this_o the_o first_o part_n of_o the_o reason_n be_v plain_a and_o such_o as_o will_v be_v confess_v he_o confirm_v the_o second_o part_n first_o of_o all_o show_v the_o danger_n in_o the_o four_o verse_n that_o the_o enemy_n of_o the_o truth_n be_v suâ—h_o as_o will_v not_o open_o and_o direct_o oppose_v against_o the_o same_o but_o will_v sly_o seek_v to_o undermine_v it_o as_o subtle_a and_o close_a pyoneer_n second_o he_o show_v in_o 5_o 6_o and_o 7_o verse_n how_o heinous_o god_n take_v at_o any_o time_n the_o defection_n from_o the_o truth_n and_o turn_n to_o sin_n by_o woeful_a and_o evident_a example_n as_o of_o the_o israelite_n in_o the_o wilderness_n of_o the_o angel_n that_o keep_v not_o their_o first_o estate_n and_o of_o sodom_n and_o gomorrha_n in_o that_o they_o regard_v not_o the_o admonition_n of_o lot_n now_o because_o man_n be_v more_o sensible_a of_o the_o grievous_a punishment_n of_o defection_n than_o they_o be_v of_o the_o danger_n of_o fall_v fear_v more_o the_o punishment_n than_o sin_n the_o cause_n therefore_o the_o apostle_n pull_v back_o his_o foot_n again_o and_o betake_v himself_o to_o a_o more_o lively_a and_o large_a demonstration_n of_o the_o danger_n and_o therefore_o from_o the_o 8_o verse_n to_o the_o 20._o do_v set_v down_o a_o most_o full_a description_n of_o the_o wicked_a the_o show_n whereof_o and_o kind_n be_v paint_v forth_o so_o terrible_o that_o worthy_o it_o may_v awake_v any_o to_o circumspection_n what_o these_o man_n speak_v what_o they_o meditate_v and_o what_o mischief_n they_o nourish_v in_o their_o secret_a heart_n he_o bring_v forth_o to_o light_n and_o all_o these_o thing_n be_v do_v so_o plain_o and_o particular_o that_o none_o can_v but_o marvel_v at_o as_o well_o the_o diligence_n of_o the_o holy_a spirit_n as_o his_o care_n of_o we_o in_o that_o he_o have_v so_o mark_v and_o brand_v these_o wicked_a man_n in_o the_o forehead_n that_o every_o one_o may_v know_v they_o and_o avoid_v they_o and_o that_o none_o may_v wonder_v that_o such_o swarm_n of_o wicked_a man_n shall_v arise_v at_o the_o light_n of_o the_o gospel_n he_o show_v that_o this_o be_v no_o other_o thing_n then_o such_o as_o be_v long_o since_o foretold_v by_o enoch_n of_o these_o last_o time_n and_o late_o also_o by_o some_o of_o his_o fellow_n apostle_n st._n paul_n and_o st._n peter_n so_o then_o the_o greatness_n both_o of_o the_o danger_n from_o these_o evil_a man_n as_o also_o of_o the_o sin_n of_o defection_n be_v open_v sufficient_o in_o this_o 20_o verse_n and_o follow_v he_o conclude_v his_o exhortation_n but_o the_o very_a conclusion_n be_v not_o
