seem_v to_o some_o to_o favour_v it_o as_o a_o hypothesis_n because_o sometime_o modest_o discourse_v of_o it_o with_o some_o very_a few_o of_o my_o familiar_a acquaintance_n i_o do_v bring_v some_o reason_n both_o for_o and_o against_o as_o in_o other_o doubtful_a matter_n ingenuous_a and_o free-spirited_n man_n use_v to_o discourse_n pro_fw-la and_o contra_fw-la in_o order_n to_o find_v out_o the_o truth_n as_o concern_v the_o motion_n of_o the_o earth_n and_o the_o like_a yet_o i_o open_o declare_v that_o i_o never_o embrace_v it_o either_o as_o a_o article_n of_o faith_n or_o as_o any_o positive_a dogma_fw-la in_o philosophy_n as_o i_o do_v not_o at_o present_a nor_o be_o i_o ashamed_a to_o say_v as_o i_o be_o not_o sufficient_o able_a and_o furnish_v in_o all_o respect_n to_o refute_v it_o by_o evident_a reason_n so_o nor_o be_o i_o to_o defend_v it_o and_o i_o oft_o call_v to_o mind_v that_o say_n of_o plato_n it_o be_v not_o the_o part_n of_o a_o wise_a man_n to_o determine_v of_o obscure_a matter_n and_o much_o more_o that_o of_o david_n i_o exercise_v not_o myself_o in_o thing_n too_o high_a for_o i_o but_o because_o i_o can_v by_o no_o mean_n approve_v that_o method_n of_o argue_v which_o some_o use_v against_o that_o opinion_n nor_o the_o false_a zeal_n kindle_v in_o some_o against_o it_o that_o do_v rise_v in_o they_o from_o their_o prejudice_n against_o the_o necessity_n of_o faith_n in_o christ_n crucify_a in_o any_o degree_n either_o express_o or_o implicit_o in_o order_n to_o eternal_a salvation_n therefore_o some_o leaven_a with_o this_o evil_a prejudice_n do_v make_v it_o their_o business_n to_o load_v i_o with_o reproach_n and_o to_o spread_v false_a rumour_n concern_v i_o as_o hold_v many_o absurd_a thing_n concern_v the_o transmigration_n and_o revolution_n of_o soul_n for_o whereas_o many_o do_v use_v to_o bring_v this_o argument_n against_o the_o necessity_n of_o faith_n in_o the_o crucify_a jesus_n in_o order_n to_o eternal_a salvation_n if_o such_o a_o necessity_n of_o faith_n in_o the_o crucify_a man_n jesus_n christ_n for_o eternal_a salvation_n be_v allow_v or_o grant_v the_o revolution_n of_o many_o soul_n must_v be_v grant_v but_o the_o last_o be_v absurd_a and_o therefore_o be_v the_o first_o absurd_a also_o and_o i_o in_o my_o answer_v to_o this_o argument_n have_v sometime_o say_v on_o the_o hypothesis_n that_o if_o such_o a_o sequel_n of_o the_o major_n or_o first_o proposition_n be_v admit_v it_o be_v better_a to_o admit_v or_o allow_v that_o hypothesis_n concern_v the_o revolution_n of_o the_o soul_n of_o some_o gentile_n die_v in_o pure_a gentilism_n or_o deism_n who_o have_v in_o any_o manner_n live_v pious_o towards_o god_n and_o sober_o and_o honest_o towards_o man_n suppose_v it_o be_v not_o true_a then_o to_o assert_v that_o such_o die_v in_o a_o pure_a gentilism_n be_v whole_o and_o final_o deprive_v of_o eternal_a life_n on_o the_o other_o hand_n to_o affirm_v crucify_a my_o adversary_n have_v just_o accuse_v i_o of_o a_o crime_n in_o this_o matter_n nor_o do_v i_o think_v that_o this_o author_n who_o i_o judge_v to_o be_v a_o sober_a man_n when_o he_o betwixt_o my_o adversary_n and_o i_o in_o pensilvania_n or_o here_o in_o england_n for_o i_o do_v not_o remember_v that_o i_o have_v the_o least_o controversy_n with_o my_o adversary_n either_o there_o or_o here_o concern_v the_o twofold_n humanity_n of_o christ_n but_o concern_v christ_n within_o and_o christ_n without_o for_o because_o i_o frequent_o preach_v in_o the_o quaker_n meeting_n faith_n in_o christ_n be_v man_n without_o we_o as_o well_o as_o in_o christ_n the_o life_n the_o light_n the_o word_n in_o we_o and_o that_o this_o faith_n that_o respect_v he_o both_o way_n be_v in_o a_o monthly_a meeting_n accuse_v i_o for_o deny_v that_o the_o light_n within_o we_o be_v sufficient_a to_o salvation_n without_o something_o else_o now_o my_o adversary_n in_o pensilvania_n by_o christ_n within_o we_o understand_v no_o other_o thing_n than_o the_o godhead_n and_o they_o have_v this_o sense_n or_o meaning_n of_o christ_n within_o that_o this_o only_a shall_v be_v call_v and_o make_v a_o present_a of_o this_o book_n but_o also_o a_o particular_a dedication_n thereof_o unto_o you_o and_o see_v that_o it_o be_v a_o thing_n most_o certain_a and_o that_o the_o very_a sight_n of_o the_o book_n do_v immediate_o show_v it_o that_o what_o i_o here_o offer_n be_v a_o piece_n that_o be_v altogether_o new_a but_o yet_o neither_o over_o bulky_a nor_o prolix_a i_o be_v persuade_v that_o this_o my_o undertake_n will_v not_o prove_v unpleasing_a to_o you_o because_o that_o as_o the_o great_a be_v very_o much_o take_v with_o the_o novelty_n of_o other_o thing_n even_o so_o they_o give_v occasion_n to_o that_o old_a proverbial_a adage_n little_a thing_n be_v pretty_a to_o this_o i_o may_v add_v that_o this_o book_n brief_o treat_v of_o thing_n transact_v up_o and_o down_o and_o for_o some_o time_n in_o that_o nation_n where_o in_o the_o name_n of_o the_o renown_a state_n you_o have_v be_v first_o envoy_n to_o the_o most_o potent_a and_o most_o serene_a prince_n king_n william_n and_o queen_n mary_n to_o that_o great_a and_o glorious_a queen_n alas_o late_o ravish_v from_o earth_n by_o inexorable_a fate_n of_o who_o virtue_n there_o be_v at_o this_o time_n so_o
