they_o understand_v they_o not_o this_o i_o know_v by_o experience_n but_o as_o i_o say_v before_o as_o there_o be_v a_o twofold_a state_n in_o one_o god_n so_o likewise_o there_o be_v two_o lords-day_n as_o aforesaid_a yet_o but_o one_o god_n but_o the_o meaning_n of_o john_n when_o he_o say_v he_o be_v in_o the_o spirit_n on_o the_o lord_n day_n i_o declare_v his_o meaning_n be_v the_o day_n of_o christ_n resurrection_n and_o this_o he_o call_v the_o lordsday_n that_o be_v it_o be_v the_o day_n of_o god_n rise_v from_o death_n to_o life_n in_o that_o death_n be_v not_o able_a to_o keep_v he_o under_o for_o death_n do_v keep_v every_o creature_n under_o it_o neither_o can_v any_o creature_n nor_o son_n of_o god_n overcome_v death_n but_o god_n himself_o therefore_o christ_n must_v needs_o be_v god_n the_o father_n of_o all_o life_n in_o that_o he_o give_v life_n to_o all_o creature_n in_o his_o creation_n and_o nothing_o can_v procure_v by_o his_o death_n a_o resurrection_n of_o a_o new_a life_n and_o a_o eternal_a redemption_n but_o the_o blood_n and_o death_n of_o god_n himself_o therefore_o let_v the_o seed_n of_o faith_n lie_v as_o much_o trust_n upon_o the_o blood_n of_o christ_n believe_v it_o to_o be_v the_o blood_n of_o god_n as_o they_o can_v the_o more_o weight_n they_o lie_v upon_o it_o the_o more_o peace_n and_o satisfaction_n they_o shall_v find_v so_o on_o the_o contrary_a those_o that_o deny_v and_o call_v it_o blasphemy_n for_o a_o man_n to_o say_v that_o god_n do_v die_v i_o say_v there_o be_v no_o salvation_n for_o such_o a_o man_n neither_o will_v he_o find_v any_o benefit_n by_o the_o blood_n of_o christ_n because_o he_o look_v upon_o it_o to_o be_v but_o the_o blood_n of_o the_o humane_a nature_n or_o the_o blood_n of_o a_o man_n notwithstanding_o the_o scripture_n be_v so_o full_a to_o prove_v that_o christ_n be_v god_n and_o christ_n he_o die_v therefore_o god_n do_v die_v and_o this_o
in_o his_o right_a hand_n and_o no_o man_n in_o heaven_n nor_o in_o earth_n can_v open_v it_o nor_o read_v it_o there_o be_v cause_n enough_o for_o john_n to_o weep_v because_o that_o book_n be_v the_o book_n of_o life_n and_o many_o thousand_o and_o million_o of_o soul_n be_v write_v in_o that_o book_n as_o he_o afterward_o make_v mention_n of_o and_o many_o that_o have_v suffer_v this_o book_n shall_v not_o have_v be_v open_v the_o condition_n of_o the_o saint_n will_v have_v be_v sad_a which_o suffer_v all_o those_o thing_n for_o the_o name_n of_o jesus_n who_o love_v not_o their_o life_n unto_o death_n who_o have_v their_o name_n record_v in_o the_o book_n of_o life_n that_o at_o the_o general_a day_n of_o god_n account_n when_o he_o shall_v make_v up_o his_o jewel_n their_o name_n be_v write_v in_o the_o book_n of_o life_n they_o may_v have_v that_o bless_a reward_n which_o god_n do_v promise_v and_o they_o do_v faithful_o believe_v and_o expect_v but_o if_o god_n the_o son_n he_o be_v call_v a_o lamb._n and_o as_o he_o be_v god_n the_o son_n he_o suffer_v death_n to_o redeem_v his_o people_n and_o as_o he_o be_v a_o redeemer_n he_o have_v prevail_v to_o open_v the_o book_n and_o to_o loose_v the_o seven_o seal_n thereof_o that_o be_v as_o he_o