of_o christ_n but_o the_o man_n undue_a estimation_n of_o these_o and_o their_o bear_v the_o great_a sway_n with_o he_o in_o his_o carriage_n and_o though_o the_o corruption_n of_o nature_n do_v great_o obstruct_v the_o follow_n of_o christ_n and_o be_v the_o bitter_a root_n out_o from_o which_o the_o selfishness_n we_o here_o speak_v of_o spring_n yet_o it_o be_v someway_o distinct_a from_o it_o i_o mean_v from_o that_o habitual_a and_o to_o speak_v so_o complex_fw-la body_n of_o natural_a corruption_n in_o we_o which_o as_o we_o say_v be_v common_o call_v sinful_a or_o corrupt_a self_n but_o that_o which_o we_o speak_v of_o be_v a_o special_a propension_n and_o inclination_n in_o all_o man_n to_o miscarry_v by_o a_o inordinate_a respect_n to_o themselves_o and_o to_o these_o thing_n that_o respect_v themselves_o consider_v 2_o that_o this_o selfishness_n may_v be_v look_v on_o other_o more_o general_o or_o more_o particular_o 1._o more_o general_o it_o may_v be_v look_v on_o as_o it_o go_v through_o the_o whole_a conversation_n and_o action_n of_o a_o man_n and_o as_o it_o be_v in_o every_o man_n the_o same_o for_o all_o man_n natural_o have_v the_o same_o principle_n of_o selfishness_n or_o of_o inordinat_a respect_n to_o themselves_o sway_v they_o in_o the_o whole_a of_o their_o conversation_n and_o action_n 2_o more_o particular_o it_o may_v be_v look_v on_o as_o it_o run_v in_o such_o and_o such_o a_o channel_n and_o especial_o vent_v itself_o in_o this_o or_o that_o particular_a way_n or_o towards_o such_o or_o such_o a_o particular_a sin_n or_o idol_n and_o in_o this_o respect_n it_o differ_v much_o among_o man_n the_o selfishness_n of_o one_o man_n vent_v more_o in_o one_o way_n and_o towards_o one_o thing_n and_o the_o selfishness_n of_o another_o man_n vent_v more_o another_o way_n and_o towards_o some_o other_o thing_n and_o when_o we_o speak_v of_o selfishness_n here_o it_o be_v not_o of_o the_o last_o but_o of_o the_o firs●_o of_o these_o that_o we_o mean_v that_o be_v of_o that_o selfish_a propension_n or_o inordinat_a respect_n to_o a_o man_n self_n that_o sway_v a_o man_n in_o the_o whole_a of_o his_o conversation_n and_o be_v the_o
