advance_v the_o people_n to_o high_a dignity_n and_o power_n that_o all_o of_o they_o may_v be_v make_v lord_n and_o ruler_n of_o province_n and_o to_o this_o time_n they_o can_v not_o be_v persuade_v not_o scotfree_a fortunate_a or_o a_o glorious_a king_n before_o the_o world_n but_o righteous_a and_o a_o saviour_n which_o bring_v with_o he_o justice_n and_o salvation_n and_o destroy_v sin_n and_o death_n the_o enemy_n of_o sin_n and_o death_n which_o shall_v delyver_v all_o from_o sin_n and_o death_n that_o believe_v in_o he_o and_o take_v he_o for_o their_o king_n and_o be_v not_o offend_v with_o the_o borrow_a ass_n they_o that_o do_v this_o have_v give_v unto_o they_o remission_n of_o sin_n and_o remedy_n against_o death_n to_o the_o attainment_n of_o everlasting_a life_n and_o the_o king_n of_o the_o world_n their_o glory_n richesse_n tower_n palace_n let_v they_o live_v in_o glory_n never_o so_o much_o buyld_v they_o never_o so_o gorgeous_o is_z be_v their_o apparel_n never_o so_o coste_o yet_o have_v they_o not_o this_o power_n which_o this_o poor_a king_n have_v for_o there_o be_v no_o emperor_n king_n or_o pope_n so_o mighty_a with_o all_o his_o power_n that_o can_v delyver_v we_o from_o the_o least_o sin_n that_o be_v and_o that_o can_v heal_v a_o small_a disease_n with_o all_o the_o richesse_n that_o he_o have_v and_o what_o shall_v i_o say_v than_o against_o all_o sin_n and_o not_o only_o against_o my_o sin_n but_o against_o the_o sin_n of_o the_o whole_a world_n he_o come_v not_o only_o to_o take_v away_o disease_n but_o also_o death_n and_o not_o only_a death_n but_o also_o the_o death_n of_o all_o the_o world_n tell_v this_o say_v the_o prophet_n to_o the_o daughter_n of_o zion_n that_o she_o be_v not_o offend_v for_o his_o low_a behaviour_n but_o that_o she_o shut_v up_o her_o eye_n and_o open_v her_o ear_n and_o let_v she_o not_o consider_v how_o poor_a this_o king_n be_v in_o sight_n but_o what_o the_o word_n do_v teach_v of_o this_o king_n the_o poverty_n be_v open_a forasmuch_o as_o he_o come_v on_o a_o ass_n without_o ride_a apparel_n but_o in_o that_o he_o forgeve_v sin_n deliver_v from_o death_n geve_v salvation_n preaching_n of_o the_o gospel_n this_o be_v true_a but_o because_o of_o the_o simplicity_n thereof_o they_o be_v not_o think_v to_o have_v so_o great_a efficacy_n by_o the_o laver_n of_o water_n &_o supper_n of_o the_o lord_n but_o beware_v thy_o eye_n bring_v the_o not_o to_o this_o strait_n it_o seem_v a_o absurd_a thing_n in_o the_o eye_n of_o the_o people_n that_o he_o that_o come_v on_o a_o vile_a ass_n and_o after_o be_v crucify_v shall_v be_v think_v to_o have_v power_n against_o sin_n death_n and_o hell_n no_o man_n sight_n be_v so_o clear_a as_o to_o see_v that_o but_o the_o prophet_n say_v it_o therefore_o in_o this_o matter_n there_o be_v no_o need_n of_o eye_n but_o of_o faith_n and_o ear_n wherefore_o say_v the_o evangelist_n tell_v the_o daughter_n of_o zion_n and_o the_o prophet_n say_v rejoice_v zion_n be_v glad_a dance_n and_o leap_v for_o joy_n o_o jerusalem_n behold_v thy_o king_n come_v what_o manner_n of_o king_n a_o righteous_a king_n and_o a_o saviour_n come_v to_o the_o supper_n and_o as_o concern_v the_o other_o he_o say_v on_o this_o wise_a they_o shall_v not_o taste_v of_o my_o supper_n this_o gospel_n make_v very_o grevous_o against_o the_o jew_n and_o gentile_n now_o will_v we_o prosecute_v the_o parable_n in_o order_n supper_n the_o man_n that_o make_v this_o supper_n be_v god_n which_o be_v a_o sumptuous_a and_o a_o scotfree_a feast_n maker_n and_o have_v after_o his_o riches_n and_o majesty_n prepare_v a_o supper_n which_o be_v call_v great_a not_o so_o much_o for_o the_o respect_n of_o the_o maker_n thereof_o which_o be_v god_n and_o be_v baptise_a shall_v be_v save_v he_o that_o beleve_v not_o shall_v be_v condemn_v whereby_o he_o set_v before_o we_o both_o heaven_n and_o hell_n death_n and_o life_n wrath_n and_o mercy_n conscience_n for_o he_o teach_v not_o true_o what_o be_v sin_n but_o he_o magnify_v his_o own_o trifle_n and_o curss_v he_o that_o will_v not_o keep_v his_o ceremony_n and_o man_n tradition_n but_o the_o gospel_n open_v sin_n and_o the_o wrath_n of_o god_n from_o heaven_n that_o all_o we_o none_o except_v do_v live_v in_o sin_n and_o be_v ungodlie_a this_o thing_n do_v god_n command_v