he_o see_v he_o have_v all_o authority_n over_o we_o on_o the_o other_o side_n the_o scripture_n show_v we_o that_o god_n be_v wise_a in_o govern_v the_o world_n according_a as_o i_o have_v say_v already_o then_o it_o be_v not_o for_o we_o to_o say_v god_n do_v what_o he_o list_v and_o we_o wot_v not_o whither_o it_o be_v good_a or_o bad_a but_o contrariwise_o we_o must_v confess_v that_o all_o that_o ever_o he_o do_v be_v well_o do_v and_o although_o we_o know_v not_o the_o reason_n of_o it_o yet_o must_v we_o honour_v his_o secret_a wisdom_n and_o in_o conclusion_n we_o must_v tarry_v his_o leisure_n till_o he_o show_v we_o wherefore_o he_o change_v and_o shift_v the_o state_n of_o the_o world_n in_o that_o sort_n and_o therewithal_o we_o must_v have_v our_o eye_n open_v when_o thing_n be_v manifest_a behold_v god_n bless_v a_o people_n and_o wherefore_o even_o for_o his_o own_o mere_a goodness_n sake_n we_o must_v not_o seek_v for_o any_o desert_n in_o man_n when_o confusion_n in_o the_o world_n as_o will_v grieve_v a_o man_n heart_n but_o we_o see_v also_o how_o wickedness_n be_v become_v like_o a_o flow_a flood_n you_o see_v a_o country_n far_o out_o of_o square_n in_o great_a and_o outrageous_a vice_n and_o god_n scourge_v follow_v by_o and_o by_o that_o be_v too_o say_v within_o a_o while_n after_o must_v we_o not_o needs_o in_o that_o case_n acknowledge_v god_n too_o be_v a_o righteous_a judge_n and_o we_o may_v just_o condemn_v they_o that_o perish_v but_o have_v we_o once_o condemn_v they_o then_o must_v we_o streytwaye_v come_v too_o ourselves_o for_o the_o principal_a point_n be_v for_o we_o too_o profit_v ourselves_o by_o other_o man_n cost_n when_o god_n do_v we_o the_o pleasure_n to_o warn_v we_o aforehand_o to_o the_o end_n that_o every_o of_o we_o shall_v come_v home_o again_o you_o see_v then_o after_o what_o sort_n we_o may_v fare_v the_o better_a by_o god_n providence_n according_a as_o it_o be_v show_v we_o in_o this_o strain_n but_o it_o be_v say_v immediate_o that_o god_n bring_v the_o darkness_n into_o light_n yea_o even_o the_o darkness_n hat_n be_v as_o dark_a as_o death_n that_o be_v to_o say_v which_o be_v as_o the_o darkness_n of_o hell_n the_o same_o will_v he_o bring_v to_o light_v when_o he_o ly_v here_o job_n expresserh_n what_o his_o mean_a be_v namely_o to_o rehearse_v unto_o we_o those_o work_n of_o god_n which_o be_v most_o famous_a for_o if_o he_o shall_v speak_v of_o common_a and_o ordinary_a work_n we_o will_v be_v as_o it_o be_v a_o sleep_v and_o it_o will_v not_o touch_v we_o a_o whit_n as_o i_o have_v declare_v already_o therefore_o we_o must_v be_v warn_v in_o such_o sort_n as_o our_o wit_n may_v be_v astonish_v at_o it_o yea_o and_o as_o we_o may_v be_v quicken_v up_o how_o lazy_a or_o dullminded_a so_o ever_o we_o be_v thus_o you_o see_v what_o job_n mean_v by_o say_v that_o god_n will_v bring_v the_o darkness_n of_o death_n unto_o light_n he_o may_v well_o have_v say_v god_n make_v his_o sun_n to_o shine_v every_o day_n we_o see_v how_o the_o night_n have_v his_o course_n &_o the_o day_n succeed_v lo_o here_o be_v a_o great_a and_o wonderful_a change_n job_n may_v have_v speak_v so_o but_o forasmuch_o as_o that_o be_v a_o ordinary_a thing_n among_o we_o we_o pass_v not_o of_o it_o therefore_o he_o intend_v to_o touch_v the_o extraordinary_a thing_n as_o