love_n as_o be_v only_o fit_a to_o put_v we_o into_o a_o ecstasy_n of_o admiration_n the_o apostle_n tell_v we_o that_o it_o have_v length_n and_o breadth_n and_o depth_n and_o height_n and_o that_o it_o be_v a_o love_n which_o pass_v knowledge_n a_o love_n which_o can_v not_o be_v describe_v and_o therefore_o god_n allow_v we_o a_o eternity_n to_o admire_v it_o in_o that_o god_n shall_v become_v man_n that_o he_o shall_v die_v to_o who_o it_o belong_v to_o give_v life_n that_o he_o shall_v die_v for_o enemy_n that_o he_o shall_v die_v such_o a_o ignominious_a death_n as_o the_o death_n of_o cast_v great_a contempt_n upon_o the_o wisdom_n of_o christ_n who_o frequent_v not_o the_o bless_a sacrament_n their_o neglect_n of_o it_o suppose_v that_o they_o think_v there_o be_v no_o great_a that_o shall_v have_v thousand_o in_o it_o who_o have_v rather_o be_v without_o the_o sacrament_n than_o have_v it_o who_o shall_v think_v that_o they_o can_v better_o be_v save_v without_o it_o and_o that_o their_o receive_v of_o it_o will_v rather_o endanger_v than_o further_a their_o salvation_n and_o if_o we_o consider_v likewise_o that_o our_o saviour_n institution_n of_o it_o be_v after_o be_v one_o as_o he_o and_o his_o father_n be_v one_o which_o we_o may_v take_v as_o preparatory_a to_o his_o institute_v the_o bless_a supper_n and_o if_o to_o all_o this_o we_o add_v how_o careful_a the_o primitive_a christian_n be_v to_o obey_v they_o that_o have_v the_o rule_n over_o they_o and_o watch_v for_o their_o soul_n in_o observe_v those_o rule_n which_o they_o prescribe_v for_o the_o administration_n of_o the_o sacrament_n which_o rule_n be_v many_o of_o they_o observe_v in_o the_o church_n of_o england_n at_o this_o day_n it_o can_v but_o seem_v very_o strange_a and_o be_v very_o grievous_a to_o all_o good_a christian_n among_o we_o that_o there_o shall_v be_v such_o causeless_a division_n and_o separation_n from_o this_o bless_a ordinance_n to_o the_o end_n therefore_o that_o man_n may_v not_o dishonour_v their_o profession_n nor_o be_v cheat_v of_o that_o spiritual_a food_n which_o christ_n appoint_v for_o the_o nourish_a of_o their_o soul_n to_o eternal_a life_n upon_o in_o all_o this_o neglect_n he_o have_v not_o offend_v god_n that_o if_o he_o shall_v come_v to_o the_o sacrament_n he_o may_v have_v cause_n to_o repent_v but_o his_o turn_v his_o back_n upon_o it_o which_o he_o seem_v to_o have_v be_v a_o expression_n which_o signify_v the_o condition_n of_o a_o careless_a hearer_n to_o be_v so_o forlorn_a that_o it_o may_v make_v every_o such_o sinner_n afraid_a to_o enter_v into_o god_n house_n the_o meaning_n of_o our_o saviour_n by_o that_o proverbial_a say_n be_v he_o that_o be_v a_o obedient_a hearer_n shall_v grow_v in_o grace_n and_o knowledge_n and_o be_v in_o the_o case_n of_o a_o rich_a man_n who_o increase_v his_o riches_n to_o a_o great_a estate_n but_o the_o careless_a hearer_n who_o do_v not_o give_v diligent_a attention_n all_o this_o man_n be_v not_o afraid_a to_o hear_v the_o gospel_n preach_v to_o they_o by_o this_o i_o hope_v it_o have_v appear_v that_o there_o be_v no_o more_o reason_n why_o christian_n shall_v be_v afraid_a to_o receive_v the_o sacrament_n from_o that_o expression_n of_o the_o apostle_n than_o they_o shall_v be_v to_o perform_v other_o duty_n of_o religion_n consider_v what_o the_o scripture_n say_v concern_v those_o that_o be_v unworthy_a performer_n of_o they_o 5._o i_o may_v add_v in_o the_o last_o place_n that_o this_o expression_n of_o the_o apostle_n how_o severe_a soever_o it_o may_v seem_v to_o be_v be_v no_o part_n of_o reveal_v religion_n proper_o so_o call_v reveal_v religion_n be_v that_o of_o god_n which_o we_o can_v not_o know_v if_o it_o be_v not_o tell_v we_o but_o this_o of_o unworthy_a communicant_a eat_n and_o drink_v judgement_n to_o themselves_o be_v that_o which_o the_o corinthian_a and_o all_o christians_n may_v know_v though_o the_o
