this_o damnation_n be_v call_v the_o anger_n of_o god_n and_o not_o a_o perturbation_n of_o god_n mind_n so_o that_o in_o his_o anger_n or_o during_o the_o continuance_n thereof_o his_o mercy_n shall_v nevertheless_o not_o be_v shut_v up_o howbeit_o the_o same_o shall_v not_o make_v a_o end_n of_o eternal_a punishment_n but_o only_o give_v a_o intermission_n or_o some_o ease_n of_o their_o torment_n because_o the_o psalm_n say_v not_o to_o make_v a_o end_n of_o his_o anger_n or_o after_o his_o anger_n be_v past_a but_o during_o his_o anger_n the_o which_o his_o anger_n if_o it_o be_v eternal_a and_o these_o torment_n do_v last_o but_o for_o certain_a age_n how_o long_o soever_o chap._n cxiii_o that_o in_o the_o world_n to_o come_v neither_o the_o feticitie_n of_o the_o godly_a not_o the_o punishment_n of_o the_o damn_a afterward_o shall_v be_v equal_a the_o death_n of_o the_o damn_a shall_v be_v everlasting_a and_o have_v none_o end_v that_o be_v they_o shall_v be_v the_o difference_n of_o their_o punishment_n the_o mitigate_a or_o intermission_n of_o their_o pain_n as_o also_o the_o happy_a life_n of_o the_o saint_n shall_v likewise_o endure_v for_o ever_o in_o which_o consideration_n they_o shall_v be_v all_o equal_a howsoever_o they_o shine_v and_o glitter_v in_o great_a variety_n and_o difference_n of_o degree_n in_o happiness_n yet_o with_o absolute_a peace_n and_o sweet_a agreement_n among_o themselves_o of_o the_o lord_n prayer_n chap._n cxiiii_o that_o the_o lord_n prayer_n contain_v all_o those_o thing_n which_o we_o be_v to_o hope_v for_o and_o to_o desire_v of_o god_n out_o of_o the_o confession_n of_o faith_n which_o be_v brief_o comprise_v in_o the_o creed_n and_o which_o be_v imperfect_o understand_v be_v milk_n for_o babe_n but_o more_o full_o and_o spiritual_o conceive_v &_o express_v be_v meat_n for_o strong_a man_n spring_v and_o grow_v that_o good_a and_o happy_a hope_n of_o the_o faithful_a which_o be_v always_o accompany_v with_o holy_a love_n but_o among_o all_o those_o thing_n which_o the_o faithful_a must_v believe_v they_o only_o appertain_v unto_o hope_n which_o be_v contain_v in_o the_o lord_n prayer_n for_o curse_a be_v every_o one_o as_o the_o divine_a oracle_n do_v testify_v which_o put_v his_o trust_n in_o man_n &_o so_o every_o one_o be_v wrap_v up_o in_o this_o curse_n which_o put_v his_o trust_n in_o himself_o wherefore_o we_o must_v not_o seek_v but_o at_o the_o hand_n of_o our_o lord_n god_n any_o thing_n which_o we_o hope_v we_o shall_v well_o perform_v or_o for_o which_o well_o perform_v we_o look_v for_o any_o praise_n or_o reward_n chap._n cxu._n that_o the_o lord_n prayer_n consist_v of_o seven_o petition_n and_o what_o the_o meaning_n and_o scope_n of_o they_o be_v wherefore_o the_o lord_n prayer_n as_o it_o be_v deliver_v by_o mathewe_n the_o evangelist_n seem_v to_o contain_v seven_o petition_n in_o three_o of_o the_o which_o we_o ask_v for_o thing_n eternal_a in_o the_o other_o four_o for_o thing_n temporal_a which_o yet_o notwithstanding_o be_v necessary_a for_o the_o attain_n of_o thing_n eternal_a for_o whereas_o we_o say_v hallow_a be_v thy_o name_n thy_o kingdom_n come_v thy_o will_v be_v do_v in_o earth_n as_o it_o be_v in_o heaven_n which_o some_o man_n have_v not_o unfit_o understand_v that_o god_n will_v shall_v be_v do_v both_o in_o our_o perfect_v which_o thing_n we_o hope_v shall_v be_v perform_v in_o the_o other_o life_n we_o
