church_n yet_o the_o truth_n be_v they_o be_v not_o whole_o cut_v off_o from_o the_o society_n of_o the_o faithful_a for_o the_o seed_n of_o faith_n remain_v in_o they_o and_o that_o knit_v the_o bond_n of_o conjunction_n with_o christ_n though_o the_o sense_n thereof_o be_v lose_v until_o they_o repent_v in_o this_o case_n the_o party_n excommunicate_a be_v as_o a_o free_a man_n in_o bond_n who_o until_o he_o get_v out_o of_o prison_n have_v no_o use_n of_o his_o freedom_n and_o yet_o continue_v a_o free_a man_n still_o though_o he_o remain_v in_o prison_n so_o also_o the_o child_n of_o god_n may_v still_o be_v the_o child_n of_o god_n though_o exclude_v from_o the_o congregation_n of_o the_o church_n for_o some_o offence_n from_o this_o that_o have_v be_v say_v arise_v the_o answer_n to_o the_o question_v propound_v namely_o that_o the_o child_n of_o such_o person_n as_o be_v excommunicate_v be_v notwithstanding_o their_o excommunication_n to_o be_v baptize_v because_o they_o be_v indeed_o and_o in_o the_o judgement_n of_o charity_n true_a member_n of_o the_o body_n of_o christ_n though_o in_o some_o other_o regard_v they_o be_v not_o in_o present_a hold_v so_o to_o be_v yet_o further_o beside_o the_o former_a ground_n consider_v these_o reason_n first_o child_n of_o parent_n that_o be_v profess_v member_n of_o the_o church_n though_o cut_v off_o for_o a_o time_n upon_o some_o offence_n commit_v have_v right_a to_o baptism_n because_o it_o be_v not_o in_o the_o power_n of_o man_n to_o cut_v they_o off_o from_o christ_n though_o they_o be_v excommunicate_v church_n last_o if_o the_o mercy_n of_o god_n enlarge_v itself_o to_o thousand_o yea_o to_o infinite_a generation_n why_o shall_v man_n be_v so_o hard_o heart_v as_o to_o make_v question_n whether_o such_o infant_n belong_v to_o the_o covenant_n and_o consequent_o keep_v they_o from_o the_o sacrament_n of_o baptism_n out_o of_o this_o question_n arise_v a_o second_o whether_o child_n bear_v in_o fornication_n have_v right_a to_o baptism_n ans._n they_o be_v not_o to_o be_v keep_v from_o it_o for_o the_o wickedness_n of_o the_o parent_n ought_v not_o to_o prejudice_n the_o child_n in_o thing_n be_v baptize_v three_o that_o their_o be_v some_o appoint_v to_o answer_v for_o the_o infant_n beside_o the_o parent_n and_o to_o make_v solemn_a promise_n open_o to_o the_o church_n that_o it_o shall_v be_v careful_o bring_v up_o and_o instruct_v in_o the_o faith_n and_o the_o same_o be_v to_o be_v observe_v and_o practise_v before_o the_o baptise_v of_o the_o child_n of_o parent_n excommunicate_a iv._o question_n how_o man_n be_v to_o make_v a_o right_a use_n of_o their_o baptism_n when_o they_o become_v to_o year_n the_o not_o observe_v hereof_o be_v the_o cause_n of_o many_o sin_n and_o corruption_n in_o the_o life_n of_o man_n it_o be_v common_o hold_v a_o great_a fault_n in_o civil_a matter_n for_o a_o man_n not_o to_o keep_v his_o covenant_n much_o more_o be_v it_o a_o of_o baptism_n which_o be_v two_o fold_n the_o first_o be_v that_o it_o serve_v to_o be_v a_o token_n and_o pledge_v of_o god_n favour_n towards_o we_o and_o that_o principal_o three_o way_n first_o in_o that_o it_o seal_v and_o confirm_v to_o we_o the_o free_a pardon_n and_o forgiveness_n of_o our_o sin_n thus_o cornelius_n be_v baptize_v of_o peter_n after_o he_o have_v hear_v the_o gospel_n