be_v the_o redeemer_n he_o have_v power_n to_o raise_v every_o one_o of_o they_o again_o that_o be_v write_v in_o the_o book_n of_o life_n that_o be_v all_o the_o seed_n of_o faith_n which_o be_v elect_v in_o the_o secret_a decree_n and_o council_n of_o god_n as_o he_o be_v the_o creator_n and_o as_o he_o be_v the_o redeemer_n he_o have_v power_n to_o give_v life_n everlasting_a to_o every_o one_o of_o the_o seed_n of_o faith_n who_o be_v write_v in_o the_o book_n of_o life_n and_o when_o john_n see_v there_o be_v one_o find_v in_o heaven_n that_o can_v open_v the_o book_n he_o give_v over_o weep_v for_o one_o of_o the_o elder_n have_v show_v he_o in_o the_o vision_n one_o that_o can_v open_v the_o book_n and_o looâ—e_v the_o seven_o seal_n thereof_o for_o in_o the_o 6_o verse_n john_n behold_v and_o lo_o in_o the_o midst_n of_o the_o throne_n and_o of_o the_o four_o beast_n and_o in_o the_o midst_n of_o the_o elder_n stand_v a_o lamb_n as_o it_o have_v be_v slay_v have_v seven_o horn_n and_o seven_o eye_n which_o be_v the_o seven_o spirit_n of_o god_n send_v forth_o into_o all_o the_o the_o scripture_n will_v confess_v it_o now_o observe_v that_o this_o lamb_n which_o stand_v as_o it_o have_v be_v slay_v it_o be_v no_o other_o than_o god_n himself_o for_o this_o lamb_n have_v seven_o horn_n and_o seven_o eye_n now_o these_o seven_o horn_n which_o the_o lamb_n have_v it_o be_v the_o faith_n and_o patience_n which_o the_o seven_o church_n of_o asia_n have_v which_o do_v enable_v they_o to_o go_v through_o their_o suffering_n with_o cheerfulness_n for_o when_o a_o man_n do_v suffer_v for_o his_o faith_n in_o god_n patient_o and_o willing_o he_o destroy_v his_o enemy_n more_o in_o submit_v unto_o suffering_n or_o death_n itself_o than_o if_o he_o shall_v resist_v his_o enemy_n and_o this_o do_v become_v a_o horn_n to_o push_v the_o persecutor_n soul_n thus_o it_o be_v with_o the_o seven_o church_n of_o asia_n they_o be_v by_o their_o faith_n and_o patience_n make_v able_a to_o suffer_v persecution_n and_o death_n itself_o which_o become_v as_o seven_o horn_n to_o push_n and_o gall_v the_o soul_n of_o their_o persecutor_n for_o though_o the_o horn_n of_o a_o lamb_n do_v but_o little_a harm_n to_o the_o outward_a flesh_n yet_o when_o they_o get_v within_o the_o flesh_n they_o will_v gall_v very_o much_o that_o be_v when_o the_o horn_n of_o suffer_v for_o righteousness_n get_v into_o the_o mind_n and_o soul_n of_o the_o persecutor_n it_o do_v gall_v his_o soul_n exceed_o with_o the_o fear_n of_o eternal_a damnation_n this_o i_o think_v experience_n will_v show_v the_o truth_n of_o it_o for_o the_o quaker_n and_o other_o which_o suffer_v for_o a_o lie_n yet_o they_o think_v they_o suffer_v for_o truth_n and_o the_o persecutor_n know_v no_o other_o but_o that_o they_o do_v suffer_v for_o truth_n therefore_o the_o suffering_n of_o the_o quaker_n can_v choose_v but_o push_n and_o gall_v the_o persecutor_n conscience_n the_o quaker_n be_v so_o steadfast_a and_o confident_a in_o their_o way_n which_o do_v not_o fear_v their_o life_n unto_o the_o death_n this_o suffering_n of_o they_o do_v trouble_v and_o molest_v the_o mind_n of_o the_o civil_a power_n which_o do_v