we_o grant_v sin_n to_o have_v be_v in_o the_o world_n before_o the_o law_n yet_o sure_o when_o the_o law_n come_v sin_n be_v then_o no_o more_o in_o the_o world_n for_o the_o law_n be_v a_o perfect_a those_o word_n and_o say_v but_o why_o do_v thou_o paul_n say_v that_o by_o the_o obedience_n of_o one_o shall_v many_o be_v make_v righteous_a that_o be_v many_o shall_v be_v justify_v for_o there_o be_v no_o need_n of_o the_o obedience_n of_o another_o that_o any_o shall_v be_v make_v righteous_a or_o that_o any_o shall_v be_v justify_v since_o the_o law_n be_v give_v for_o the_o law_n be_v and_o not_o for_o the_o remission_n of_o the_o sin_n commit_v under_o the_o gospel_n but_o that_o he_o may_v show_v the_o weakness_n of_o the_o old_a law_n of_o which_o the_o jew_n with_o who_o he_o have_v to_o do_v for_o a_o great_a part_n in_o this_o his_o epistle_n do_v glory_n and_o that_o he_o may_v declare_v that_o those_o expiation_n or_o purgation_n which_o appertain_v to_o the_o law_n be_v not_o true_a purgation_n and_o expiation_n indeed_o but_o only_a shadow_n of_o true_a purgation_n and_o expiation_n for_o it_o be_v not_o possible_a that_o the_o blood_n of_o bull_n and_o goat_n shall_v take_v away_o sin_n heb._n 10.4_o and_o as_o the_o apostle_n do_v here_o so_o do_v he_o also_o heb._n 9.15_o mention_v the_o redemption_n only_o of_o the_o transgression_n that_o be_v under_o not_o without_o reason_n for_o if_o the_o blood_n of_o christ_n be_v able_a to_o deliver_v man_n from_o their_o sin_n commit_v before_o it_o be_v shed_v much_o more_o be_v it_o able_a to_o deliver_v man_n from_o their_o sin_n which_o have_v be_v commit_v since_o the_o shed_n thereof_o yet_o note_n that_o some_o understand_v the_o sin_n that_o be_v past_a not_o of_o the_o sin_n commit_v under_o the_o law_n as_o so_o but_o of_o the_o sin_n commit_v by_o a_o man_n before_o his_o conversion_n whether_o under_o the_o law_n or_o not_o and_o they_o say_v that_o the_o apostle_n mention_v only_o the_o remission_n of_o sin_n commit_v before_o a_o man_n conversion_n to_o signify_v not_o that_o sin_n commit_v after_o conversion_n be_v unpardonable_a as_o novatus_n be_v say_v by_o some_o to_o hold_v but_o that_o they_o which_o be_v justify_v have_v no_o licence_n give_v they_o to_o sin_n by_o reason_n of_o that_o grace_n for_o this_o be_v the_o manner_n of_o the_o gospel_n to_o threaten_v as_o i_o say_v not_o of_o actual_a but_o original_a sin_n yet_o the_o man_n in_o who_o person_n the_o apostle_n raise_v this_o tacit_a objection_n which_o he_o here_o prevent_v or_o answer_v take_v it_o as_o though_o he_o speak_v of_o actual_a sin_n for_o of_o such_o sin_n be_v the_o apostle_n to_o be_v understand_v as_o well_o as_o of_o original_a sin_n when_o he_o say_v for_o until_o the_o law_n sin_n be_v in_o the_o world_n etc._n etc._n where_o note_n that_o the_o apostle_n do_v not_o always_o raise_v objection_n in_o the_o person_n of_o one_o kind_n of_o man_n but_o sometime_o in_o the_o person_n of_o one_o kind_n of_o man_n sometime_o in_o the_o person_n of_o another_o and_o here_o he_o raise_v the_o objection_n which_o he_o here_o prevent_v or_o answer_v in_o the_o person_n of_o such_o a_o one_o as_o mistake_v the_o meaning_n of_o his_o word_n when_o he_o say_v all_o have_v sin_v as_o though_o he_o speak_v of_o actual_a sin_n when_o he_o speak_v only_o of_o original_a sin_n so_o when_o he_o say_v chap._n 6.14_o you_o be_v not_o under_o the_o law_n but_o under_o grace_n some_o utter_o mistake_v the_o sense_n of_o these_o word_n as_o though_o they_o be_v now_o absolute_o free_v from_o the_o law_n in_o every_o respect_n and_o nothing_o but_o favour_n be_v to_o be_v show_v live_v they_o never_o so_o dissolute_o conclude_v from_o thence_o that_o now_o in_o this_o their_o estate_n of_o christianity_n they_o may_v free_o sin_v who_o our_o apostle_n meet_v with_o there_o when_o he_o say_v what_o then_o shall_v we_o sin_v because_o we_o be_v not_o under_o
