of_o discretion_n let_v thy_o spirit_n reveal_v unto_o he_o the_o mystery_n of_o the_o gospel_n and_o the_o riches_n of_o thy_o love_n in_o jesus_n christ_n and_o cause_v he_o to_o renew_v and_o perform_v the_o covenant_n that_o he_o have_v now_o make_v and_o to_o resign_v himself_o and_o all_o that_o he_o have_v entire_o unto_o thou_o his_o lord_n to_o be_v subject_a and_o obedient_a to_o thou_o his_o governor_n and_o to_o love_v thou_o his_o father_n with_o all_o his_o heart_n and_o soul_n and_o might_n and_o adhere_v unto_o thou_o and_o delight_v in_o thou_o as_o the_o portion_n of_o his_o soul_n desire_v and_o hope_v to_o enjoy_v thou_o in_o everlasting_a glory_n save_v he_o from_o the_o lust_n and_o allurement_n of_o the_o flesh_n the_o temptation_n of_o the_o devil_n and_o the_o bait_n of_o the_o pleasure_n profit_n and_o honour_n of_o the_o world_n and_o from_o all_o the_o corruption_n of_o his_o own_o heart_n and_o all_o the_o hurtful_a violence_n of_o his_o enemy_n keep_v he_o in_o communion_n with_o the_o saint_n in_o the_o love_n and_o use_v of_o thy_o word_n and_o worship_n let_v he_o deny_v himself_o and_o take_v up_o his_o cross_n and_o follow_v christ_n the_o captain_n of_o his_o salvation_n and_o be_v faithful_a unto_o the_o death_n and_o then_o receive_v the_o crown_n of_o life_n through_o jesus_n christ_n our_o saviour_n amen_n then_o use_v this_o exhortation_n or_o the_o like_a to_o the_o parent_n you_o that_o have_v devote_v this_o child_n to_o god_n and_o engage_v it_o in_o covenant_n to_o he_o must_v be_v thankful_a for_o so_o great_a a_o mercy_n to_o the_o child_n and_o must_v be_v faithful_a in_o perform_v what_o you_o have_v promise_v on_o your_o part_n in_o instruct_v and_o educate_v this_o child_n in_o the_o faith_n and_o fear_n of_o god_n that_o he_o may_v own_v and_o perform_v the_o covenant_n now_o make_v and_o receive_v all_o the_o blessing_n which_o god_n have_v promise_v hear_v what_o god_n have_v make_v your_o duty_n ephes_n 6._o 4._o father_n provoke_v not_o your_o child_n to_o wrath_n but_o bring_v they_o up_o in_o the_o nurture_n and_o admonition_n of_o the_o lord_n prov._n 22._o 6._o train_z up_o a_o child_n