if_o he_o have_v say_v god_n make_v such_o alteration_n as_o if_o hell_n be_v advance_v up_o aloft_o or_o as_o if_o death_n be_v set_v up_o on_o high_a for_o man_n to_o behold_v now_o when_o darkness_n change_v so_o into_o light_n it_o be_v a_o strange_a fashion_n and_o such_o a_o one_o as_o never_o be_v look_v for_o but_o thereby_o god_n waken_v we_o up_o and_o give_v we_o cause_v too_o think_v better_a upon_o his_o power_n than_o we_o have_v erst_o do_v so_o then_o let_v we_o remember_v this_o lesson_n well_o but_o we_o be_v never_o the_o better_a for_o all_o the_o instruction_n for_o it_o shine_v unto_o we_o too_o the_o end_n that_o every_o man_n shall_v go_v too_o his_o work_n and_o to_o his_o business_n thereby_o to_o show_v we_o that_o he_o have_v not_o make_v we_o to_o be_v idle_a and_o unprofitable_a but_o too_o apply_v ourselves_o too_o somewhat_o wherein_o god_n and_o our_o neighbour_n may_v be_v serve_v you_o see_v then_o that_o the_o sun_n be_v as_o a_o raiser_n of_o we_o up_o unto_o god_n that_o we_o may_v be_v diligent_a too_o do_v our_o duty_n but_o man_n be_v oftentimes_o too_o diligent_a they_o be_v very_o buzie_a and_o they_o will_v rise_v early_o enough_o and_o what_o to_o do_v to_o quaff_v and_o too_o fill_v the_o paunch_n and_o too_o run_v into_o all_o manner_n of_o disorder_n as_o it_o be_v say_v in_o the_o prophet_n isaiah_n that_o the_o day_n be_v not_o long_a enough_o for_o they_o too_o make_v a_o end_n of_o their_o riot_v final_o when_o they_o be_v so_o weary_a that_o they_o can_v no_o more_o they_o play_v the_o brute_n beast_n throughout_o for_o they_o sleep_v the_o day_n and_o watch_v the_o night_n so_o as_o the_o order_n of_o nature_n be_v turn_v utter_o upside_o down_o by_o they_o an_o other_o sort_n rise_v early_o and_o too_o what_o purpose_n too_o work_v some_o treachery_n or_o lewdness_n to_o their_o neighbour_n to_o deceive_v one_o and_o to_o entangle_v another_o another_o sort_n go_v to_o their_o whorehunting_n and_o another_o sort_n too_o their_o wicked_a buy_n and_o sell_v thus_o you_o see_v wherein_o most_o man_n bestow_v their_o diligence_n and_o this_o be_v show_v we_o express_o too_o the_o end_n we_o may_v know_v whereunto_o we_o shall_v apply_v it_o therefore_o as_o soon_o as_o the_o sun_n rise_v let_v we_o learn_v too_o thank_v god_n for_o lightning_n we_o after_o that_o sort_n own_o sloth_n in_o goodness_n as_o how_o such_o a_o one_o be_v the_o stirringe_a man_n in_o the_o world_n and_o what_o to_o do_v to_o go_v do_v a_o murder_n but_o if_o a_o man_n be_v give_v to_o drunkenness_n or_o to_o gluttony_n he_o lay_v himself_o in_o his_o grave_n before_o he_o be_v dead_a for_o we_o see_v how_o these_o drunkard_n be_v as_o stink_a carrion_n more_o than_o half_a rot_a above_o the_o ground_n and_o good_a cause_n why_o for_o it_o be_v the_o wage_n that_o they_o receive_v for_o their_o double_a diligence_n in_o glut_a themselves_o and_o in_o abuse_v the_o good_a creature_n of_o god_n another_o sort_n go_v to_o their_o whorehunting_n and_o othersome_a to_o their_o thieve_a and_o rob_v now_o although_o these_o kind_n of_o man_n think_v too_o advantage_n themselves_o yet_o be_v their_o diligence_n but_o to_o their_o destruction_n for_o when_o they_o have_v toil_v themselves_o thorough_o they_o shall_v do_v nothing_o else_o but_o gather_v a_o stack_n of_o wood_n and_o