persecutor_n be_v swift_a than_o the_o eagle_n of_o the_o heaven_n they_o pursue_v we_o upon_o the_o mountain_n etc._n etc._n a_o nation_n who_o tongue_n thou_o shall_v not_o understand_v so_o that_o it_o shall_v not_o be_v possible_a to_o call_v for_o mercy_n at_o his_o hand_n verse_n 5â—_n and_o he_o shall_v besiege_v thou_o in_o all_o thy_o gate_n until_o thy_o high_a and_o fence_a wall_n which_o alas_o shall_v be_v no_o help_n at_o all_o to_o secure_v they_o against_o those_o enemy_n that_o god_n will_v send_v to_o destroy_v they_o verse_n 57_o and_o towards_o her_o young_a one_o that_o come_v out_o from_o between_o her_o foot_n the_o hebâ—ew_n word_n signify_v her_o afterbirth_n and_o imply_v that_o the_o mother_n shall_v devour_v both_o that_o and_o the_o child_n with_o it_o which_o much_o aggravate_v the_o judgement_n verse_n 62._o and_o you_o shall_v be_v leave_v few_o in_o number_n whereas_o you_o be_v as_o the_o star_n of_o heaven_n for_o multitude_n which_o be_v direct_o contrary_a to_o that_o which_o god_n have_v promise_v must_v needs_o be_v a_o evident_a sign_n of_o god_n displeasure_n against_o they_o verse_n 63._o the_o lord_n will_v rejoice_v over_o you_o to_o destroy_v you_o and_o to_o bring_v you_o to_o nought_o the_o drift_n of_o these_o word_n be_v to_o imply_v how_o great_a the_o indignation_n of_o the_o lord_n against_o they_o shall_v be_v that_o shall_v make_v he_o not_o only_o destroy_v but_o also_o rejoice_v in_o destroy_v a_o nation_n that_o have_v former_o be_v so_o precious_a in_o his_o eye_n and_o for_o who_o he_o have_v do_v such_o great_a and_o wonderful_a thing_n nor_o do_v this_o contradict_v what_o the_o lord_n say_v ezek._n 33._o 11._o as_o i_o live_v say_v the_o lord_n god_n i_o have_v no_o pleasure_n in_o the_o death_n of_o the_o wicked_a etc._n etc._n for_o though_o god_n do_v not_o delight_n in_o the_o destruction_n of_o his_o creature_n yet_o as_o there_o be_v a_o execution_n of_o justice_n do_v upon_o wicked_a man_n that_o despise_v his_o mercy_n the_o lord_n be_v please_v with_o it_o and_o rejoice_v to_o
