great_a grace_n of_o christ_n who_o do_v so_o near_o unite_v himself_o with_o us._n king_n in_o earth_n the_o near_o they_o come_v to_o any_o subject_n the_o more_o they_o show_v their_o love_n but_o this_o be_v the_o great_a grace_n they_o can_v show_v when_o they_o make_v themselves_o to_o become_v one_o with_o any_o of_o their_o subject_n thus_o christ_n can_v not_o show_v we_o great_a grace_n then_o to_o make_v we_o one_o with_o himself_o as_o a_o conjugal_a head_n rule_v over_o us._n we_o see_v hence_o that_o we_o may_v assure_v ourselves_o we_o shall_v lack_v nothing_o who_o have_v christ_n become_v a_o head_n to_o we_o in_o so_o near_o and_o communicative_a sort_n as_o this_o be_v there_o be_v some_o official_a part_n in_o the_o body_n which_o have_v that_o they_o have_v not_o for_o themselves_o only_o but_o for_o the_o whole_a body_n thus_o the_o stomach_n have_v meat_n the_o liver_n blood_n such_o be_v the_o head_n now_o it_o be_v a_o unnatural_a part_n for_o these_o to_o keep_v that_o they_o have_v to_o themselves_o as_o for_o the_o liver_n to_o keep_v in_o all_o the_o blood_n and_o not_o impart_v it_o by_o vein_n to_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o body_n so_o christ_n who_o can_v do_v nothing_o which_o do_v not_o beseem_v he_o he_o have_v for_o all_o of_o we_o the_o fullness_n of_o grace_n and_o glory_n according_a to_o that_o psal_n 16.2_o my_o good_a be_v for_o the_o saint_n he_o can_v but_o be_v most_o ready_a to_o communicate_v with_o we_o every_o thing_n that_o be_v good_a only_o let_v we_o renew_v our_o faith_n and_o repentance_n that_o so_o we_o stop_v not_o the_o passage_n of_o this_o spirit_n from_o he_o our_o head_n if_o the_o natural_a head_n of_o the_o natural_a body_n be_v never_o so_o full_a of_o spirit_n if_o the_o vessel_n which_o convey_v it_o be_v once_o obstruct_v as_o in_o the_o palsy_n the_o body_n than_o be_v without_o sense_n and_o motion_n we_o may_v apply_v it_o to_o ourselves_o etc._n etc._n observe_v second_o that_o he_o say_v
this_o our_o head_n be_v over_o all_o whence_o note_n that_o god_n of_o his_o grace_n have_v not_o only_o give_v we_o a_o head_n but_o such_o a_o head_n to_o who_o all_o thing_n be_v subject_a he_o who_o must_v be_v a_o save_a head_n to_o we_o there_o be_v great_a need_n he_o shall_v be_v over_o all_o can_v he_o not_o bind_v that_o strong_a one_o and_o cause_v he_o redeliver_v his_o possession_n be_v and_o ergo_fw-la it_o be_v so_o say_v the_o body_n that_o christ_n who_o be_v the_o head_n of_o this_o body_n be_v distinguish_v from_o it_o now_o the_o multitude_n of_o believer_n be_v fit_o so_o call_v for_o as_o in_o a_o body_n be_v diverse_a member_n have_v their_o several_a faculty_n for_o the_o good_a use_n of_o the_o whole_a so_o in_o the_o church_n there_o be_v diverse_a kind_n of_o member_n some_o teach_v some_o teach_n some_o govern_v some_o govern_v some_o distribute_v yea_o every_o member_n have_v as_o it_o be_v his_o distinct_a grace_n whereby_o he_o may_v serve_v to_o the_o good_a of_o the_o whole_a but_o for_o further_a clear_v of_o this_o i_o will_v show_v who_o be_v of_o already_o and_o belong_v to_o this_o body_n second_o in_o what_o regard_n every_o believer_n may_v be_v say_v a_o member_n of_o the_o body_n of_o christ_n to_o the_o first_o i_o answer_v that_o those_o only_o be_v his_o body_n who_o be_v so_o join_v to_o he_o or_o be_v by_o god_n effectual_a forth_o in_o us._n last_o every_o faithful_a soul_n be_v govern_v by_o christ_n outward_o and_o inward_o as_o a_o member_n of_o the_o body_n by_o the_o head_n the_o head_n do_v not_o only_o show_v have_v none_o for_o a_o head_n but_o they_o be_v a_o body_n to_o that_o person_n then_o sure_o they_o have_v not_o the_o pope_n for_o their_o head_n in_o any_o property_n of_o speech_n or_o they_o must_v as_o proper_o be_v say_v the_o body_n of_o the_o pope_n yet_o papist_n who_o make_v no_o doubt_n to_o use_v the_o other_o phrase_n strain_v courtesy_n here_o and_o will_v not_o say_v the_o church_n be_v the_o body_n of_o the_o pope_n but_o they_o may_v as_o well_o confident_o say_v this_o man_n be_v father_n to_o this_o child_n and_o yet_o be_v afraid_a to_o say_v this_o child_n be_v son_n to_o such_o a_o man_n use_v 2_o
