devil_n let_v we_o make_v sin_n therefore_o as_o loathsome_a as_o we_o can_v and_o then_o we_o shall_v hate_v it_o and_o let_v we_o present_v it_o to_o our_o soul_n as_o the_o most_o dangerous_a thing_n of_o all_o the_o ill_a of_o ill_n which_o bring_v all_o other_o evil_n upon_o we_o this_o may_v appear_v more_o ugly_a in_o our_o sight_n in_o that_o the_o foulness_n thereof_o can_v not_o and_o carnal_a disposition_n of_o we_o so_o opposite_a to_o all_o goodness_n god_n have_v appoint_v to_o punish_v it_o with_o eternal_a separation_n from_o his_o presence_n it_o make_v god_n hate_v his_o own_o creature_n go_v you_o curse_v into_o everlasting_a fire_n 25.41_o mat._n 25.41_o prepare_v for_o the_o devil_n and_o his_o angel_n sinner_n 3._o we_o must_v consider_v the_o dangerous_a from_o this_o hatred_n a_o reformation_n of_o it_o with_o zeal_n and_o indignation_n therefore_o let_v we_o labour_n more_o and_o more_o for_o this_o temper_n of_o soul_n that_o we_o may_v be_v like_o god_n and_o carry_v the_o character_n of_o the_o child_n of_o god_n in_o we_o there_o be_v no_o affection_n will_v distinguish_v we_o from_o hypocrite_n more_o than_o hatred_n which_o come_v of_o love_n which_o be_v the_o first_o bear_v and_o breed_a affection_n of_o all_o other_o for_o why_o do_v we_o hate_v any_o thing_n but_o because_o it_o be_v opposite_a to_o that_o we_o love_n why_o do_v we_o hate_v ill_a but_o because_o it_o be_v opposite_a to_o god_n and_o to_o christ_n who_o we_o love_v among_o other_o take_v we_o along_o this_o consideration_n with_o we_o that_o it_o be_v the_o spear_n which_o wound_v our_o bless_a saviour_n and_o that_o it_o be_v that_o he_o hate_v most_o which_o we_o love_v most_o consider_v the_o holiness_n of_o god_n that_o he_o will_v punish_v it_o in_o his_o own_o son_n ere_o it_o shall_v not_o be_v punish_v comfort_n 4._o we_o must_v consider_v it_o be_v the_o bane_n of_o all_o our_o comfort_n and_o consider_v that_o it_o be_v the_o bane_n of_o all_o our_o comfort_n this_o which_o we_o so_o cherish_v and_o that_o it_o imbitter_v all_o thing_n to_o we_o we_o can_v rejoice_v no_o not_o in_o the_o good_a blessing_n of_o god_n whilst_o we_o be_v guilty_a of_o sin_n 66.18_o psal_n 66.18_o neither_o can_v we_o pray_v comfortable_o whilst_o our_o heart_n regard_v it_o in_o this_o case_n that_o which_o shall_v rejoice_v the_o heart_n communion_n with_o god_n 50.16_o psal_n 50.16_o be_v terrible_a to_o we_o what_o have_v i_o to_o do_v to_o take_v his_o name_n in_o my_o mouth_n when_o i_o embrace_v such_o sin_n the_o day_n of_o judgement_n be_v terrible_a also_o for_o how_o can_v a_o man_n think_v comfortable_o thereof_o if_o therewith_o he_o expect_v a_o heavy_a doom_n for_o his_o sin_n he_o live_v in_o so_o we_o may_v say_v of_o the_o be_v a_o great_a deal_n of_o sin_n and_o atheism_n in_o our_o heart_n when_o we_o can_v think_v comfortable_o of_o they_o for_o either_o we_o believe_v not_o these_o thing_n and_o so_o be_v plain_a atheist_n or_o else_o if_o we_o believe_v they_o we_o be_v exceed_v foolish_a to_o loose_v future_a joy_n for_o the_o poor_a pleasure_n of_o sin_n for_o a_o season_n goodness_n 5._o we_o must_v grow_v in_o the_o love_n of_o grace_n and_o goodness_n let_v we_o labour_n to_o grow_v in_o grace_n more_o &_o more_o for_o the_o more_o we_o grow_v in_o the_o love_n of_o god_n and_o of_o of_o good_a thing_n the_o more_o we_o shall_v hate_v sin_n for_o whatsoever_o may_v be_v say_v for_o the_o growth_n of_o love_n &_o cherish_v of_o it_o to_o good_a thing_n the_o same_o may_v be_v say_v for_o 7.22_o and_o in_o thy_o name_n cast_v out_o devil_n and_o in_o thy_o name_n do_v many_o wonderful_a work_n and_o yet_o christ_n profess_v not_o to_o know_v they_o but_o call_v they_o worker_n of_o for_o a_o sin_n confess_v it_o and_o desire_v the_o lord_n to_o pardon_v and_o subdue_v it_o and_o then_o it_o shall_v never_o be_v lay_v to_o their_o charge_n because_o have_v of_o infirmity_n be_v not_o contrary_a to_o sincerity_n but_o allow_v of_o they_o and_o live_v in_o they_o in_o which_o case_n the_o lord_n be_v more_o please_v with_o our_o humiliation_n for_o our_o sin_n than_o the_o