to_o be_v show_v unto_o we_o by_o the_o gospel_n i._o when_o he_o say_v to_o the_o apostle_n go_v and_o preach_v repentance_n but_o repentance_n can_v not_o be_v preach_v but_o by_o the_o open_n of_o the_o wrath_n of_o god_n xxiiii_o against_o all_o man_n because_o they_o be_v full_a of_o unbelief_n contempt_n of_o god_n and_o other_o sin_n this_o wrath_n ought_v to_o terrify_v they_o and_o to_o make_v their_o conscience_n quake_v for_o fear_n that_o they_o may_v compel_v theim selue_o and_o say_v o_o lord_n what_o must_v i_o do_v to_o avoid_v this_o misery_n than_o shall_v it_o be_v say_v to_o he_o sit_v down_o in_o the_o supper_n and_o eat_v for_o there_o be_v many_o table_n full_a of_o meat_n and_o yet_o void_a of_o geaste_n thou_o be_v christen_v therefore_o believe_v in_o jesu_n christ_n that_o he_o have_v satisfy_v for_o thou_o thou_o have_v none_o other_o remedy_n against_o this_o destruction_n then_o to_o be_v baptise_a and_o to_o believe_v for_o than_o shall_v wrath_n be_v end_v and_o great_a plenty_n of_o grace_n mercy_n and_o remission_n of_o sin_n send_v down_o from_o heaven_n unto_o thou_o to_o thy_o great_a joy_n and_o singular_a comfort_n compel_v wherefore_o to_o compel_v be_v nothing_o else_o then_o to_o preach_v repentance_n and_o remission_n of_o sin_n to_o show_v the_o wrath_n of_o god_n upon_o sinner_n and_o mercy_n upon_o they_o that_o believe_v the_o both_o of_o the_o jew_n and_o gentile_n and_o all_o be_v general_o call_v poor_a needy_a lame_a and_o weak_a for_o after_o the_o fear_n of_o the_o conscience_n they_o glad_o embrace_v the_o gospel_n and_o desire_v mercy_n but_o they_o that_o refuse_v to_o do_v this_o be_v they_o never_o so_o prudent_a and_o wise_a have_v this_o sentence_n give_v against_o they_o they_o shall_v not_o taste_v of_o it_o but_o we_o which_o by_o the_o peculiar_a grace_n of_o god_n be_v set_v in_o the_o middle_n of_o the_o light_n of_o this_o gospel_n be_v fill_v and_o well_o feed_v and_o be_v become_v lusty_a terrible_a thing_n with_o plain_a and_o simple_a word_n they_o shall_v not_o taste_v of_o my_o supper_n as_o though_o he_o shall_v say_v my_o supper_n be_v not_o to_o be_v despise_v for_o it_o be_v hope_n that_o if_o he_o may_v bring_v christ_n to_o he_o before_o he_o be_v dead_a he_o shall_v not_o be_v past_a cure_n but_o yet_o can_v not_o christ_n take_v this_o for_o faith_n because_o that_o turn_v unto_o he_o as_o the_o history_n of_o the_o publican_n and_o sinner_n may_v be_v a_o example_n unto_o we_o in_o that_o they_o be_v convert_v at_o the_o word_n of_o christ_n teach_v this_o word_n teach_v nothing_o else_o but_o that_o god_n be_v merciful_a unto_o sinner_n to_o save_v they_o for_o christ_n sake_n so_o that_o they_o do_v not_o harden_v their_o heart_n at_o the_o voice_n saint_n desperation_n wherefore_o this_o word_n ought_v great_o and_o studious_o to_o be_v regard_v that_o we_o may_v be_v defend_v and_o strong_o arm_v against_o the_o devil_n and_o our_o own_o heart_n lest_o we_o be_v in_o such_o a_o opinion_n of_o god_n that_o he_o hate_v sinner_n for_o such_o a_o sense_n and_o feeling_n be_v in_o all_o man_n mind_n but_o the_o help_n of_o god_n word_n understand_v but_o also_o every_o civil_a magistrate_n temporal_a ruler_n worldly_a governor_n officer_n etc._n etc._n geve_v say_v christ_n to_o cesar_n that_o be_v dew_n to_o cesar_n and_o to_o god_n that_o be_v due_a to_o god_n now_o consider_v also_o the_o reward_n if_o thou_o obey_v god_n and_o follow_v his_o commandement_fw-fr the_o reward_n of_o this_o obedience_n shall_v be_v everla_a and_o immortal_a that_o be_v to_o say_v heaven_n and_o eternal_a life_n but_o if_o thou_o obey_v the_o temporal_a magistrate_n against_o god_n the_o reward_n that_o thou_o shall_v receive_v 20._o shall_v be_v but_o short_a and_o transitorye_n and_o after_o that_o thou_o shall_v suffer_v the_o peyne_n of_o everla_a damnation_n in_o that_o most_o horrible_a lake_n that_o burn_v with_o fire_n and_o brimstone_n such_o as_o live_v under_o tyrant_n ought_v to_o consider_v this_o that_o they_o may_v certain_o know_v that_o god_n require_v of_o all_o man_n his_o obedience_n which_o also_o ought_v unfayned_o to_o be_v show_v come_v life_n come_v death_n mangre_n the_o tyrant_n beard_n god_n doothe_v not_o forbydde_v but_o that_o thou_o may_v geve_v to_o cesar_n that_o belongethe_v