show_v that_o suffering_n in_o innocency_n though_o for_o a_o lie_n it_o will_v be_v a_o horn_n to_o push_v and_o gall_v the_o soul_n of_o the_o persecutor_n then_o how_o much_o more_o will_v they_o push_v and_o gall_n if_o they_o suffer_v for_o truth_n that_o be_v if_o their_o ministry_n which_o provoke_v they_o to_o meet_v contrary_a to_o the_o parliament_n order_n be_v true_a as_o the_o ministry_n of_o the_o seven_o church_n of_o asia_n be_v but_o it_o be_v not_o therefore_o they_o suffer_v for_o a_o lie_n yet_o the_o persecutor_n not_o know_v it_o he_o be_v and_o will_v be_v push_v and_o gall_v in_o his_o soul_n with_o the_o fear_n of_o eternal_a death_n for_o do_v it_o chap._n xiii_o now_o it_o be_v to_o observe_v that_o this_o lamb_n that_o be_v slay_v have_v the_o seven_o horn_n and_o the_o seven_o eye_n now_o these_o seven_o horn_n as_o i_o say_v before_o which_o the_o lamb_n have_v they_o be_v the_o suffering_n of_o the_o seven_o church_n of_o asia_n in_o the_o ten_o persecution_n according_a to_o that_o say_n of_o john_n revelation_n the_o second_o and_o the_o 10_o he_o give_v a_o exhortation_n to_o the_o church_n in_o smirna_n that_o they_o shall_v fear_v none_o of_o those_o thing_n which_o they_o shall_v suffer_v behold_v the_o devil_n shall_v cast_v some_o of_o you_o into_o prison_n that_o you_o may_v be_v try_v and_o you_o shall_v have_v tribulation_n ten_o day_n now_o this_o devil_n that_o shall_v cast_v some_o of_o they_o in_o prison_n i_o shall_v show_v what_o he_o be_v hereafter_o but_o as_o for_o the_o ten_o day_n tribulation_n which_o the_o saint_n shall_v suffer_v it_o be_v speak_v with_o relation_n to_o the_o ten_o persecution_n and_o they_o be_v call_v by_o the_o revelation_n of_o the_o spirit_n but_o ten_o day_n when_o as_o it_o be_v at_o time_n a_o matter_n of_o three_o hundred_o year_n that_o their_o tribulation_n do_v last_o which_o be_v the_o ten_o persecution_n yet_o call_v by_o the_o spirit_n but_o ten_o day_n tribulation_n and_o the_o faith_n and_o patience_n which_o these_o seven_o church_n of_o asia_n have_v be_v make_v able_a to_o suffer_v with_o cheerfulness_n those_o ten_o day_n tribulation_n it_o be_v the_o ten_o persecution_n aforesaid_a they_o be_v call_v the_o seven_o horn_n which_o the_o lamb_n have_v for_o they_o by_o their_o suffering_n do_v push_n and_o gall_v the_o soul_n of_o the_o persecutor_n as_o the_o lamb_n himself_o do_v when_o he_o do_v suffer_v death_n for_o he_o do_v procure_v no_o less_o than_o eternal_a damnation_n to_o his_o persecutor_n by_o his_o suffering_n
part_n of_o the_o earth_n so_o that_o some_o be_v so_o affright_v at_o death_n they_o shall_v kill_v with_o the_o sword_n and_o other_o again_o shall_v be_v so_o fearful_a of_o death_n that_o they_o shall_v starve_v themselves_o for_o hunger_n other_o again_o shall_v come_v under_o death_n by_o natural_a disease_n even_o as_o the_o beast_n of_o the_o earth_n die_v so_o that_o death_n that_o ride_v upon_o the_o pale_a horse_n have_v power_n give_v as_o long_o as_o this_o world_n do_v last_o over_o all_o flesh_n that_o have_v life_n for_o it_o be_v life_n that_o must_v die_v and_o death_n must_v take_v it_o into_o his_o custody_n and_o swallow_v