in_o the_o end_n the_o fire_n of_o god_n wrath_n shall_v be_v put_v to_o it_o to_o consume_v â–ª_o it_o quit_v and_o clean_o therefore_o when_o we_o see_v the_o despiser_n of_o god_n and_o the_o wicked_a sort_n so_o diligent_a in_o do_v evil_a i_o pray_v you_o be_v it_o not_o a_o great_a shame_n for_o we_o if_o we_o be_v lazy_a as_o though_o our_o arm_n be_v break_v shall_v not_o even_o they_o be_v witness_n against_o we_o for_o be_v so_o unprofitable_a thus_o you_o see_v that_o the_o thing_n which_o we_o have_v to_o mark_v in_o this_o sentence_n be_v that_o it_o warn_v we_o to_o be_v diligent_a howbeit_o so_o as_o we_o take_v heed_n to_o apply_v the_o same_o diligence_n where_o god_n will_v have_v we_o to_o bestow_v it_o and_o for_o the_o do_v thereof_o let_v we_o have_v a_o eye_n to_o his_o good_a will_n which_o be_v that_o we_o shall_v communicate_v one_o with_o another_o to_o help_v our_o neighbour_n and_o every_o man_n consider_v what_o ability_n and_o mean_v he_o have_v wherewith_o to_o succour_v such_o as_o have_v need_n of_o he_o lo_o what_o our_o diligence_n ought_v to_o be_v furthemore_n let_v we_o walk_v as_o child_n of_o the_o light_n and_o sith_o that_o god_n do_v now_o enlighten_v we_o both_o day_n and_o night_n let_v we_o call_v upon_o he_o and_o sigh_v unto_o he_o in_o the_o night_n and_o a_o day_n time_n when_o he_o send_v we_o his_o sunne-light_n so_o as_o we_o see_v what_o we_o have_v to_o do_v and_o what_o our_o duty_n be_v â–ª_o let_v we_o apply_v ourselves_o faithful_o thereunto_o and_o at_o leastwise_o let_v we_o be_v as_o forward_o as_o those_o that_o do_v so_o give_v themselves_o to_o evil_a lest_o they_o become_v witness_n of_o our_o slothfulness_n and_o although_o we_o see_v not_o god_n punish_v they_o out_o of_o hand_n yet_o let_v we_o full_o persuade_v ourselves_o that_o there_o be_v a_o horrible_a vengeance_n prepare_v for_o they_o which_o show_v not_o itself_o as_o yet_o but_o let_v we_o not_o therefore_o cease_v to_o look_v a_o far_o off_o for_o it_o behove_v our_o faith_n to_o mount_v above_o all_o thing_n that_o be_v see_v as_o now_o and_o too_o behold_v thing_n that_o be_v see_v as_o now_o and_o he_o spare_v we_o and_o bear_v with_o we_o in_o that_o we_o be_v not_o utter_o overthrow_v by_o they_o and_o that_o although_o we_o have_v deserve_v to_o be_v so_o deal_v with_o yet_o we_o may_v not_o cease_v to_o have_v recourse_n unto_o he_o see_v that_o he_o call_v we_o so_o gentle_o and_o friendly_o and_o that_o we_o may_v endeavour_n to_o amend_v the_o vice_n that_o be_v in_o our_o flesh_n &_o be_v more_o and_o more_o sorry_a for_o they_o so_o as_o we_o may_v whole_o frame_v ourselves_o to_o his_o good_a will_n &_o call_v ourselves_o full_o home_n unto_o he_o and_o that_o thereby_o we_o trouble_n shall_v happen_v than_o if_o we_o shall_v always_o live_v in_o peace_n and_o rest_n and_o therefore_o if_o we_o consider_v well_o the_o cause_n which_o move_v god_n to_o send_v such_o trouble_n into_o the_o world_n we_o will_v no_o more_o murmur_n against_o he_o and_o although_o we_o conceive_v they_o not_o yet_o let_v we_o not_o therefore_o cease_v to_o honour_v reverent_o the_o promise_v we_o for_o god_n promise_n will_v lead_v we_o to_o the_o darkness_n of_o death_n and_o there_o give_v we_o light_v to_o the_o intent_n to_o put_v we_o always_o in_o some_o hope_n that_o