learn_v and_o labour_n by_o feeling_n and_o practice_v to_o make_v this_o distinction_n in_o his_o heart_n and_o say_v unto_o satan_n away_o from_o i_o satan_n with_o thy_o lie_n when_o i_o be_o void_a of_o the_o fear_n of_o god_n secure_a and_o hard_a heart_a then_o come_v and_o plead_v the_o law_n against_o i_o then_o will_v i_o hear_v thou_o for_o then_o that_o be_v the_o time_n to_o teach_v the_o law_n but_o since_o thou_o come_v now_o unto_o i_o with_o the_o law_n satan_n a_o good_a answer_n to_o be_v give_v to_o satan_n whereas_o my_o heart_n be_v terrify_v already_o with_o sin_n and_o death_n i_o will_v not_o hear_v thou_o for_o thy_o doctrine_n pertain_v not_o unto_o i_o but_o laughter_n and_o joy_n not_o terror_n and_o death_n so_o shall_v satan_n be_v answer_v when_o he_o go_v about_o to_o terrify_v we_o but_o by_o experience_n we_o feel_v that_o when_o most_o need_n be_v our_o heart_n be_v not_o able_a thus_o to_o answer_v though_o we_o have_v hear_v these_o thing_n before_o never_o so_o often_o the_o cause_n be_v this_o that_o albeit_o heaven_n be_v we_o and_o wide_a open_a for_o we_o yet_o such_o be_v our_o nature_n and_o such_o be_v our_o infirmity_n wrath_n and_o judgement_n of_o god_n these_o be_v the_o disciple_n in_o who_o heart_n shall_v be_v plant_v laughter_n and_o joy_n and_o which_o only_o shall_v hear_v the_o voice_n of_o joy_n and_o conscience_n may_v in_o no_o case_n hearken_v unto_o the_o law_n for_o to_o such_o pertain_v laughter_n and_o joy_n the_o preach_v i_o say_v of_o the_o gospel_n or_o remission_n of_o sin_n give_v unto_o we_o in_o christ_n jesus_n and_o to_o this_o effect_n we_o must_v beware_v of_o the_o subtle_a sleight_n of_o satan_n who_o to_o the_o end_n that_o he_o may_v spoil_v we_o of_o this_o comfort_n in_o trouble_n endeavour_n by_o all_o mean_n either_o to_o quench_v the_o light_n of_o god_n utter_o in_o our_o mind_n or_o at_o least_o to_o darken_v and_o obscure_v it_o by_o precipitation_n of_o our_o unbelieve_a heart_n therefore_o say_v david_n sure_o the_o lord_n will_v not_o fail_v his_o people_n nor_o forsake_v his_o inheritance_n again_o thy_o stand_n against_o so_o many_o assault_n of_o the_o devil_n prove_v that_o the_o least_o spark_n of_o christ_n lively_a grace_n in_o a_o christian_a be_v strong_a then_o that_o the_o gate_n of_o hell_n be_v able_a to_o prevail_v against_o it_o be_v therefore_o comfort_v o_o thou_o man_n of_o god_n for_o if_o it_o have_v be_v in_o satan_n power_n to_o have_v quench_v thy_o life_n he_o will_v have_v put_v it_o out_o long_o ere_o now_o be_v assure_v thou_o shall_v prevail_v and_o obtain_v the_o victory_n in_o the_o strength_n and_o might_n of_o that_o mighty_a lord_n the_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n verse_n 5._o turn_v our_o
