ceremony_n with_o general_a alm_n and_o charity_n to_o all_o there_o present_a that_o stand_v in_o need_n of_o they_o ethiopian_n the_o ethiopian_n be_v wont_a to_o accompany_v their_o dead_a to_o the_o grave_a with_o divers_a prayer_n which_o they_o rehearse_v without_o sing_v hisp_n and_o when_o the_o corpse_n be_v set_v down_o on_o the_o side_n of_o the_o grave_a they_o read_v over_o it_o the_o gospel_n of_o s._n john_n the_o next_o day_n they_o begin_v to_o distribute_v many_o alm_n for_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o soul_n and_o so_o continue_v for_o the_o space_n of_o eight_o day_n during_o which_o they_o splendid_o treat_v and_o feast_v the_o relation_n and_o friend_n of_o the_o decease_a feast_n in_o which_o feast_n their_o whole_a discourse_n be_v concern_v the_o dead_a speak_v of_o his_o good_a work_n if_o his_o life_n have_v be_v exemplary_a or_o of_o his_o repentance_n if_o he_o have_v be_v a_o great_a sinner_n and_o be_v at_o last_o convert_v of_o god_n mercy_n
