they_o before_o god_n and_o beg_a pardon_n for_o the_o same_o resolve_v upon_o amendment_n of_o life_n and_o a_o constant_a study_n of_o innocency_n and_o all_o christian_a virtue_n and_o therein_o not_o those_o part_n of_o repentance_n common_o so_o call_v viz._n contrition_n confession_n of_o sin_n and_o satisfaction_n concern_v the_o part_n of_o repentance_n before_o speak_v of_o we_o listen_v not_o much_o further_a to_o dispure_v be_v thorough_o persuade_v out_o of_o the_o holy_a scripture_n that_o in_o brief_a it_o consist_v in_o a_o serious_a and_o earnest_a mortyfy_n of_o the_o old_a man_n and_o quicken_a of_o the_o new_a the_o former_a whereof_o have_v force_n and_o efficacy_n from_o the_o death_n of_o christ_n and_o the_o latter_a from_o his_o resurrection_n the_o holy_a spirit_n communicate_v both_o unto_o we_o yet_o simple_o and_o absolute_o we_o condemn_v not_o that_o long_o ago_o receive_v and_o yet_o retain_v distinction_n in_o the_o school_n of_o the_o part_n
