teacher_n and_o ruler_n which_o have_v now_o long_o since_o be_v appoint_v and_o every_o where_o hitherto_o take_v place_n in_o diverse_a church_n of_o christ_n for_o order_n and_o decorum_n sake_n or_o for_o preserve_v good_a order_n for_o indeed_o god_n be_v not_o the_o 15._o author_n of_o confusion_n but_o of_o order_n if_o so_o be_v they_o do_v not_o at_o length_n degenerate_a into_o tyranny_n and_o make_v show_v of_o some_o worldly_a dignity_n and_o power_n rather_o than_o of_o a_o spiritual_a ministry_n and_o of_o that_o modesty_n and_o moderation_n which_o become_v the_o disciple_n of_o christ._n 8._o but_o if_o any_o one_o shall_v abuse_v the_o pretence_n of_o this_o order_n unto_o pride_n &_o haughtiness_n thereof_o and_o in_o particular_a if_o any_o by_o these_o degree_n shall_v not_o stick_v to_o climb_v so_o high_a as_o arrogant_o to_o assume_v unto_o himself_o not_o only_o a_o supreme_a right_o to_o determine_v in_o matter_n of_o religion_n and_o to_o decide_v all_o controversy_n of_o faith_n 29._o but_o also_o to_o usurp_v lordship_n over_o the_o lord_n heritage_n and_o over_o his_o fellow-servant_n yea_o over_o king_n and_o prince_n yea_o further_o whether_o direct_o or_o indirect_o to_o usurp_v a_o coactive_a power_n that_o be_v arm_v with_o outward_a force_n or_o uphold_v by_o the_o secular_a arm_n to_o punish_v other_o yea_o to_o punish_v they_o with_o the_o sword_n and_o with_o death_n who_o can_v out_o of_o conscience_n attribute_v this_o authority_n unto_o he_o or_o who_o refuse_v to_o subscribe_v to_o his_o determination_n decree_n and_o statute_n though_o in_o all_o other_o respect_v they_o be_v good_a and_o loyal_a subject_n to_o the_o commonwealth_n if_o any_o we_o say_v shall_v under_o this_o pretence_n usurp_v