up_o life_n into_o the_o belly_n of_o death_n else_o he_o can_v be_v call_v death_n except_o death_n do_v utter_o annihilate_v life_n it_o can_v proper_o be_v call_v death_n for_o while_o life_n be_v in_o be_v death_n be_v utter_o annihilate_v in_o life_n so_o that_o there_o be_v no_o be_v for_o death_n at_o all_o not_o in_o that_o man_n body_n but_o when_o death_n enter_v into_o that_o man_n blood_n who_o be_v so_o full_a of_o life_n before_o then_o death_n grow_v more_o and_o more_o in_o the_o blood_n and_o eat_v up_o the_o life_n quite_o into_o death_n so_o that_o there_o be_v nothing_o to_o be_v see_v in_o all_o that_o life_n but_o a_o dead_a body_n for_o death_n have_v get_v the_o life_n of_o that_o body_n in_o the_o body_n for_o the_o body_n be_v life_n before_o as_o well_o as_o the_o soul_n but_o death_n have_v overcome_v they_o both_o they_o be_v both_o swallow_v up_o of_o death_n so_o that_o you_o may_v see_v death_n as_o he_o be_v as_o you_o do_v see_v life_n as_o he_o be_v before_o and_o not_o that_o the_o life_n go_v out_o of_o the_o body_n as_o man_n do_v vain_o imagine_v so_o that_o death_n be_v he_o that_o ride_v upon_o the_o pale_a horse_n as_o i_o show_v before_o and_o these_o four_o horse_n as_o john_n speak_v of_o in_o his_o vision_n be_v the_o same_o horse_n as_o zechariah_n speak_v of_o in_o his_o vision_n zechariah_n the_o 6_o and_o the_o 3_o verse_n the_o prophet_n see_v in_o his_o vision_n four_o charret_n and_o horse_n the_o first_o chariot_n have_v red_a horse_n and_o the_o second_o have_v black_a horse_n and_o the_o three_o have_v white_a horse_n and_o the_o four_o have_v grizzle_v and_o bay_a horse_n now_o the_o prophet_n express_v in_o his_o vision_n the_o horse_n in_o the_o plural_a number_n to_o be_v more_o horse_n than_o one_o of_o a_o sort_n but_o john_n declare_v they_o in_o his_o vision_n in_o the_o singular_a number_n therefore_o though_o there_o be_v more_o express_v by_o the_o prophet_n yet_o the_o matter_n and_o substance_n be_v all_o one_o for_o all_o horse_n be_v comprise_v under_o those_o four_o so_o that_o there_o need_v no_o further_o open_v of_o the_o horse_n than_o there_o have_v be_v for_o there_o be_v enough_o say_v concern_v those_o four_o horse_n and_o their_o rider_n to_o satisfy_v the_o seed_n of_o faith_n but_o if_o one_o shall_v speak_v never_o so_o much_o the_o seed_n of_o reason_n will_v not_o be_v satisfy_v only_o this_o i_o will_v have_v the_o reader_n not_o to_o scruple_n because_o the_o prophet_n call_v the_o four_o horse_n grizzle_v and_o bay_a when_o as_o john_n call_v it_o a_o pale_a horse_n for_o grizzle_v do_v signify_v death_n sit_v upon_o the_o life_n as_o paleness_n do_v so_o that_o the_o thing_n be_v all_o one_o though_o differ_v something_o in_o word_n so_o that_o there_o need_v be_v no_o further_a interpretation_n upon_o those_o four_o horse_n therefore_o i_o shall_v pass_v by_o they_o and_o come_v to_o the_o next_o thing_n of_o concernment_n chap._n xix_o in_o the_o 9_o verse_n of_o this_o chapter_n at_o the_o open_n of_o the_o five_o seal_n john_n see_v in_o the_o vision_n the_o soul_n of_o they_o that_o be_v slay_v under_o the_o altar_n for_o the_o word_n of_o god_n and_o for_o