family_n occasion_n they_o be_v call_v and_o crowd_v but_o then_o the_o coast_n will_v be_v clear_a we_o shall_v only_o be_v with_o christ_n thus_o the_o apostle_n speak_v concern_v fast_v and_o prayer_n enjoin_v the_o man_n and_o wife_n to_o part_v mutual_a company_n and_o society_n and_o forsake_v their_o contentment_n in_o their_o mutual_a fellowship_n 1_o cor._n 7.5_o that_o they_o may_v attribute_n through_o all_o eternity_n for_o god_n can_v but_o work_v for_o his_o own_o glory_n and_o because_o there_o can_v be_v no_o addition_n make_v to_o himself_o who_o be_v infinite_a in_o all_o his_o excellency_n therefore_o there_o must_v be_v only_o a_o manifestation_n of_o these_o and_o this_o be_v the_o aim_n of_o all_o god_n counsel_n he_o will_v show_v forth_o and_o make_v the_o immutability_n of_o all_o those_o perfection_n they_o partake_v of_o the_o like_a glorious_a grace_n with_o our_o saviour_n this_o last_o indeed_o be_v the_o end_n and_o perfection_n of_o grace_n it_o be_v give_v to_o adam_n and_o he_o shall_v have_v use_v it_o that_o he_o may_v have_v be_v immutable_a in_o the_o use_n of_o it_o but_o miss_v it_o he_o lose_v his_o grace_n and_o fall_v have_v two_o point_n of_o doctrine_n 1._o there_o be_v much_o want_v in_o the_o full_a knowledge_n of_o god_n name_n in_o the_o most_o able_a saint_n 2._o christ_n lend_v daily_o supply_v of_o knowledge_n to_o they_o according_a to_o their_o daily_a need_n to_o the_o first_o there_o be_v much_o want_v in_o the_o full_a knowledge_n of_o god_n name_n in_o the_o most_o able_a saint_n the_o most_o know_a christian_n such_o as_o may_v seem_v to_o be_v in_o the_o high_a form_n near_o our_o saviour_n teach_v and_o train_v up_o under_o his_o wing_n yet_o have_v need_n that_o more_o of_o the_o name_n of_o the_o father_n shall_v be_v make_v know_v to_o they_o the_o point_n be_v plain_a in_o the_o word_n we_o shall_v need_v say_v no_o more_o to_o evidence_n it_o from_o the_o text_n but_o address_v ourselves_o to_o the_o further_a explication_n of_o it_o what_o this_o name_n be_v viz._n the_o name_n of_o god_n fatherly_a love_n and_o mercy_n and_o faithfulness_n and_o what_o it_o be_v to_o know_v it_o or_o to_o have_v it_o make_v know_v we_o have_v open_v former_o when_o the_o lord_n christ_n cause_v all_o the_o good_a and_o incomparable_a excellency_n of_o this_o fatherly_a mercy_n and_o faithfulness_n to_o pass_v before_o the_o eye_n of_o the_o soul_n and_o set_v on_o that_o suitable_a sweetness_n so_o effectual_o upon_o it_o as_o that_o it_o affect_v and_o draw_v the_o heart_n to_o look_v that_o way_n by_o the_o eye_n of_o faith_n so_o to_o eye_n it_o as_o to_o own_v it_o and_o fasten_v upon_o it_o this_o be_v the_o knowledge_n here_o mean_v and_o much_o of_o this_o be_v want_v even_o in_o those_o that_o be_v most_o eminent_a it_o be_v a_o general_a ground_n which_o take_v in_o the_o particular_n with_o advantage_n when_o the_o holy_a man_n job_n lay_v forth_o at_o large_a the_o way_n of_o god_n in_o his_o providence_n lim_v out_o to_o the_o life_n his_o excellency_n he_o end_v with_o this_o and_o veil_n as_o it_o be_v what_o he_o be_v not_o able_a to_o express_v these_o be_v part_n of_o his_o way_n but_o how_o little_a a_o portion_n be_v hear_v of_o he_o job_n 26_o 14._o q._n d._n there_o be_v little_a of_o that_o unconceivable_a excellency_n hear_v of_o or_o report_v though_o the_o earth_n and_o heaven_n be_v full_a of_o his_o goodness_n and_o his_o mercy_n over_o all_o shine_v with_o the_o great_a lustre_n in_o all_o his_o work_n yet_o this_o be_v but_o a_o little_a portion_n of_o he_o and_o we_o know_v little_a of_o this_o and_o hence_o moses_n who_o converse_v face_n to_o face_n with_o god_n unto_o who_o the_o lord_n do_v familiarise_v
