cruel_a fierce_a contumelious_a shameless_a open_a profess_v wilful_a and_o spiteful_a hatred_n against_o god_n and_o all_o goodness_n yea_o against_o all_o his_o creature_n both_o good_a and_o evil_a this_o come_v of_o the_o exceed_a great_a strength_n of_o their_o nature_n which_o be_v once_o let_v loose_a to_o sin_n can_v not_o stay_v or_o rest_v but_o in_o the_o high_a degree_n of_o it_o like_o unto_o this_o remediless_a fall_n of_o the_o wicked_a angel_n be_v that_o sin_n which_o be_v in_o the_o scripture_n call_v the_o sin_n against_o the_o holy_a ghost_n when_o as_o one_o be_v endue_v with_o a_o great_a measure_n of_o grace_n do_v fall_v into_o this_o fearful_a and_o desperate_a hatred_n of_o god_n and_o of_o all_o goodness_n for_o as_o he_o who_o fall_v from_o a_o steep_a and_o and_o ugly_a for_o continual_a health_n he_o have_v infinite_a disease_n infirmity_n sickness_n &_o sore_n for_o his_o former_a felicity_n he_o be_v subject_a to_o as_o many_o danger_n as_o there_o be_v thing_n in_o the_o world_n there_o be_v almost_o nothing_o which_o may_v not_o become_v mortal_a unto_o he_o by_o some_o mean_n or_o other_o his_o immortality_n he_o have_v change_v with_o to_o leave_v these_o foul_a spirit_n in_o the_o bottomless_a pit_n of_o hell_n let_v we_o return_v to_o the_o consideration_n of_o this_o three_o state_n of_o man_n the_o which_o although_o in_o substance_n it_o be_v nothing_o but_o the_o first_o estate_n restore_v yet_o it_o be_v to_o be_v prefer_v before_o it_o in_o these_o respect_n first_o because_o it_o be_v certain_a immutable_a and_o not_o only_o variable_a but_o very_o short_a and_o momentanie_n as_o have_v be_v declare_v this_o arise_v not_o of_o any_o natural_a and_o inherent_a strength_n of_o man_n but_o of_o the_o mere_a grace_n and_o love_n of_o god_n support_v all_o his_o elect_a servant_n in_o this_o state_n and_o watch_v over_o they_o lest_o at_o any_o time_n they_o shall_v fall_v away_o second_o both_o the_o last_o refuge_n that_o man_n shall_v not_o die_v in_o his_o own_o person_n but_o get_v some_o other_o to_o die_v for_o he_o and_o so_o satisfy_v god_n justice_n well_o this_o be_v good_a payment_n regenerate_a sanctity_n or_o in_o plain_a english_a renew_v holiness_n so_o that_o faith_n if_o it_o be_v a_o part_n of_o the_o new_a man_n it_o be_v a_o part_n of_o regeneration_n and_o of_o holiness_n and_o contrariwise_o if_o it_o be_v a_o part_n of_o man_n holiness_n it_o be_v a_o part_n of_o regeneration_n of_o the_o new_a man_n and_o of_o the_o new_a creature_n that_o it_o be_v a_o