the_o testimony_n which_o they_o hold_v now_o i_o will_v have_v the_o reader_n to_o consider_v that_o vision_n do_v many_o time_n present_a to_o he_o that_o see_v it_o thing_n that_o be_v at_o a_o distance_n and_o far_o off_o as_o at_o present_a or_o near_o at_o hand_n as_o if_o the_o thing_n be_v in_o present_a be_v this_o have_v be_v the_o usual_a custom_n of_o those_o that_o write_v those_o vision_n in_o the_o scripture_n they_o be_v present_v to_o the_o choose_a prophet_n and_o messenger_n of_o the_o most_o high_a god_n those_o vision_n so_o present_v be_v to_o signify_v either_o some_o extraordinary_a happiness_n and_o deliverance_n to_o a_o particular_a person_n or_o people_n or_o nation_n or_o else_o some_o great_a judgement_n and_o destruction_n to_o a_o person_n people_n or_o nation_n in_o the_o temporal_a as_o aforesaid_a or_o else_o vision_n be_v present_v to_o the_o understanding_n of_o man_n to_o signify_v spiritual_a and_o eternal_a blessing_n to_o a_o number_n of_o people_n or_o else_o to_o signify_v spiritual_a and_o eternal_a misery_n unto_o a_o number_n of_o people_n so_o that_o what_o vision_n be_v declare_v by_o choose_a man_n of_o god_n though_o the_o thing_n be_v not_o immediate_o at_o hand_n whether_o the_o vision_n do_v signify_v temporal_a or_o spiritual_a thing_n yet_o the_o seed_n of_o faith_n do_v look_v upon_o it_o as_o if_o it_o be_v in_o present_a be_v because_o they_o believe_v the_o truth_n of_o the_o thing_n as_o those_o prophet_n of_o old_a do_v prophesy_v of_o christ_n come_v in_o the_o flesh_n as_o isaiah_n say_v in_o the_o 9_o chapter_n to_o we_o a_o child_n be_v bear_v and_o to_o we_o a_o son_n be_v give_v meaning_n christ_n etc._n etc._n now_o the_o prophet_n say_v he_o be_v bear_v when_o as_o he_o be_v not_o borâ—_n many_o hundred_o year_n after_o that_o and_o so_o other_o of_o the_o prophet_n look_v upon_o the_o birth_n of_o christ_n the_o redeemer_n as_o in_o present_a be_v for_o as_o i_o have_v say_v in_o my_o other_o write_n that_o faith_n do_v look_v at_o thing_n afar_o off_o and_o at_o a_o distance_n as_o near_o at_o hand_n and_o in_o present_a be_v but_o because_o the_o seed_n of_o reason_n can_v do_v so_o therefore_o they_o do_v not_o prevent_v neither_o the_o temporal_a nor_o the_o eternal_a judgement_n that_o will_v come_v upon_o they_o but_o you_o the_o seed_n of_o faith_n may_v know_v that_o john_n do_v see_v in_o the_o vision_n by_o the_o eye_n of_o faith_n the_o soul_n of_o they_o that_o be_v slay_v under_o the_o altar_n and_o he_o hear_v the_o cry_n of_o they_o when_o the_o five_o seal_n be_v open_v that_o god_n their_o redeemer_n will_v avenge_v their_o blood_n on_o they_o hat_z dwell_v on_o the_o earth_n that_o be_v upon_o the_o persecutor_n that_o dwell_v on_o the_o earth_n now_o i_o will_v have_v you_o the_o seed_n of_o faith_n to_o understand_v how_o these_o that_o be_v slay_v under_o the_o altar_n can_v cry_v for_o vengeance_n see_v they_o be_v dead_a under_o the_o altar_n and_o yet_o be_v say_v to_o cry_v aloud_o for_o vengeance_n on_o they_o that_o persecute_v and_o put_v they_o to_o death_n the_o meaning_n be_v this_o that_o the_o blood_n of_o those_o that_o be_v slay_v for_o the_o testimony_n