therefore_o so_o long_o as_o he_o sit_v upon_o his_o throne_n he_o will_v scatter_v away_o every_o evil_a thing_n as_o it_o be_v say_v prov._n 20.8_o a_o king_n that_o sit_v on_o his_o throne_n of_o judgement_n seatter_v away_o all_o evil_n with_o his_o eye_n etc._n etc._n let_v what_o enemy_n there_o will_v arise_v they_o shall_v fall_v by_o the_o thunder_a and_o lightning_n and_o voice_n that_o come_v from_o this_o throne_n second_o against_o god_n own_o people_n for_o his_o throne_n be_v establish_v by_o righteousness_n and_o therefore_o he_o will_v not_o spare_v his_o own_o people_n when_o he_o be_v in_o the_o middle_n of_o they_o but_o as_o he_o do_v delight_v himself_o in_o their_o grace_n and_o therefore_o love_v to_o be_v in_o the_o middle_n of_o they_o so_o he_o will_v punish_v their_o corruption_n also_o and_o there_o be_v some_o spiritual_a judgement_n for_o they_o also_o rev._n 2.4,5_o yet_o i_o have_v something_o against_o thou_o because_o thou_o have_v lose_v thy_o first_o love_n and_o i_o will_v come_v against_o thou_o quick_o except_o thou_o repent_v and_o will_v remove_v thy_o candlestick_n from_o thou_o which_o be_v the_o great_a spiritual_a judgement_n that_o can_v befall_v a_o people_n that_o though_o they_o that_o be_v godly_a shall_v continue_v godly_a still_o and_o they_o can_v never_o be_v cast_v out_o of_o the_o number_n of_o the_o invisible_a church_n yet_o they_o shall_v be_v look_v upon_o as_o a_o visible_a church_n unto_o christ_n no_o more_o but_o he_o will_v take_v away_o the_o ordinance_n and_o will_v depart_v from_o they_o and_o they_o shall_v fade_v away_o in_o their_o iniquity_n and_o so_o for_o temporal_a judgement_n also_o as_o sickness_n yea_o and_o temporal_a death_n it_o be_v a_o sentence_n that_o the_o lord_n jesus_n do_v pronounce_v from_o his_o throne_n 1_o cor._n 11.30_o for_o this_o cause_n many_o of_o you_o be_v sick_a and_o weak_a &_o many_o of_o you_o fall_v asleep_a &_o yet_o they_o be_v therein_o chastise_v of_o the_o lord_n that_o they_o may_v not_o be_v condemn_v with_o the_o world_n it_o be_v do_v in_o mercy_n and_o not_o in_o wrath_n in_o much_o compassion_n unto_o their_o soul_n do_v the_o lord_n lie_v affliction_n upon_o their_o body_n yea_o even_o unto_o death_n itself_o for_o they_o that_o be_v embrace_v with_o everlasting_a love_a kindness_n may_v sometime_o die_v under_o a_o temporal_a displeasure_n as_o it_o seem_v josiah_n do_v and_o so_o have_v many_o other_o saint_n use_v first_o be_v exhort_v to_o see_v christ_n as_o present_v upon_o the_o throne_n for_o without_o this_o you_o come_v not_o to_o he_o but_o unto_o the_o duty_n he_o do_v call_v unto_o you_o behold_v i_o behold_v i_o that_o worship_n that_o be_v terminate_v in_o any_o thing_n below_o he_o be_v a_o false_a worship_n and_o that_o faith_n also_o that_o do_v not_o raise_v the_o soul_n up_o to_o he_o be_v a_o feign_a faith_n but_o what_o be_v the_o sign_n of_o his_o presence_n how_o shall_v a_o man_n know_v whether_o he_o be_v present_a or_o no_o these_o three_o thing_n be_v premise_v you_o may_v try_v whether_o you_o have_v ever_o find_v he_o thus_o present_a etc._n etc._n first_o the_o lord_n be_v present_a unto_o no_o unregenerat_a man_n in_o their_o duty_n they_o that_o live_v without_o god_n