revelation_n of_o the_o righteous_a judgement_n of_o god_n imply_v that_o howsoever_o god_n be_v just_a in_o all_o his_o judgement_n and_o act_n of_o providence_n even_o upon_o earth_n yet_o the_o counsel_n and_o purpose_n of_o god_n in_o these_o thing_n be_v often_o secret_a and_o past_o our_o find_v out_o but_o at_o the_o last_o great_a day_n when_o 6._o when_o ibid._n 6._o he_o shall_v particular_n yet_o some_o general_a satisfaction_n we_o may_v have_v from_o a_o three_o certainty_n and_o that_o be_v this_o every_o evil_n of_o pain_n whatsoever_o it_o be_v or_o howsoever_o consider_v which_o be_v bring_v upon_o any_o man_n be_v bring_v upon_o he_o evermore_o for_o sin_n yea_o and_o that_o also_o for_o his_o own_o personal_a sin_n every_o branch_n of_o this_o assertion_n will_v be_v well_o mark_v i_o say_v first_o every_o evil_a of_o pain_n whatsoever_o it_o be_v whether_o natural_a defect_n and_o infirmity_n in_o soul_n or_o body_n or_o outward_a affliction_n in_o good_n friend_n or_o good_a name_n whether_o inward_a distress_n of_o a_o afflict_a or_o terror_n of_o a_o affright_a conscience_n whether_o temporal_a or_o eternal_a death_n whether_o evil_n of_o this_o life_n or_o after_o it_o or_o whatsoever_o other_o evil_a it_o be_v that_o be_v any_o way_n grievous_a to_o any_o man_n every_o such_o evil_n be_v for_o sin_n consider_v §._o 7._o howsoever_o consider_v i_o say_v second_o every_o evil_n of_o pain_n howsoever_o consider_v whether_o formal_o and_o sub_fw-la ratione_fw-la poenae_fw-la as_o the_o proper_a effect_n of_o god_n vengeance_n and_o against_o some_o future_a sin_n or_o as_o a_o clog_a chain_n to_o keep_v under_o and_o disable_v we_o from_o some_o outward_a work_n of_o sin_n or_o as_o a_o fit_a matter_n and_o object_n whereon_o to_o exercise_v our_o christian_a grace_n of_o faith_n charity_n patience_n humility_n and_o the_o rest_n or_o as_o a_o occasion_n give_v and_o take_v by_o almighty_a god_n for_o the_o great_a manifestation_n of_o the_o glory_n of_o his_o wisdom_n and_o power_n and_o goodness_n in_o the_o removal_v of_o it_o or_o as_o a_o act_n of_o exemplary_a justice_n for_o the_o admonition_n and_o terror_n of_o other_o or_o for_o whatsoever_o other_o end_n purpose_n or_o respect_v it_o be_v inflict_v siâ—ne_n §._o 8._o be_v for_o the_o siâ—ne_n i_o say_v three_o every_o such_o evil_a of_o for_o some_o far_a end_n which_o god_n have_v in_o it_o in_o his_o secret_a and_o everlasting_a purpose_n and_o namely_o this_o among_o the_o rest_n that_o the_o work_n of_o god_n may_v be_v manifest_a in_o he_o and_o the_o godhead_n of_o the_o son_n make_v glorious_a in_o his_o miraculous_a cure_n as_o in_o nature_n the_o intention_n of_o the_o phys._n the_o see_v arist._n 2._o phys._n end_n do_v not_o overthrow_n but_o rather_o suppose_v the_o necessity_n of_o the_o matter_n so_o be_v it_o in_o the_o work_n of_o god_n and_o the_o dispensation_n of_o his_o wonderful_a providence_n it_o be_v from_o god_n mercy_n order_v they_o to_o those_o end_v he_o have_v purpose_v that_o his_o punishment_n be_v good_a but_o it_o be_v withal_o from_o our_o sin_n deserve_v they_o as_o the_o