of_o jesus_n it_o do_v cry_v virtual_o and_o efficacious_o unto_o god_n that_o he_o will_v avenge_v it_o according_a to_o his_o will_n and_o promise_n and_o so_o god_n do_v hear_v the_o cry_n of_o their_o blood_n that_o be_v slay_v under_o the_o altar_n i_o say_v god_n do_v hear_v their_o cry_n as_o he_o do_v the_o cry_n of_o the_o blood_n of_o abel_n it_o come_v up_o unto_o god_n as_o in_o gen._n 3._o and_o 10._o and_o god_n say_v unto_o cain_n what_o have_v thou_o do_v the_o voice_n of_o thy_o brother_n blood_n cry_v unto_o i_o from_o the_o ground_n so_o that_o the_o blood_n of_o abel_n do_v cry_v from_o the_o ground_n unto_o the_o lord_n for_o vengeance_n and_o who_o must_v the_o righteous_a judge_n be_v avenge_v of_o but_o he_o that_o shed_v his_o brother_n blood_n and_o in_o this_o manner_n do_v the_o soul_n of_o they_o that_o be_v slay_v under_o the_o altar_n for_o the_o word_n of_o god_n and_o the_o testimony_n they_o hold_v cry_v for_o vengeance_n upon_o those_o that_o persecute_a and_o put_v they_o to_o death_n so_o that_o you_o the_o seed_n of_o reason_n may_v see_v that_o there_o be_v power_n in_o blood_n that_o be_v shed_v for_o conscience_n sake_n in_o point_n of_o worship_n to_o cry_v unto_o the_o lord_n for_o vengeance_n upon_o those_o that_o do_v murder_n and_o kill_v upon_o that_o account_n and_o no_o persecutor_n of_o that_o nature_n will_v escape_v vengeance_n to_o come_v no_o more_o than_o cain_n do_v escape_v that_o slay_v his_o brother_n for_o the_o blood_n of_o those_o that_o be_v slay_v in_o such_o a_o
he_o neither_o have_v ever_o any_o man_n that_o wisdom_n and_o power_n as_o he_o have_v therefore_o it_o be_v say_v in_o scripture_n never_o any_o wan_a speak_v like_o this_o man_n neither_o do_v any_o man_n speak_v forth_o that_o wisdom_n as_o he_o do_v for_o he_o be_v say_v to_o be_v the_o wisdom_n of_o god_n he_o must_v needs_o be_v the_o wisdom_n of_o god_n he_o be_v god_n himself_o as_o it_o will_v have_v do_v only_o a_o three_o part_n of_o it_o do_v shine_v that_o be_v truth_n take_v place_n in_o the_o heart_n of_o some_o few_o that_o do_v believe_v he_o so_o that_o the_o light_n of_o heaven_n do_v not_o shine_v into_o the_o heart_n of_o the_o generality_n of_o the_o people_n of_o the_o jew_n because_o they_o see_v such_o suffering_n do_v attend_v the_o believe_v in_o he_o therefore_o it_o be_v say_v many_o believe_v on_o he_o but_o dare_v not_o confess_v he_o because_o of_o the_o suffering_n they_o see_v will_v follow_v so_o that_o this_o jesus_n which_o signify_v the_o sun_n be_v smite_v with_o persecution_n and_o suffering_n in_o the_o time_n of_o his_o ministry_n that_o there_o can_v but_o a_o three_o part_n of_o his_o heavenly_a light_n shine_v upon_o the_o people_n of_o the_o jew_n and_o happy_a be_v those_o that_o this_o light_n do_v shine_v upon_o but_o the_o generality_n of_o the_o people_n do_v smite_v this_o sun_n with_o persecution_n so_o that_o yield_v they_o any_o true_a spiritual_a and_o heavenly_a peace_n in_o their_o soul_n so_o that_o the_o light_n of_o this_o sun_n shine_v not_o at_o all_o upon_o their_o heart_n but_o be_v darkness_n unto_o they_o for_o this_o be_v he_o that_o do_v make_v their_o heart_n