yet_o notwithstanding_o say_v that_o he_o still_o presume_v on_o his_o virtue_n and_o think_v himself_o to_o be_v a_o very_a righteous_a man_n because_o he_o know_v
do_v whatsoever_o be_v command_v we_o yet_o must_v we_o needs_o confess_v that_o we_o be_v unprofitable_a servant_n and_o why_o so_o what_o be_v we_o at_o our_o own_o choice_n and_o liberty_n to_o do_v what_o we_o lust_n be_v there_o any_o thing_n in_o we_o that_o be_v our_o own_o no_o very_o and_o therefore_o can_v we_o plead_v any_o merit_n albeit_o we_o perfect_o fulfil_v the_o law_n whereupon_o then_o depend_v the_o confidence_n which_o we_o take_v in_o our_o work_n forsooth_o even_o upon_o this_o promise_n that_o whosoever_o shall_v do_v these_o thing_n shall_v live_v by_o they_o for_o god_n bind_v himself_o hereunto_o of_o his_o own_o accord_n albeit_o he_o be_v not_o in_o reason_n tie_v unto_o it_o wherefore_o when_o as_o s._n paul_n speak_v of_o the_o work_n of_o the_o law_n he_o show_v that_o although_o god_n have_v promise_v to_o all_o those_o to_o who_o he_o have_v make_v promise_n that_o how_o many_o soever_o shall_v accomplish_v all_o which_o he_o have_v acquit_v and_o discharge_v himself_o of_o the_o hundred_o part_n of_o his_o duty_n therein_o what_o shall_v we_o then_o do_v but_o even_o hold_v down_o our_o head_n and_o prostrate_v ourselves_o at_o make_v they_o acceptable_a before_o god_n but_o contrariwise_o that_o jesus_n christ_n must_v come_v to_o justify_v we_o of_o those_o thing_n whereof_o the_o law_n be_v never_o able_a to_o do_v what_o be_v mean_v by_o this_o say_n to_o justify_v we_o of_o thing_n that_o be_v to_o say_v to_o pardon_v and_o forgive_v we_o they_o we_o see_v now_o by_o this_o place_n which_o i_o have_v already_o speak_v of_o that_o the_o righteousness_n which_o moses_n here_o speak_v of_o be_v not_o a_o thing_n resident_a in_o our_o person_n but_o god_n free_a forgive_n of_o we_o when_o as_o he_o be_v and_o condition_n be_v not_o by_o confess_v the_o same_o with_o our_o mouth_n only_o or_o have_v a_o vain_a imagination_n swim_v in_o our_o brain_n thereof_o but_o to_o be_v so_o sorrowful_o wound_v and_o greeve_v as_o that_o we_o be_v confound_v before_o the_o majesty_n of_o god_n even_o to_o the_o very_o hate_v &_o detest_a of_o our_o own_o self_n and_o when_o we_o shall_v thus_o right_o judge_v of_o ourselves_o then_o shall_v we_o be_v sure_a that_o god_n will_v forgive_v us._n and_o when_o we_o shall_v be_v thus_o mortify_v in_o ourselves_o then_o shall_v we_o find_v life_n in_o jesus_n christ_n for_o it_o be_v not_o enough_o that_o we_o know_v ourselves_o to_o be_v very_o wretched_a sick_a creature_n and_o poor_a and_o needy_a souleâ—â—_n but_o we_o must_v be_v dead_a altogether_o to_o the_o end_n we_o may_v by_o the_o only_a grace_n of_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n be_v reviue_v and_o that_o hereupon_o we_o may_v be_v so_o humble_v as_o the_o scripture_n will_v we_o which_o be_v to_o give_v unto_o god_n that_o honour_n that_o be_v due_a unto_o he_o and_o it_o be_v not_o without_o cause_n that_o david_n speak_v 51.17_o psal_n 51.17_o when_o as_o he_o say_v and_o how_o shall_v he_o do_v that_o for_o while_o he_o be_v yet_o imperfect_a and_o weak_a the_o virtue_n which_o god_n have_v bestow_v upon_o he_o shall_v be_v mingle_v with_o many_o vice_n yea_o &_o these_o virtue_n also_o shall_v be_v corrupt_v because_o i_o say_v he_o shall_v not_o be_v full_o cleanse_v of_o the_o spot_n of_o the_o flesh_n when_o a_o man_n shall_v find_v himself_o thus_o as_o a_o man_n will_v say_v half_a sea_n over_o &_o yet_o be_v far_o from_o the_o end_n and_o mark_v whether_o he_o will_v go_v how_o can_v he_o otherwise_o do_v but_o doubt_v let_v we_o therefore_o now_o conclude_v that_o it_o be_v nothing_o to_o confess_v &_o say_v that_o our_o salvation_n proceed_v from_o the_o mere_a grace_n &_o favour_n of_o god_n because_o he_o govern_v we_o with_o his_o holy_a spirit_n but_o that_o we_o must_v fly_v unto_o the_o remission_n of_o our_o sin_n and_o so_o they_o that_o play_v the_o wrangle_n so_o phister_n herein_o say_v that_o we_o be_v not_o justify_v faith_n must_v be_v certain_a &_o that_o it_o can_v be_v certain_a except_o jesus_n christ_n be_v our_o advocate_n &_o his_o death_n a_o satisfaction_n for_o our_o sin_n so_o as_o we_o can_v do_v it_o without_o we_o confess_v the_o debt_n as_o by_o the_o example_n of_o the_o publicam_fw-la which_o we_o have_v allege_v may_v be_v see_v and_o we_o see_v also_o that_o this_o righteousness_n must_v not_o be_v for_o a_o day_n only_o but_o must_v continue_v all_o the_o day_n of_o our_o life_n for_o although_o we_o have_v profit_v by_o serve_v of_o god_n yet_o for_o all_o that_o it_o have_v be_v faithful_a man_n be_v come_v to_o this_o we_o must_v not_o say_v that_o he_o be_v justify_v as_o he_o be_v at_o the_o first_o because_o he_o be_v then_o a_o dissolute_a man_n and_o altogether_o estrange_v from_o god_n to_o this_o we_o answer_v when_o god_n at_o the_o first_o justifi_v we_o that_o be_v to_o say_v when_o he_o have_v mercy_n upon_o we_o and_o pluck_v we_o out_o from_o that_o condemnation_n wherein_o we_o be_v he_o use_v then_o a_o general_a pardon_n and_o then_o when_o he_o justifi_v we_o afterward_o he_o than_o acknowkledge_v the_o benefit_n which_o he_o have_v bestow_v that_o very_o even_o by_o his_o grace_n in_o pardon_v the_o fault_n &_o imperfection_n which_o be_v in_o they_o wherefore_o even_o as_o there_o be_v diversity_n between_o a_o faithful_a man_n &_o
