destroy_v the_o nobility_n of_o the_o soul_n that_o ought_v only_o or_o at_o leastwise_o chief_o to_o contemplate_v and_o be_v in_o love_n with_o supernatural_a and_o divine_a thing_n and_o by_o consequence_n to_o leave_v dull_a cogitation_n and_o gross_a action_n for_o supplement_n of_o necessity_n or_o conveniency_n which_o be_v consider_v and_o put_v in_o practice_n with_o a_o constant_a and_o noble_a resolution_n we_o shall_v find_v such_o a_o beneficial_a patience_n daily_o to_o increase_v in_o our_o nature_n and_o disposition_n that_o will_v easy_o gain_v a_o signal_n victory_n over_o all_o obstacle_n and_o difficulty_n and_o render_v we_o not_o only_o temperate_a in_o expectation_n but_o invincible_a in_o suffer_v in_o fine_a i_o be_o of_o opinion_n that_o as_o want_v of_o patience_n be_v a_o deficiency_n of_o courage_n so_o be_v there_o never_o yet_o a_o excellent_a saint_n live_v in_o the_o world_n but_o that_o he_o be_v endue_v with_o a_o great_a spirit_n by_o nature_n for_o whosoever_o be_v altogether_o careless_a in_o his_o thought_n of_o honour_n and_o reputation_n for_o my_o part_n i_o shall_v have_v no_o extraordinary_a confidence_n either_o of_o his_o devotion_n or_o religion_n in_o conclusion_n a_o noble_a patience_n in_o to_o be_v esteem_v exceed_o for_o by_o it_o we_o do_v not_o only_o affront_v every_o adversity_n but_o by_o the_o discreet_a taste_v most_o of_o natural_a sensuality_n and_o so_o by_o consequence_n draw_v people_n to_o a_o kind_n of_o a_o bodily_a indulgency_n which_o of_o necessity_n either_o destroy_v or_o lessen_v the_o magnanimity_n of_o the_o soul_n and_o by_o that_o mean_n can_v but_o procure_v a_o impatiency_n and_o irksomeness_n in_o all_o accidental_a suffering_n whatsoever_o but_o here_o perhaps_o it_o may_v be_v think_v too_o hard_a a_o condition_n impose_v upon_o humane_a nature_n to_o be_v to_o suffer_v whereas_o god_n almighty_a out_o of_o his_o infinite_a mercy_n may_v have_v create_v man_n in_o in_o such_o a_o state_n as_o he_o shall_v have_v have_v no_o need_n at_o all_o of_o the_o use_n of_o patience_n unto_o which_o i_o shall_v only_o say_v that_o as_o it_o do_v not_o stand_v with_o god_n
