understand_v it_o and_o these_o two_o well_o agree_v together_o and_o the_o one_o infer_v the_o other_o that_o which_o a_o man_n lay_v to_o heart_n he_o will_v consider_v if_o the_o heart_n be_v affect_v the_o understanding_n will_v be_v employ_v a_o man_n can_v but_o revolve_v that_o which_o he_o be_v cut_v and_o strike_v with_o by_o consider_v it_o we_o lay_v it_o to_o heart_n while_o i_o muse_v the_o fire_n kindle_v there_o be_v a_o affection_n in_o the_o mind_n towards_o the_o object_n if_o it_o be_v of_o delight_n it_o bring_v joy_n if_o sadness_n it_o bring_v sorrow_n and_o these_o and_o withal_o bemoan_v and_o bewail_v both_o the_o misery_n they_o suffer_v and_o the_o calamity_n we_o be_v like_a to_o suffer_v by_o reason_n they_o be_v take_v away_o from_o the_o evil_a to_o come_v and_o by_o imitate_v their_o virtue_n follow_v their_o grace_n set_v before_o we_o their_o exemplary_a life_n and_o tread_v in_o their_o step_n so_o as_o to_o prepare_v for_o die_v for_o suffer_v in_o the_o like_a or_o any_o other_o kind_n that_o death_n may_v not_o find_v we_o unprovided_a and_o if_o we_o do_v live_v to_o prepare_v for_o the_o evil_a to_o come_v judgement_n be_v at_o hand_n let_v we_o be_v make_v our_o peace_n with_o god_n by_o repent_v of_o our_o own_o and_o the_o sin_n of_o the_o land_n that_o when_o the_o evil_a come_v it_o may_v not_o come_v upon_o we_o unprepared_a and_o though_o we_o be_v take_v away_o we_o may_v be_v but_o take_v to_o the_o fruition_n of_o glory_n and_o happiness_n and_o that_o i_o may_v not_o be_v guilty_a of_o this_o sin_n i_o here_o declaim_v against_o it_o i_o dare_v not_o but_o stir_v up_o myself_o and_o you_o sad_o and_o verious_o stir_v up_o you_o and_o i_o to_o lay_v to_o heart_n this_o merciful_a man_n of_o god_n this_o righteous_a man_n that_o have_v be_v late_o take_v from_o we_o i_o hope_v none_o will_v envy_v his_o character_n if_o we_o look_v no_o further_o than_o his_o death_n it_o be_v a_o violent_a death_n but_o as_o for_o the_o cause_n of_o his_o death_n it_o concern_v not_o i_o it_o must_v be_v refer_v to_o that_o great_a day_n the_o day_n of_o judgement_n i_o hope_v without_o offence_n to_o any_o here_o i_o may_v look_v to_o the_o manner_n of_o his_o death_n the_o righteous_a be_v say_v to_o be_v bold_a as_o a_o lion_n and_o have_v hope_n in_o his_o death_n and_o what_o be_v this_o but_o the_o serene_a consequence_n of_o a_o well_o lead_a life_n that_o make_v he_o meek_o bold_a and_o humble_o confident_a and_o cheerful_a at_o his_o dissolution_n of_o all_o act_n of_o mercy_n none_o be_v great_a than_o that_o of_o forgive_a enemy_n which_o that_o he_o do_v witness_v those_o line_n those_o excellent_a line_n read_v at_o his_o interment_n or_o those_o gracious_a charitable_a word_n and_o prayer_n he_o utter_v upon_o the_o scaffold_n which_o proclaim_v he_o a_o man_n full_a of_o grace_n and_o mercy_n i_o want_v time_n and_o tongue_n to_o go_v over_o his_o life_n and_o all_o that_o know_v he_o will_v acknowledge_v this_o that_o the_o whole_a course_n of_o his_o life_n be_v a_o constellation_n of_o grace_n and_o virtue_n both_o as_o he_o be_v a_o christian_a and_o as_o he_o be_v a_o minister_n this_o righteous_a man_n be_v now_o perish_v this_o merciful_a man_n be_v now_o take_v away_o but_o i_o trust_v nay_o i_o have_v some_o measure_n of_o confidence_n he_o be_v but_o perish_v from_o the_o earth_n take_v from_o we_o and_o remove_v to_o a_o better_a habitation_n to_o enjoy_v a_o safe_a a_o more_o glorious_a life_n and_o i_o hope_v though_o he_o be_v out_o of_o sight_n yet_o he_o be_v not_o out_o of_o mind_n and_o will_v not_o be_v forget_v especial_o by_o you_o among_o who_o he_o have_v be_v a_o faithful_a and_o painful_a labourer_n he_o have_v spend_v his_o time_n strength_n and_o labour_n for_o your_o soul_n good_a therefore_o do_v you_o lay_v his_o death_n to_o heart_n remember_v how_o often_o you_o have_v behold_v he_o from_o his_o sacred_a oratory_n how_o often_o you_o have_v hear_v he_o drop_v nay_o overflow_a with_o faithful_a reproof_n sweet_a comfort_n wholesome_a admonitious_a remember_v all_o those_o savoury_a instruction_n you_o have_v hear_v from_o he_o remember_v and_o practice_v they_o that_o will_v be_v the_o best_a way_n to_o lay_v to_o heart_n the_o loss_n of_o this_o viagilant_a and_o faithful_a minister_n and_o lay_v to_o heart_n your_o own_o barrenness_n and_o unfruitfulness_n that_o have_v provoke_v god_n to_o deprive_v and_o rob_v you_o of_o such_o a_o jewel_n lay_v it_o to_o heart_n that_o you_o have_v be_v no_o more_o better_v and_o mend_v by_o those_o save_a doctrine_n and_o not_o only_o you_o but_o all_o of_o we_o lay_v it_o to_o heart_n this_o and_o all_o other_o of_o god_n servant_n that_o have_v be_v take_v from_o this_o city_n not_o many_o year_n ago_o which_o be_v a_o sad_a persage_n that_o the_o ruin_n thereof_o be_v at_o hand_n if_o a_o timely_a repentance_n and_o amendment_n of_o life_n prevent_v not_o which_o be_v the_o end_n of_o our_o discourse_n that_o all_o of_o we_o may_v be_v bring_v to_o a_o serious_a repentance_n as_o to_o lay_v to_o heart_n the_o perish_n and_o take_v away_o of_o the_o righteous_a one_o so_o not_o to_o murmur_v and_o repine_v at_o those_o that_o have_v be_v the_o instrument_n of_o our_o loss_n but_o to_o repent_v of_o our_o sin_n with_o grief_n and_o sorrow_n as_o the_o cause_n thereof_o by_o contempt_n of_o the_o word_n and_o sacrament_n have_v use_v all_o mean_n to_o provoke_v god_n to_o take_v they_o from_o we_o let_v we_o for_o the_o