fat_a so_o that_o they_o may_v not_o see_v any_o save_a light_n in_o he_o for_o they_o be_v to_o smite_v the_o sun_n with_o envy_n and_o malice_n so_o that_o he_o may_v not_o shine_v upon_o their_o soul_n any_o of_o that_o heavenly_a light_n which_o be_v in_o he_o therefore_o he_o speak_v in_o parable_n and_o dark_a sentence_n that_o they_o may_v not_o understand_v but_o unto_o his_o disciple_n it_o be_v give_v they_o to_o understand_v the_o mystery_n of_o the_o kingdom_n so_o that_o a_o three_o part_n of_o the_o righteousness_n of_o the_o law_n a_o three_o part_n of_o it_o be_v darken_v when_o john_n the_o baptist_n be_v smite_v he_o signify_v the_o moon_n as_o he_o be_v the_o last_o prophet_n of_o the_o law_n also_o the_o ruler_n of_o the_o jew_n be_v the_o three_o part_n of_o the_o star_n that_o be_v darken_v also_o for_o they_o be_v smite_v also_o at_o the_o sound_n of_o the_o four_o angel_n that_o be_v they_o be_v smite_v with_o fear_n trouble_n and_o wrath_n in_o their_o mind_n that_o righteousness_n can_v not_o be_v have_v by_o the_o law_n so_o that_o the_o light_n joy_n and_o peace_n that_o they_o receive_v before_o by_o the_o righteousness_n of_o the_o law_n it_o be_v now_o smite_v and_o darken_v for_o by_o the_o preach_n of_o john_n the_o baptist_n who_o tell_v they_o of_o another_o a_o better_a fruit_n than_o that_o of_o the_o law_n that_o be_v a_o better_a righteousness_n than_o the_o righteousness_n of_o the_o law_n therefore_o he_o tell_v they_o that_o he_o which_o do_v follow_v after_o he_o meaning_n christ_n who_o shoe_n latchet_n he_o be_v not_o worthy_a to_o unlose_v that_o they_o shall_v look_v and_o mind_n he_o he_o will_v tell_v they_o of_o a_o righteousness_n righteousness_n of_o faith_n which_o the_o gospel_n signify_v it_o shine_v in_o the_o mind_n of_o man_n as_o the_o sun_n at_o noonday_n so_o that_o the_o worshipper_n in_o the_o law_n be_v the_o three_o part_n of_o the_o star_n that_o be_v smite_v at_o the_o four_o angel_n sound_v and_o this_o four_o angel_n sound_v until_o the_o destruction_n of_o jerusalem_n for_o as_o the_o sun_n be_v smite_v as_o aforesaid_a so_o likewise_o the_o moon_n and_o star_n be_v smite_v also_o the_o moon_n be_v smite_v first_o in_o john_n the_o baptist_n he_o be_v the_o last_o prophet_n of_o the_o law_n as_o aforesaid_a he_o smite_v the_o heart_n of_o the_o ruler_n of_o the_o jew_n with_o the_o declaration_n of_o a_o christ_n that_o will_v bring_v another_o righteousness_n and_o worship_n then_o smite_v he_o and_o smite_v the_o sun_n also_o but_o in_o a_o while_n after_o the_o moon_n and_o star_n be_v smite_v themselves_o that_o be_v at_o the_o destruction_n of_o jerusalem_n by_o the_o roman_n the_o moon_n and_o star_n be_v smite_v that_o be_v the_o worship_n of_o the_o law_n of_o moses_n which_o signify_v the_o moon_n it_o be_v smite_v and_o the_o ruler_n of_o the_o jew_n which_o be_v the_o star_n be_v smite_v by_o the_o roman_n so_o that_o a_o three_o part_n of_o the_o moon_n have_v be_v darken_v ever_o since_o and_o a_o three_o part_n of_o the_o star_n have_v be_v darken_v ever_o since_o for_o the_o worship_n of_o the_o law_n which_o signify_v the_o moon_n be_v never_o set_v up_o since_o not_o in_o