preparation_n of_o soul_n as_o the_o gospel_n require_v and_o christ_n will_v accept_v a_o beggar_n be_v not_o worthy_a of_o your_o alm_n yet_o you_o will_v not_o account_v it_o humility_n but_o pride_n in_o he_o to_o refuse_v your_o alm_n when_o entreat_v to_o accept_v they_o upon_o pretence_n of_o be_v unworthy_a of_o they_o the_o truth_n be_v a_o humble_a sense_n of_o our_o unworthiness_n of_o christ_n invitation_n to_o the_o marriage-supper_n escape_v any_o better_a than_o he_o that_o come_v without_o the_o wedding-garment_n be_v they_o not_o both_o destroy_v they_o for_o their_o whether_o fit_a or_o not_o fit_a now_o what_o be_v it_o that_o prepare_v you_o for_o death_n be_v it_o not_o the_o exercise_n of_o repentance_n and_o a_o holy_a life_n this_o will_v fit_v you_o for_o the_o sacrament_n and_o without_o this_o you_o can_v never_o be_v fit_a for_o heaven_n nor_o hope_v to_o come_v there_o 3._o speak_v sincere_o do_v you_o ever_o go_v about_o to_o make_v yourself_o fit_a do_v thou_o ever_o spend_v a_o day_n in_o thy_o closet_n in_o search_v for_o and_o find_v out_o thy_o sin_n in_o confess_v and_o bewail_v of_o they_o in_o resolve_v against_o they_o in_o pray_v earnest_o to_o god_n for_o the_o aid_n of_o his_o grace_n to_o enable_v you_o to_o mortify_v and_o subdue_v they_o do_v ever_o you_o repair_v to_o your_o minister_n and_o desire_v his_o assistance_n in_o fit_v you_o for_o the_o ordinance_n if_o not_o which_o be_v certain_o the_o very_a case_n of_o many_o good_a good_a what_o horrid_a hypocrisy_n be_v this_o to_o offer_v it_o as_o a_o reasonable_a sacrament_n but_o for_o every_o holy_a duty_n also_o unfit_a to_o pray_v unfit_a to_o hear_v and_o unfit_a thou_o will_v be_v for_o ever_o without_o thy_o own_o endeavour_n to_o make_v thyself_o fit_a for_o almighty_a god_n never_o wrought_v a_o miracle_n to_o maintain_v sloath._n if_o thou_o say_v thou_o can_v do_v nothing_o without_o god_n i_o reply_v that_o god_n will_v do_v nothing_o without_o
