be_v perceive_v by_o divers_a people_n which_o vaunt_n or_o give_v forth_o themselves_o for_o christian_n and_o as_o illuminate_v man_n that_o a_o be_v master_n of_o the_o scripture_n namely_o how_o crafty_a subtle_a and_o a._n perverse_a of_o heart_n and_o how_o b_o darken_v in_o their_o understanding_n that_o they_o yet_o be_v 5._o and_o what_o a_o perverse_a nature_n they_o find_v oftentimes_o in_o they_o that_o will_v i_o good_a willing_o leave_v unto_o themselves_o to_o consider_v of_o to_o the_o end_n that_o if_o the_o lord_n vouchsafe_v the_o same_o they_o may_v judge_v themselves_o therein_o and_o even_o so_o understand_v or_o well_o perceive_v that_o no_o man_n how_o wise_a or_o understanding_n soever_o he_o be_v in_o the_o knowledge_n of_o the_o scripture_n can_v by_o any_o mean_n comprehend_v or_o understand_v b_o the_o wisdom_n of_o god_n nor_o yet_o b._n see_v know_v find_v nor_o receive_v the_o gift_n of_o god_n nor_o the_o power_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n but_o only_o they_o that_o stand_v good_a willing_o and_o obedient_o b_o submit_v under_o the_o word_n of_o life_n which_o proceed_v and_o have_v his_o outflowing_a from_o the_o quarter_n or_o place_n where_o the_o sun_n the_o true_a a._n day_n light_n of_o the_o most_o high_a shine_v 6_o for_o that_o cause_n consider_v now_o well_o on_o the_o state_n of_o man_n and_o what_o a_o nature_n love_n and_o be_v there_o be_v find_v by_o they_o that_o be_v without_o the_o communality_n of_o the_o love_n be_v out_o of_o their_o own_o knowledge_n and_o scripture_n learnedness_n judge_n of_o the_o scripture_n or_o that_o have_v take_v the_o same_o upon_o they_o so_o shall_v you_o then_o certain_o perceive_v that_o all_o such_o be_v yet_o b._n stranger_n unto_o the_o holy_a spirit_n of_o the_o love_n of_o jesus_n christ_n and_o that_o they_o all_o likewise_o be_v mingle_v with_o wyliness_n subtlety_n and_o falsehood_n and_o be_v without_o the_o body_n c_o of_o christ_n or_o without_o the_o upright_a christianity_n 7._o if_o then_o these_o which_o notwithstanding_o seem_v to_o be_v wise_a and_o understanding_n and_o can_v prate_v much_o of_o spiritual_a and_o heavenly_a thing_n be_v yet_o stranger_n unto_o the_o holy_a spirit_n and_o unto_o the_o true_a love_n and_o utter_o without_o the_o body_n of_o christ_n or_o the_o true_a christianity_n and_o hold_v captive_a with_o a_o wicked_a nature_n so_o consider_v then_o how_o wide_a and_o far_o estrange_v that_o the_o brutish_a world_n and_o all_o that_o be_v enemy_n or_o resister_n of_o the_o doctrine_n of_o love_n must_v yet_o needs_o be_v from_o the_o same_o christian_a being_n and_o with_o how_o many_o manner_n of_o falsehood_n and_o wicked_a nature_n they_o be_v yet_o hold_v captive_a 8._o if_o you_o now_o ponder_v this_o same_o according_a to_o the_o truth_n and_o thorough_o measure_v it_o all_o by_o the_o be_v of_o upright_a christianity_n so_o shall_v you_o then_o very_o begin_v well_o to_o perceive_v that_o it_o be_v now_o the_o dangerous_a and_o horrible_a time_n of_o desolation_n whereof_o a._n the_o scripture_n in_o many_o place_n witness_v in_o which_o also_o few_o shall_v be_v save_v or_o preserve_v for_o that_o all_o understanding_n have_v now_o so_o utter_o b_o corrupt_v his_o way_n in_o the_o knowledge_n and_o can_v well_o therefore_o a_o submit_v itself_o single_a mind_o with_o humbleness_n of_o heart_n in_o all_o b._n obedience_n of_o the_o word_n and_o subjection_n unto_o the_o love_n with_o we_o little_a one_o and_o god_n his_o elect_a 9_o whilst_o we_o now_o daily_o perceive_v this_o same_n by_o the_o child_n of_o man_n and_o that_o we_o be_v in_o these_o dangerous_a time_n become_v great_a with_o child_n a._n with_o the_o word_n of_o life_n and_o milch_n with_o b._n the_o breast_n of_o the_o love_n and_o of_o the_o holy_a understanding_n for_o to_o give_v suck_v therewithal_o unto_o the_o young_a child_n which_o be_v bear_v out_o of_o the_o seed_n of_o the_o gracious_a word_n and_o his_o doctrine_n or_o testimony_n and_o out_o of_o the_o service_n of_o the_o holy_a spirit_n of_o the_o love_n and_o to_o nourish_v they_o up_o unto_o the_o b._n old_a age_n of_o the_o holy_a understanding_n of_o christ_n so_o come_v now_o very_o that_o woe_n upon_o we_o whereof_o christ_n have_v heretofore_o 24._o speak_v woe_n unto_o they_o that_o be_v with_o child_n and_o to_o they_o that_o give_v suck_v at_o that_o time_n etc._n etc._n 10._o for_o we_o be_v