his_o brightness_n neither_o have_v the_o star_n that_o be_v the_o ruler_n of_o the_o jew_n any_o power_n to_o set_v up_o that_o worship_n of_o the_o law_n or_o to_o punish_v any_o that_o do_v not_o submit_v unto_o it_o so_o that_o the_o three_o part_n of_o the_o star_n be_v so_o smite_v that_o they_o be_v become_v darken_v so_o that_o you_o that_o have_v faith_n may_v know_v that_o the_o gospel_n which_o which_o do_v signify_v the_o sun_n be_v smite_v and_o darken_v when_o jesus_n be_v smite_v at_o his_o first_o come_n to_o the_o day_n of_o his_o death_n therefore_o call_v by_o the_o revelation_n of_o john_n the_o three_o part_n of_o the_o sun_n be_v full_a of_o torment_n for_o she_o to_o drink_v eternal_o and_o thus_o will_v her_o cup_n be_v fill_v double_a and_o double_a again_o for_o though_o god_n have_v suffer_v his_o servant_n the_o prophet_n and_o apostle_n and_o saint_n to_o have_v their_o blood_n pour_v out_o and_o drink_v by_o this_o whore_n and_o the_o beast_n the_o time_n will_v come_v that_o he_o will_v avenge_v their_o blood_n upon_o these_o two_o and_o all_o their_o adherent_n and_o give_v they_o their_o own_o blood_n double_a to_o drink_v so_o that_o their_o cup_n shall_v be_v so_o full_a of_o the_o wine_n of_o or_o think_v of_o peace_n or_o deliverance_n shall_v arise_v in_o her_o soul_n to_o give_v any_o hope_n so_o that_o there_o will_v be_v a_o famine_n of_o peace_n indeed_o for_o she_o will_v be_v utter_o burn_v with_o fire_n it_o will_v be_v a_o fire_n indeed_o for_o the_o fire_n of_o god_n wrath_n will_v burn_v eternal_o and_o never_o be_v quench_v beside_o the_o destruction_n of_o the_o glory_n of_o this_o world_n so_o that_o the_o reader_n may_v see_v what_o will_v be_v the_o end_n of_o this_o spiritual_a mystery_n babylon_n with_o the_o beast_n and_o all_o false_a worshipper_n which_o thing_n have_v be_v prophesy_v of_o ever_o since_o moses_n he_o be_v the_o first_o commissionated_a prophet_n and_o i_o be_v one_o of_o the_o last_o god_n have_v give_v i_o understanding_n to_o interpret_v the_o revelation_n of_o john_n the_o evangelist_n even_o till_o i_o have_v find_v out_o a_o period_n of_o the_o destruction_n of_o that_o great_a city_n babylon_n which_o destruction_n and_o utter_a downfall_n be_v conclude_v by_o john_n revelation_n in_o the_o eighteen_o chapter_n and_o the_o eight_o verse_n so_o that_o i_o shall_v patient_o wait_v the_o time_n when_o god_n will_v make_v it_o visible_o appear_v yet_o by_o faith_n i_o do_v know_v it_o will_v certain_o be_v so_o even_o as_o all_o prophet_n and_o apostle_n have_v do_v before_o i_o chap._n lxviii_o with_o she_o and_o the_o merchant_n that_o be_v make_v rich_a by_o she_o they_o do_v stand_v afar_o off_o in_o their_o mind_n for_o fear_v of_o her_o torment_n but_o they_o be_v quick_o in_o it_o as_o well_o as_o she_o and_o all_o that_o lamentation_n that_o be_v make_v rich_a by_o she_o in_o respect_n of_o that_o riches_n and_o temporal_a costliness_n that_o they_o have_v by_o she_o it_o be_v all_o in_o the_o mind_n of_o man_n and_o will_v have_v do_v so_o indeed_o have_v they_o have_v time_n for_o if_o this_o great_a city_n be_v destroy_v in_o one_o hour_n there_o be_v little_a time_n