do_v pray_v without_o god_n and_o they_o fast_o without_o god_n therefore_o they_o must_v first_o desire_v his_o presence_n unto_o their_o conversion_n for_o as_o i_o have_v often_o tell_v you_o a_o unregenerate_a man_n service_n be_v no_o more_o accept_v by_o god_n then_o when_o he_o swear_v or_o lie_v etc._n etc._n for_o his_o service_n proceed_v from_o the_o same_o principle_n that_o his_o sin_n do_v etc._n etc._n second_o god_n be_v not_o always_o present_a unto_o the_o saint_n but_o he_o do_v sometime_o withdraw_v himself_o as_o the_o spouse_n complain_v my_o belove_a have_v withdraw_v himself_o they_o seek_v he_o but_o they_o find_v he_o not_o he_o do_v hide_v his_o face_n and_o he_o do_v cover_v himself_o with_o a_o cloud_n that_o though_o they_o seek_v the_o lord_n yet_o he_o be_v a_o stranger_n unto_o they_o if_o they_o walk_v in_o the_o way_n of_o sin_n etc._n etc._n three_o even_o when_o he_o be_v present_a to_o the_o saint_n yet_o he_o be_v not_o present_a to_o all_o of_o they_o in_o the_o same_o measure_n some_o have_v a_o full_a presence_n of_o god_n and_o a_o clear_a discovery_n as_o some_o have_v a_o clear_a revelation_n of_o his_o mind_n so_o some_o have_v a_o clear_a discovery_n of_o his_o presence_n than_o other_o in_o this_o life_n and_o it_o be_v so_o with_o the_o saint_n even_o in_o glory_n that_o they_o behold_v his_o face_n continual_o yet_o they_o have_v divers_a degree_n of_o glory_n some_o have_v a_o more_o full_a and_o perfect_a discovery_n of_o god_n than_o other_o have_v when_o god_n be_v present_a to_o the_o saint_n here_o first_o the_o heart_n will_v be_v overawe_v there_o be_v nothing_o will_v over_o awe_n the_o heart_n but_o god_n presence_n how_o dreadful_a be_v this_o place_n say_v jacob_n he_o have_v a_o discovery_n of_o god_n to_o he_o as_o present_v with_o he_o and_o it_o make_v the_o very_a place_n fearful_a to_o he_o the_o heart_n of_o man_n be_v very_o fearless_a of_o god_n natural_o when_o a_o man_n do_v come_v into_o the_o presence_n of_o god_n without_o consideration_n and_o go_v out_o of_o his_o presence_n without_o fear_n it_o be_v a_o sign_n that_o god_n be_v not_o present_a second_o if_o god_n be_v present_a thy_o heart_n will_v be_v carry_v out_o to_o loathe_v thyself_o for_o he_o that_o see_v god_n in_o his_o glory_n will_v sure_o abhor_v himself_o in_o dust_n and_o ash_n job_n 42.5,6_o and_o will_v see_v himself_o undo_v there_o be_v no_o soul_n that_o ever_o enjoy_v the_o presence_n of_o god_n but_o it_o make_v he_o nothing_o of_o himself_o and_o so_o do_v the_o glorious_a angel_n in_o heaven_n god_n be_v all_o in_o all_o unto_o they_o and_o they_o be_v in_o themselves_o nothing_o three_o if_o the_o lord_n be_v present_a with_o thou_o thy_o heart_n will_v fall_v in_o love_n with_o he_o and_o thou_o will_v be_v carry_v out_o in_o admiration_n of_o he_o when_o a_o man_n see_v the_o beauty_n of_o god_n and_o his_o glory_n in_o the_o sanctuary_n a_o man_n will_v dwell_v there_o for_o ever_o he_o will_v dwell_v in_o the_o house_n of_o the_o lord_n all_o the_o day_n of_o his_o life_n converse_v with_o god_n and_o he_o will_v not_o be_v weary_a but_o it_o be_v wearisome_a to_o converse_v with_o duty_n only_o moses_n be_v not_o weary_a when_o he_o be_v in_o the_o mount_n
