you_o do_v then_o enjoy_v they_o as_o blessing_n if_o you_o think_v you_o may_v have_v comfort_n without_o they_o 3_o the_o ebb_a and_o flow_v of_o outward_a thing_n do_v not_o augment_v your_o comfort_n or_o diminish_v it_o those_o that_o have_v not_o any_o outward_a blessing_n may_v have_v more_o gladness_n and_o comfort_n in_o their_o heart_n than_o those_o who_o corn_n and_o wine_n be_v inward_a comfort_n and_o delight_n many_o there_o be_v who_o like_o paul_n &_o the_o apostle_n seem_v to_o have_v nothing_o and_o yet_o possess_v all_o thing_n as_o it_o be_v all_o one_o with_o god_n to_o help_v with_o few_o or_o with_o many_o so_o he_o can_v comfort_v with_o few_o friend_n and_o external_a blessing_n as_o well_o as_o with_o many_o yea_o he_o can_v make_v a_o little_a which_o the_o righteous_a have_v more_o comfortable_a than_o all_o the_o revenue_n of_o the_o ungodly_a be_v they_o never_o so_o great_a that_o which_o have_v be_v say_v of_o blessing_n the_o like_a also_o may_v be_v say_v of_o cross_n you_o may_v grieve_v for_o they_o if_o you_o take_v they_o as_o cross_n but_o withal_o take_v heed_n that_o you_o account_v not_o those_o thing_n cross_n which_o indeed_o be_v no_o cross_n want_n be_v no_o cross_n to_o paul_n nor_o yet_o imprisonment_n for_o in_o the_o one_o he_o abound_v in_o the_o other_o he_o sing_v it_o be_v advantage_n unto_o we_o sometime_o to_o have_v outward_a blessing_n take_v from_o we_o it_o be_v advantage_n for_o we_o to_o have_v blood_n take_v away_o in_o a_o pleurisy_n it_o be_v good_a sometime_o to_o lop_v tree_n that_o so_o they_o may_v bring_v forth_o more_o fruit_n so_o it_o be_v good_a for_o we_o many_o time_n to_o have_v cross_n for_o to_o humble_v we_o and_o to_o bring_v we_o near_o unto_o god_n yet_o we_o may_v sorrow_n for_o the_o loss_n of_o those_o thing_n and_o take_v it_o as_o a_o cross_n if_o you_o can_v say_v this_o from_o your_o heart_n that_o you_o be_v not_o afflict_v because_o you_o be_v make_v poor_a because_o your_o wealth_n be_v take_v from_o you_o but_o because_o it_o be_v god_n pleasure_n to_o take_v it_o away_o from_o you_o either_o for_o the_o abuse_n of_o it_o or_o else_o to_o punish_v you_o for_o some_o other_o sin_n so_o that_o if_o you_o be_v cast_v into_o some_o sickness_n you_o may_v not_o grieve_v for_o it_o as_o a_o cross_n mere_o as_o it_o be_v a_o sickness_n but_o as_o you_o conceive_v the_o hand_n of_o god_n in_o it_o lay_v it_o on_o you_o as_o a_o punishment_n foryour_fw-mi sin_n the_o second_o let_v and_o deceit_n be_v the_o present_a sense_n deceit_n and_o whatsoever_o you_o say_v to_o the_o contrary_a be_v but_o in_o vain_a and_o to_o no_o purpose_n to_o this_o i_o answer_v that_o you_o must_v not_o judge_v of_o thing_n according_a to_o sense_n for_o that_o tell_v you_o that_o they_o be_v but_o vanity_n of_o vanity_n all_o be_v but_o vanity_n second_o consider_v the_o judgement_n of_o other_o concern_v they_o who_o have_v be_v on_o the_o stage_n of_o affliction_n 2_o and_o have_v abound_v in_o good_a work_n while_o they_o live_v but_o be_v now_o go_v thirdlie_o consider_v what_o you_o will_v judge_v of_o they_o at_o the_o day_n of_o death_n than_o man_n be_v awake_v and_o see_v 3_o these_o thing_n as_o they_o be_v indeed_o and_o then_o they_o bemoan_v themselves_o that_o they_o have_v spend_v so_o much_o time_n in_o seek_v after_o
