also_o the_o life_n and_o will_n must_v die_v from_o sin_n and_o be_v as_o a_o child_n know_v nothing_o but_o long_v after_o the_o mother_n which_o bring_v it_o forth_o so_o must_v also_o the_o will_n of_o a_o christian_a enter_v again_o into_o its_o mother_n viz._n into_o the_o spirit_n of_o christ_n and_o become_v a_o child_n in_o itself_o in_o its_o own_o will_n and_o power_n have_v its_o will_n and_o desire_v incline_v and_o direct_v only_o towards_o its_o mother_n and_o a_o new_a will_n and_o obedience_n in_o righteousness_n which_o will_v sin_n no_o more_o must_v rise_v from_o death_n out_o of_o the_o spirit_n of_o christ._n 14._o for_o that_o will_v be_v not_o bear_v anew_o which_o desire_v and_o admit_v vanity_n into_o itself_o and_o yet_o there_o remain_v a_o will_n which_o one_o as_o with_o the_o other_o for_o which_o lust_n of_o the_o eye_n man_n so_o foolish_o forgo_v so_o great_a a_o happiness_n and_o for_o the_o sake_n thereof_o bring_v himself_o into_o so_o great_a and_o eternal_a unquietness_n in_o this_o consideration_n man_n shall_v feel_v in_o his_o own_o heart_n and_o mind_n especial_o if_o he_o model_n represent_v and_o set_v before_o his_o eye_n his_o own_o end_n that_o he_o shall_v draw_v get_v a_o hearty_a sigh_v and_o long_v after_o the_o mercy_n of_o god_n and_o will_v begin_v to_o bewail_v his_o commit_a sin_n that_o he_o have_v spend_v his_o one_o now_o who_o the_o spirit_n of_o christ_n bring_v into_o sorrow_n and_o repentance_n so_o that_o his_o heart_n be_v open_v that_o he_o can_v know_v and_o bewail_v his_o sin_n be_v very_o easy_o go_v that_o he_o may_v know_v what_o he_o must_v do_v and_o how_o it_o go_v with_o i_o if_o peradventure_o any_o be_v mind_v to_o follow_v it_o and_o then_o he_o shall_v perceive_v what_o be_v hereafter_o write_v conversion_n a_o process_n of_o repentance_n when_o any_o man_n find_v in_o himself_o by_o the_o former_a consideration_n a_o hunger_n that_o he_o will_v willing_o repent_v and_o perceive_v in_o himself_o a_o desire_n to_o repent_v a_o mighty_a strong_a purpose_n and_o resolution_n that_o he_o will_v this_o very_a hour_n nay_o this_o minite_a immediate_o enter_v into_o repentance_n and_o go_v forth_o from_o his_o wicked_a way_n and_o not_o at_o all_o regard_n the_o power_n and_o honour_n of_o the_o world_n and_o if_o it_o shall_v be_v require_v will_v forsake_v and_o disesteem_v all_o thing_n for_o true_a repentance_n sake_n and_o take_v such_o a_o earnest_a firm_a and_o strong_a resolution_n that_o he_o will_v never_o go_v forth_o from_o it_o again_o though_o he_o shall_v be_v make_v the_o fool_n &_o scorn_v of_o all_o the_o world_n for_o it_o and_o that_o with_o his_o mind_n he_o will_v go_v forth_o from_o the_o beauty_n and_o pleasure_n of_o the_o world_n and_o patient_o enter_v into_o the_o passion_n and_o death_n of_o christ_n in_o and_o under_o the_o cross_n and_o set_v all_o his_o hope_n and_o confidence_n upon_o the_o life_n to_o come_v and_o that_o now_o in_o righteousness_n and_o truth_n he_o will_v enter_v into_o the_o vineyard_n of_o christ_n and_o do_v the_o will_n of_o god_n and_o in_o the_o spirit_n and_o will_n of_o christ_n begin_v and_o finish_v all_o his_o action_n in_o this_o world_n and_o for_o christ_n word_n and_o promise_n sake_n who_o have_v promise_v we_o heavenly_a reward_n willing_o suffer_v and_o the_o soul_n and_o lay_v by_o as_o a_o crown_n use_v to_o be_v after_o a_o king_n be_v crown_v with_o it_o it_o be_v lay_v by_o and_o keep_v so_o it_o be_v also_o with_o the_o soul_n because_o it_o a_o imaginary_a opinion_n in_o self-desire_n whereto_o almost_o all_o have_v a_o peculiar_a natural_a lust_n or_o inclination_n &_o tho_o love_n shall_v proffer_v itself_o to_o they_o it_o will_v find_v no_o place_n in_o they_o because_o the_o imaginarinesse_n that_o be_v in_o their_o own_o will_n have_v set_v itself_o in_o the_o place_n thereof_o and_o so_o the_o imaginarinesse_n of_o selfe-lust_n will_v have_v the_o love_n in_o it_o but_o love_n fly_v away_o for_o it_o dwell_v only_o in_o nothing_o and_o therefore_o they_o find_v it_o not_o the_o scholar_n 32._o what_o be_v the_o office_n of_o it_o in_o nothing_o the_o master_n it_o be_v office_n be_v to_o penetrate_v without_o intermission_n into_o something_o and_o if_o it_o find_v a_o place_n in_o something_o which_o stand_v still_o than_o its_o office_n be_v to_o take_v possession_n thereof_o and_o to_o rejoice_v therein_o with_o its_o flame_a fire_n of_o love_n more_o than_o the_o sun_n in_o this_o world_n and_o without_o intermission_n to_o kindle_v a_o fire_n in_o something_o and_o to_o consume_v the_o something_o and_o to_o over-enflame_a itself_o therewith_o the_o scholar_n 33._o o_o love_a master_n how_o to_o it_o the_o master_n where_o the_o way_n be_v hard_a there_o walk_v thou_o and_o take_v up_o what_o the_o world_n reject_v and_o what_o the_o world_n do_v that_o do_v not_o thou_o walk_v contrary_a to_o the_o world_n in_o all_o thing_n and_o then_o thou_o come_v the_o near_a way_n to_o it_o the_o scholar_n 35._o if_o i_o shall_v walk_v contrary_a to_o every_o thing_n i_o must_v needs_o be_v in_o mere_a misery_n and_o unquietness_n and_o i_o shall_v also_o be_v account_v a_o fool_n the_o master_n i_o do_v not_o bid_v thou_o do_v harm_n to_o any_o but_o because_o the_o world_n love_v only_a deceit_n and_o vanity_n and_o walk_v in_o false_a and_o wicked_a way_n therefore_o if_o thou_o will_v act_v a_o clean_a contrary_a part_n to_o the_o way_n thereof_o in_o all_o thing_n walk_v only_o in_o the_o right_a way_n for_o the_o right_a way_n be_v contrary_a to_o all_o the_o way_n of_o the_o world_n but_o that_o thou_o â—aist_v thou_o shall_v be_v in_o mere_a anguish_n and_o trouble_n that_o indeed_o will_v be_v so_o according_a to_o the_o flesh_n and_o it_o will_v give_v thou_o occasion_n of_o continual_a repentance_n and_o in_o such_o anxiety_n the_o love_n must_v willing_o kindle_v its_o fire_n that_o thou_o say_v also_o thou_o shall_v be_v account_v a_o â—illy_a fool_n be_v true_a for_o the_o way_n to_o the_o love_n of_o god_n be_v solly_a to_o the_o world_n
