_o be_v it_o not_o so_o with_o the_o new_a man_n sever_v the_o fear_n of_o god_n from_o the_o observance_n of_o his_o commandment_n and_o it_o will_v instant_o cease_v to_o be_v fear_n as_o st._n john_n of_o love_n so_o may_v we_o say_v of_o this_o fear_n that_o include_v it_o he_o that_o say_v he_o fear_v god_n and_o keep_v not_o his_o commandment_n be_v a_o liar_n again_o observe_v the_o commandment_n but_o not_o in_o the_o true_a fear_n of_o god_n and_o it_o will_v be_v not_o observance_n but_o dissimulation_n a_o liar_n this_o of_o all_o liar_n who_o hypocrisy_n can_v make_v the_o very_a spirit_n of_o wickedness_n to_o inform_v and_o actuate_v the_o comely_a limb_n and_o member_n of_o true_a holiness_n a_o prodigious_a conjunction_n and_o therefore_o a_o monster_n detestable_a both_o to_o god_n and_o man_n it_o be_v but_o right_a then_o and_o as_o it_o shall_v be_v that_o these_o two_o here_o make_v but_o one_o whole_a conclusion_n one_o whole_a duty_n one_o whole_a matter_n one_o whole_a man_n they_o may_v be_v distinguish_v they_o may_v not_o be_v divide_v god_n have_v join_v they_o together_o and_o let_v no_o man_n seek_v to_o put_v they_o asunder_o but_o he_o that_o fear_v god_n let_v he_o keep_v his_o commandment_n least_o commandment_n but_o two_o thing_n there_o be_v that_o seem_v especial_o to_o deceive_v man_n in_o this_o point_n first_o a_o erroneous_a opinion_n that_o a_o spiritual_a action_n can_v be_v good_a so_o long_o as_o it_o may_v be_v better_v as_o have_v so_o much_o of_o sin_n as_o it_o want_v of_o absolute_a perfection_n which_o they_o suppose_v the_o law_n under_o the_o high_a term_n of_o eternal_a death_n do_v require_v at_o every_o man_n hand_n but_o this_o be_v apparent_o mistake_v for_o evident_a it_o be_v that_o the_o law_n under_o the_o penalty_n enforce_v only_o essential_a goodness_n not_o so_o that_o which_o be_v gradual_a otherwise_o the_o holy_a angel_n may_v now_o sin_v in_o heaven_n for_o they_o excel_v one_o another_o as_o in_o nature_n so_o in_o their_o zeal_n and_o operation_n yea_o he_o that_o be_v holy_a than_o the_o angel_n christ_n himself_o will_v be_v endanger_v of_o who_o the_o scripture_n do_v plain_o affirm_v that_o he_o pray_v at_o one_o time_n
