I vnderstood the Lamenting and Wayling / then was I not mooued to Compassion ouer y e lamenting Flesh of Sinne / as to fauour or defende thesame / in his sinfull Lusts and vnchast Desyres For it was mynded against God / in all his Lamenting and Wayling but my Heart was compassionably-bent with the Godhead For looking-vpon the Falshod and Deceipt of the sinfull Flesh / I hoped to reioyce me in Gods Glory and so myne Affection stood-bent with the God of Lyfe / to th end that his Glory mought breake-thorow / ouer the Darknesses of Men.
