thus_o back_v and_o have_v the_o lord_n our_o bulwark_n that_o any_o creature_n can_v be_v of_o that_o force_n or_o be_v so_o against_o we_o no_o not_o the_o devil_n in_o hell_n with_o all_o his_o death_n for_o we_o and_o this_o when_o we_o be_v his_o enemy_n and_o stranger_n from_o the_o life_n of_o god_n how_o can_v it_o be_v he_o shall_v now_o deny_v we_o any_o thing_n to_o further_a our_o salvation_n be_v make_v friend_n with_o he_o and_o reconcile_v to_o he_o through_o his_o son_n this_o doctrine_n need_v rather_o deep_a meditation_n then_o large_a explication_n for_o who_o do_v not_o assume_v to_o himself_o sufficient_o to_o understand_v it_o be_v but_o thus_o much_o in_o effect_n that_o since_o god_n in_o his_o everlasting_a purpose_n have_v thus_o manifest_v his_o glory_n and_o mercy_n and_o have_v ordain_v the_o end_n which_o be_v his_o glory_n in_o our_o salvation_n and_o to_o bring_v it_o that_o it_o may_v come_v to_o this_o end_n have_v subordinate_v and_o set_v down_o certain_a cause_n as_o call_v and_o justify_v it_o be_v impossible_a any_o thing_n shall_v hinder_v our_o salvation_n if_o god_n he_o on_o our_o side_n hereupon_o we_o must_v not_o think_v that_o if_o can_v put_v in_o one_o dram_n more_o than_o the_o lord_n know_v of_o for_o he_o have_v the_o temper_n of_o the_o cup_n as_o it_o be_v say_v of_o solomon_n the_o lord_n weigh_v the_o enterprise_n of_o man_n and_o their_o action_n be_v in_o his_o hand_n and_o the_o worst_a they_o can_v do_v we_o be_v but_o this_o to_o shorten_v our_o day_n by_o that_o mean_n to_o hasten_v our_o joy_n hereupon_o we_o be_v to_o gather_v and_o to_o lay_v up_o this_o comfort_n that_o if_o the_o course_n of_o nature_n shall_v be_v alter_v yet_o even_o in_o this_o confusion_n of_o nature_n if_o we_o call_v upon_o the_o lord_n his_o ear_n be_v ready_a to_o hear_v and_o his_o hand_n to_o help_v we_o nay_o if_o there_o be_v any_o special_a judgement_n and_o vengeance_n determine_v against_o a_o city_n or_o a_o people_n the_o presence_n of_o the_o lord_n child_n do_v even_o bind_v his_o hand_n that_o he_o can_v do_v nothing_o while_o they_o be_v there_o as_o genes_n 19.16_o till_o lot_n be_v snatch_v out_o of_o
