man_n by_o who_o the_o offence_n come_v here_o in_o general_n he_o discharge_v lay_v of_o any_o stumble_a block_n before_o other_o whether_o by_o word_n or_o deed_n or_o any_o other_o way_n which_o may_v induce_v any_o man_n to_o sin_n or_o may_v hinder_v he_o in_o the_o course_n of_o obedience_n of_o god_n the_o reason_n of_o the_o discharge_n be_v seven_o which_o be_v so_o many_o doctrine_n the_o 1._o reason_n much_o woe_n much_o sin_n and_o misery_n be_v to_o come_v upon_o the_o world_n by_o stumble_a block_n cast_v before_o they_o therefore_o beware_v of_o offence_n for_o woe_n unto_o offence_n must_v come_v 2._o whatsoever_o mischief_n shall_v come_v or_o may_v come_v by_o a_o stumble_a block_n shall_v be_v impute_v unto_o he_o who_o give_v offence_n or_o lay_v a_o stumble_a block_n in_o other_o way_n for_o woe_n to_o the_o man_n by_o who_o the_o offence_n come_v 3._o neither_o the_o necessity_n of_o the_o come_n of_o offence_n in_o god_n providence_n nor_o the_o imputation_n of_o the_o mischief_n do_v unto_o the_o man_n who_o give_v offence_n shall_v excuse_v the_o party_n that_o take_v offence_n or_o save_v he_o from_o wrath_n for_o still_o this_o stand_v pluck_v it_o out_o and_o cast_v it_o from_o thou_o â—_o it_o be_v better_a for_o thou_o to_o enter_v into_o life_n with_o one_o eye_n rather_o than_o have_v two_o eye_n to_o be_v cast_v into_o hell_n fire_n a_o three_o reason_n whatsoever_o thing_n it_o be_v which_o be_v the_o cause_n of_o a_o sinful_a fall_n to_o yourself_o or_o to_o your_o neighbour_n be_v it_o as_o profitable_a or_o necessary_a as_o your_o eye_n or_o your_o foot_n in_o your_o estimation_n it_o be_v better_a to_o be_v deprive_v of_o it_o then_o to_o sin_n and_o so_o be_v cast_v in_o hell_n with_o it_o therefore_o beware_v of_o give_v offence_n hence_o learn_v 1._o that_o the_o cause_n of_o stumble_v ourselves_o and_o move_v other_o to_o stumble_v be_v in_o ourselves_o to_o wit_n some_o belove_a lust_n precious_a and_o profitable_a perhaps_o in_o our_o estimation_n as_o our_o eye_n or_o our_o hand_n or_o our_o foot_n therefore_o say_v he_o if_o thy_o hand_n eye_n or_o foot_n offend_v thou_o 2_o such_o belove_a lust_n must_v either_o be_v mortify_v and_o cut_v off_o or_o else_o we_o can_v but_o perish_v and_o therefore_o better_a these_o lust_n be_v abandon_v and_o cut_v off_o than_o they_o and_o we_o shall_v both_o perish_v cut_v they_o off_o say_v he_o better_a for_o thou_o etc._n etc._n ver._n 10._o take_v heed_n that_o you_o despise_v not_o one_o of_o these_o little_a one_o for_o i_o say_v
