than_o that_o worthy_a country_n man_n of_o we_o master_n robert_n rollok_n who_o what_o he_o be_v in_o himself_o i_o mean_v for_o his_o life_n and_o conversation_n i_o suppose_v very_o you_o of_o any_o man_n live_v best_o know_v and_o can_v and_o will_v most_o true_o relate_v as_o time_n and_o occasion_n shall_v be_v offer_v because_o you_o be_v not_o only_o the_o long_a but_o most_o inward_o acquaint_v with_o all_o his_o carriage_n and_o what_o he_o be_v and_o have_v be_v to_o the_o church_n his_o worthy_a work_n leave_v â—â—â—ind_v he_o beside_o his_o daily_a labour_n in_o the_o pulpit_n and_o school_n can_v more_o than_o sufficient_o testify_v what_o to_o man_n in_o the_o world_n be_v manifest_v by_o many_o thing_n but_o not_o by_o any_o more_o than_o this_o that_o hitherto_o envy_v itself_o have_v not_o open_v her_o mouth_n neither_o ever_o shall_v be_v able_a so_o to_o do_v his_o conversation_n be_v so_o christian_n and_o his_o judgement_n so_o sincere_a this_o worthy_a instrument_n of_o his_o glory_n god_n graciouslie_o offer_v nay_o liberal_o lend_v a_o long_a while_n to_o our_o church_n but_o we_o 〈◊〉_d so_o reverentlie_o esteem_v he_o as_o we_o shall_v nor_o fearful_o profit_v by_o he_o as_o in_o deed_n we_o ought_v god_n in_o great_a mercy_n towards_o he_o doubtless_o though_o in_o no_o small_a judgement_n to_o we_o ward_n have_v be_v please_v to_o retreat_n he_o to_o himself_o out_o of_o this_o wretched_a world_n and_o to_o bring_v he_o to_o yea_o to_o place_n he_o in_o celestial_a &_o heavenly_a joy_n which_o whatsoever_o he_o be_v do_v he_o do_v hunger_n and_o thirst_n after_o yea_o groan_n and_o 〈◊〉_d and_o as_o we_o may_v say_v in_o another_o man_n speech_n 〈◊〉_d another_o matter_n he_o do_v eat_v drink_n and_o 〈◊〉_d eternal_a life_n every_o thing_n in_o he_o in_o a_o manner_n assure_o testify_v that_o here_o be_v not_o his_o hope_n but_o that_o he_o look_v for_o a_o city_n eternal_a in_o the_o heaven_n all_o which_o grace_n god_n give_v he_o not_o only_o for_o his_o own_o consolation_n but_o in_o deed_n for_o our_o imitation_n if_o happy_o we_o can_v strive_v thereto_o that_o he_o be_v in_o some_o measure_n both_o in_o life_n and_o death_n make_v conformable_a to_o his_o head_n and_o saviour_n christ_n we_o may_v learn_v in_o deed_n and_o that_o by_o a_o example_n in_o frail_a flesh_n and_o blood_n to_o purge_v ourselves_o from_o all_o filthiness_n of_o the_o flesh_n and_o the_o spirit_n and_o to_o finish_v our_o sanctification_n in_o the_o fear_n of_o god_n wherein_o that_o the_o lord_n may_v the_o better_a instruct_v he_o have_v thus_o far_o graciouslie_o provide_v for_o we_o that_o though_o he_o be_v depart_v from_o we_o as_o in_o regard_n of_o the_o body_n yet_o he_o be_v present_a with_o we_o in_o respect_n of_o his_o spirit_n yea_o to_o say_v truth_n he_o live_v and_o that_o not_o only_o with_o god_n and_o innumerable_a saint_n and_o angel_n in_o the_o heavenly_a place_n where_o be_v the_o fruition_n and_o fullness_n of_o joy_n for_o evermore_o but_o even_o with_o man_n yea_o holy_a man_n upon_o earth_n and_o speak_v to_o they_o though_o not_o in_o a_o bodily_a voice_n yet_o in_o the_o sound_n of_o his_o lecture_n and_o fame_n of_o many_o excellent_a thing_n of_o he_o provoke_v the_o good_a every_o day_n to_o be_v better_o and_o admonish_v the_o wicked_a every_o where_o to_o turn_v from_o dead_a work_n unto_o the_o live_a god_n that_o so_o they_o may_v repent_v and_o be_v save_v and_o this_o he_o do_v among_o other_o even_o in_o these_o sermon_n or_o lecture_n which_o now_o i_o present_v unto_o you_o as_o a_o posthume_n birth_n after_o the_o father_n decease_n or_o as_o a_o orphan_n destitute_a of_o earthly_a parent_n not_o only_o to_o receive_v as_o it_o be_v breath_n and_o be_v from_o you_o for_o that_o it_o have_v do_v already_o as_o without_o who_o good_a mean_n in_o deed_n it_o can_v never_o have_v behold_v this_o light_n but_o all_o good_a supportation_n beside_o it_o lie_v in_o you_o not_o only_o for_o yourself_o but_o with_o sundry_a other_o by_o reason_n of_o the_o good_a credit_n you_o have_v among_o all_o special_o with_o the_o godly_a to_o give_v it_o voge_fw-mi and_o passage_n take_v it_o therefore_o i_o pray_v you_o into_o your_o good_a patronage_n and_o protection_n and_o receive_v it_o as_o it_o be_v in_o deed_n you_o yea_o you_o i_o say_v if_o not_o in_o many_o good_a and_o gracious_a respect_n beside_o yet_o in_o a_o double_a regard_n at_o the_o least_o one_o in_o consideration_n of_o the_o author_n who_o thing_n while_o he_o live_v yea_o and_o after_o life_n and_o death_n also_o be_v you_o as_o you_o again_o he_o but_o all_o in_o christ_n another_o in_o that_o it_o be_v produce_v to_o the_o view_n of_o all_o by_o your_o mean_n without_o which_o it_o shall_v have_v be_v as_o bedreden_a notable_a to_o move_v hand_n or_o foot_n nor_o to_o see_v or_o speak_v or_o shall_v have_v perish_v inter_v blatta_n &_o tineas_fw-la as_o we_o say_v but_o now_o come_v forth_o into_o the_o world_n clothe_v as_o it_o be_v with_o your_o countenance_n and_o to_o be_v uphold_v by_o your_o credit_n in_o this_o holy_a love_n of_o you_o hold_v on_o i_o beseech_v you_o and_o increase_v with_o the_o increasing_n of_o god_n and_o show_v it_o effectual_o not_o only_o to_o he_o which_o yet_o remain_v among_o we_o as_o you_o have_v bountifullie_o
