considerable_a than_o the_o sensitive_a and_o rational_a and_o which_o comprehend_v under_o it_o their_o generation_n growth_n and_o nourish_v which_o three_o be_v equal_o conspicuous_a in_o man_n as_o in_o plant_n though_o in_o a_o more_o noble_a and_o more_o eminent_a manner_n chap._n iii_o of_o the_o vegetative_a life_n common_a to_o man_n and_o plant_n the_o life_n of_o plant_n appear_v from_o their_o growth_n which_o suppose_v nutrition_n and_o both_o these_o suppose_v a_o birth_n and_o this_o imply_v a_o generation_n for_o whatsoever_o grow_v in_o a_o vital_a manner_n and_o by_o nature_n be_v nourish_v so_o likewise_o whatsoever_o be_v nourish_v have_v a_o birth_n and_o every_o thing_n that_o be_v bear_v be_v beget_v we_o will_v therefore_o begin_v to_o speak_v of_o man_n generation_n and_o of_o the_o first_o form_v of_o he_o the_o generation_n we_o here_o speak_v of_o be_v the_o production_n of_o a_o thing_n out_o of_o seed_n under_o this_o generation_n be_v comprehend_v conception_n and_o birth_n as_o separation_n and_o death_n be_v include_v in_o the_o corruption_n of_o thing_n this_o be_v that_o which_o be_v not_o find_v in_o the_o work_v of_o nature_n in_o the_o earth_n as_o well_o as_o in_o the_o water_n and_o in_o the_o air._n all_o and_o the_o only_a difficulty_n remain_v in_o explain_v the_o nature_n of_o this_o seed_n and_o the_o manner_n of_o manner_n be_v look_v upon_o in_o general_a it_o be_v nothing_o else_o but_o a_o medium_fw-la dispose_v by_o god_n to_o the_o propagation_n of_o these_o four_o several_a kind_n in_o the_o world_n so_o that_o one_o substance_n as_o to_o its_o kind_n produce_v its_o like_a in_o the_o same_o kind_n as_o metal_n be_v produce_v from_o metal_n and_o a_o plant_n from_o another_o plant_n etc._n etc._n from_o whence_o appear_v the_o fanciful_a folly_n of_o chemist_n who_o strive_v to_o multiply_v metal_n without_o a_o mettallick_n seed_n and_o to_o produce_v gold_n without_o its_o peculiar_a seed_n