we_o shall_v one_o day_n be_v deliver_v from_o our_o adversity_n and_o here_o you_o see_v why_o saint_n paul_n say_v that_o although_o we_o be_v harry_v here_o and_o there_o yea_o and_o that_o we_o be_v cut_v off_o any_o part_n of_o a_o tree_n he_o abate_v the_o beauty_n of_o it_o for_o one_o year_n after_o but_o yet_o it_o be_v certain_a that_o when_o a_o good_a labourer_n that_o will_v further_o his_o own_o profit_n and_o play_v the_o good_a husband_n shr_v a_o tree_n he_o mean_v not_o to_o make_v it_o to_o impair_v but_o that_o the_o tree_n shall_v thrive_v the_o better_a then_o sith_o the_o then_o may_v we_o say_v that_o man_n be_v happy_a or_o unhappy_a we_o must_v not_o have_v our_o eye_n fasten_v upon_o this_o world_n for_o that_o be_v a_o very_a narrow_a bound_n but_o we_o must_v go_v to_o death_n for_o that_o be_v the_o point_n where_o our_o lord_n show_v we_o that_o it_o be_v to_o no_o purpose_n for_o we_o to_o have_v live_v here_o in_o ease_n to_o have_v ho_o ord_v up_o much_o good_n too_o have_v be_v in_o honour_n and_o credit_n to_o have_v cram_v ourselves_o with_o quietness_n and_o to_o be_v short_a to_o have_v have_v all_o our_o wish_n here_o god_n i_o say_v we_o not_o think_v he_o to_o be_v in_o the_o better_a case_n therefore_o and_o why_o for_o what_o shall_v become_v of_o he_o say_v job_n when_o god_n shall_v pluck_v away_o his_o soul_n the_o word_n pluck_v show_v that_o the_o death_n of_o the_o wicked_a be_v always_o forcible_a yea_o true_o although_o they_o be_v as_o good_a as_o rot_a in_o this_o world_n so_o as_o god_n suffer_v they_o to_o live_v till_o very_a age_n consume_v they_o and_o they_o do_v but_o droop_v half_a a_o score_n year_n before_o they_o die_v &_o although_o they_o die_v exceed_o old_a and_o full_a of_o year_n yet_o heavenly_a life_n &_o everlasting_a heritage_n that_o be_v prepare_v for_o we_o thus_o do_v all_o wicked_a man_n want_v three_o thing_n which_o be_v that_o they_o have_v not_o the_o skill_n to_o obey_v god_n &_o to_o suffer_v themselves_o to_o be_v govern_v by_o he_o they_o know_v not_o the_o end_n of_o their_o creation_n that_o be_v to_o wit_n that_o they_o be_v put_v into_o this_o wood_n must_v have_v our_o rest_n and_o forasmuch_o as_o the_o wicked_a have_v not_o comprehend_v these_o three_o thing_n it_o be_v no_o marvel_n though_o they_o be_v pluck_v out_o of_o the_o world_n and_o that_o god_n be_v fain_o to_o hale_v they_o hence_o by_o force_n so_o as_o they_o go_v not_o to_o he_o with_o a_o willing_a mind_n contrariwise_o the_o faithful_a be_v content_v to_o have_v live_v pursue_v they_o with_o rigour_n but_o now_o eliu_n add_v that_o god_n prevent_v that_o mischief_n by_o send_v the_o say_a message_n of_o the_o release_n of_o our_o sin_n so_o as_o we_o fall_v not_o into_o the_o grave_n that_o be_v to_o say_v we_o perish_v not_o for_o the_o case_n here_o stand_v not_o only_o upon_o temporal_a death_n but_o upon_o damnation_n wherein_o we_o shall_v be_v utter_o overwhelm_v if_o god_n do_v not_o prevent_v it_o and_o preserve_v we_o of_o his_o infinite_a goodness_n then_o let_v we_o mark_v that_o while_o we_o be_v afflict_v we_o be_v cover_v with_o the_o darkness_n of_o death_n and_o it_o seem_v to_o we_o that_o there_o be_v no_o get_v out_o of_o it_o but_o yet_o notwithstanding_o even_o in_o that_o time_n god_n sustain_v we_o as_o it_o be_v in_o
