be_v righteous_a or_o live_v righteous_o for_o beloved_n if_o we_o take_v the_o sense_n of_o this_o place_n of_o scripture_n in_o a_o natural_a meaning_n it_o will_v not_o prove_v true_a for_o those_o roman_n body_n to_o who_o the_o apostle_n write_v be_v not_o dead_a for_o if_o so_o they_o have_v not_o be_v able_a to_o read_v the_o epistle_n or_o to_o have_v hear_v other_o read_v it_o and_o beside_o this_o the_o word_n will_v imply_v that_o christ_n be_v in_o we_o destroy_v this_o body_n or_o the_o health_n of_o it_o when_o as_o piety_n unfeigned_a preserve_v both_o body_n and_o soul_n in_o good_a temper_n much_o less_o do_v christ_n be_v in_o we_o make_v the_o body_n dead_a unto_o righteousness_n therefore_o it_o be_v plain_a that_o this_o be_v the_o sense_n of_o this_o place_n viz._n that_o if_o christ_n be_v in_o we_o the_o body_n or_o flesh_n of_o a_o man_n be_v dead_a or_o mortify_v to_o sin_n and_o that_o our_o life_n then_o be_v the_o spirit_n of_o god_n to_o live_v in_o righteousness_n now_o mark_v the_o follow_a verse_n but_o if_o the_o spirit_n of_o he_o that_o raise_v up_o jesus_n from_o the_o dead_a dwell_v in_o you_o he_o that_o raise_v up_o christ_n from_o what_o he_o will_v that_o have_v be_v make_v partaker_n of_o this_o resurrection_n be_v once_o dead_a himself_o for_o as_o rise_v presuppose_v a_o be_v down_o first_o so_o do_v also_o a_o rise_n from_o death_n or_o be_v quicken_v presuppose_v a_o be_v dead_a hence_o therefore_o it_o be_v plain_a that_o every_o christian_a man_n or_o if_o you_o will_v even_o every_o man_n or_o be_v once_o or_o be_v at_o this_o present_a spiritual_o dead_a now_o the_o nature_n of_o death_n you_o know_v be_v such_o that_o nothing_o that_o be_v hold_v therewith_o nothing_o that_o be_v dead_a can_v recover_v
