they_o choose_v be_v by_o conference_n wherein_o they_o make_v use_v of_o a_o visible_a creature_n and_o the_o ground_n of_o their_o conference_n be_v to_o bring_v man_n into_o jealousy_n of_o god_n their_o drift_n be_v to_o persuade_v man_n that_o the_o tree_n which_o be_v forbid_v to_o man_n be_v deny_v out_o of_o a_o envy_n of_o man_n preferment_n for_o there_o be_v in_o that_o tree_n say_v they_o such_o a_o supereminent_a knowledge_n that_o it_o can_v equal_v man_n with_o god_n and_o make_v man_n to_o become_v a_o god_n unto_o himself_o and_o lest_o fear_n shall_v be_v a_o hindrance_n and_o the_o body_n for_o the_o most_o part_n tune_v and_o guide_v the_o soul_n thus_o the_o image_n of_o god_n in_o man_n be_v reverse_a and_o deface_v he_o answer_v not_o he_o look_v not_o any_o long_o to_o god_n he_o neither_o love_v he_o neither_o be_v love_v of_o he_o man_n be_v become_v a_o stranger_n to_o god_n &_o god_n to_o man_n and_o hence_o it_o come_v that_o there_o be_v at_o with_o he_o but_o that_o only_a which_o put_v away_o all_o glory_n from_o itself_o unto_o god_n it_o be_v a_o piece_n of_o man_n foolish_a wisdom_n to_o adorn_v the_o creator_n with_o the_o glory_n of_o the_o creature_n but_o it_o be_v god_n most_o true_a and_o high_a wisdom_n to_o give_v light_n unto_o darkness_n power_n to_o weakness_n glory_n to_o baseness_n it_o be_v the_o glory_n of_o the_o sun_n to_o give_v light_n to_o the_o dark_a and_o un-shining_a body_n of_o the_o moon_n but_o it_o be_v a_o foolish_a glory_n for_o the_o sun_n to_o borrow_v those_o inferior_a and_o bestow_v beam_n of_o the_o moon_n to_o deck_v himself_o withal_o in_o his_o progress_n let_v man_n therefore_o take_v heed_n that_o they_o be_v not_o so_o wise_a as_o to_o amend_v the_o most_o unmatchable_a pattern_n of_o a_o saviour_n &_o redeemer_n since_o if_o they_o do_v so_o their_o wisdom_n must_v needs_o be_v folly_n for_o they_o shall_v find_v that_o their_o amend_v will_v make_v worse_o &_o they_o shall_v diminish_v god_n honour_n by_o the_o same_o mean_n by_o which_o they_o think_v to_o increase_v it_o but_o be_v it_o the_o joy_n of_o our_o heart_n fix_v and_o unremovable_a that_o god_n have_v give_v we_o so_o full_a and_o perfect_a a_o mean_n of_o restore_v we_o to_o our_o duty_n and_o felicity_n and_o of_o free_v we_o from_o corruption_n and_o misery_n turn_v we_o back_o our_o face_n from_o ourselves_o and_o all_o thing_n visible_a and_o look_v we_o up_o unto_o god_n lead_v we_o by_o god_n unto_o god_n and_o that_o by_o the_o service_n of_o man_n unite_v unto_o god_n in_o this_o man-god_n be_v the_o remedy_n of_o all_o whereof_o we_o can_v complain_v and_o the_o supply_n of_o all_o that_o we_o can_v desire_v so_o be_v he_o a_o refuge_n from_o misery_n a_o
