beget_v and_o feed_v and_o maintain_v the_o great_a grief_n pierce_v deep_a and_o be_v more_o hardly_o bear_v for_o death_n can_v deprive_v we_o of_o a_o near_a mercy_n than_o a_o part_n of_o duty_n in_o time_n of_o life_n the_o more_o fear_n and_o love_n to_o god_n the_o more_o love_n and_o care_n concern_v their_o relation_n the_o more_o conscientious_a performance_n of_o relative_n duty_n the_o more_o meekness_n of_o spirit_n the_o more_o kind_a carriage_n and_o sweetness_n of_o temper_n and_o disposition_n the_o most_o suitableness_n in_o all_o respect_n there_o be_v in_o both_o the_o more_o grievous_a the_o separation_n by_o death_n to_o the_o survivor_n must_v be_v and_o who_o can_v forbear_v to_o sorrow_n for_o so_o great_a a_o loss_n when_o he_o do_v sit_v though_o maâ—y_v thing_n may_v be_v have_v out_o of_o the_o whole_a word_n of_o god_n which_o will_v much_o enlarge_v this_o discourse_n yet_o i_o shall_v that_o i_o may_v contract_v pick_v up_o the_o bearer_n carry_v the_o corpse_n upon_o their_o shoulder_n the_o mourn_a relation_n follow_v and_o many_o sorrowful_a sympathize_v friend_n come_v after_o to_o see_v the_o dead_a body_n lodge_v in_o its_o long_a home_n methinks_v another_o affection_n be_v ready_a to_o take_v its_o turn_n and_o to_o act_v its_o part_n even_o delight_n and_o joy_n when_o i_o look_v forward_o and_o foresee_v the_o lord_n a_o come_n and_o all_o his_o holy_a angel_n with_o he_o call_v the_o dead_a to_o rise_v they_o hear_v and_o come_v forth_o from_o their_o sleep_a place_n and_o after_o judgement_n go_v with_o their_o lord_n into_o the_o high_a heaven_n in_o body_n and_o soul_n not_o only_o to_o their_o long_a but_o last_o yea_o everlasting_a home_n to_o live_v and_o love_n and_o joy_n in_o god_n to_o all_o eternity_n oh_o what_o difference_n be_v there_o between_o believe_a thought_n of_o these_o great_a and_o glorious_a certain_a thing_n and_o those_o that_o have_v be_v daily_o run_v to_o the_o grave_a look_v upon_o a_o consume_a body_n what_o wrong_a have_v i_o do_v myself_o in_o hasten_v to_o this_o part_n no_o more_o and_o come_v to_o it_o no_o soon_o why_o have_v we_o be_v look_v so_o long_o in_o the_o grave_a in_o which_o as_o such_o we_o can_v see_v nothing_o but_o death_n and_o cry_v out_o as_o the_o man_n to_o elisha_n concern_v their_o deadly_a pottage_n o_o thou_o man_n of_o god_n there_o be_v death_n in_o the_o pot_n 2_o king_n 4.40_o so_o we_o there_o be_v death_n in_o the_o grave_a but_o when_o elisha_n say_v then_o bring_v meal_n and_o he_o cast_v it_o into_o the_o pot_n and_o he_o say_v pour_v out_o for_o the_o people_n that_o they_o may_v eat_v and_o there_o be_v no_o harm_n in_o the_o pot._n so_o we_o shall_v have_v look_v upon_o the_o grave_a as_o a_o place_n where_o christ_n before_o have_v be_v lay_v and_o as_o a_o bed_n for_o the_o body_n of_o believer_n to_o sleep_v in_o till_o the_o lord_n shall_v come_v and_o we_o shall_v have_v see_v no_o such_o great_a harm_n in_o the_o grave_a to_o fill_v we_o with_o excessive_a sorrow_n concern_v this_o representation_n of_o death_n by_o sleep_v four_o thing_n may_v be_v premise_v as_o to_o this_o manner_n of_o scripture_n expression_n 1._o though_o beast_n do_v die_v yet_o their_o death_n in_o scripture_n that_o i_o know_v of_o be_v never_o call_v a_o sleep_n for_o they_o die_v to_o live_v no_o more_o eternal_a god_n and_o which_o make_v thy_o heart_n as_o cold_a in_o all_o thy_o duty_n unto_o god_n as_o the_o body_n of_o thy_o dead_a relation_n be_v in_o its_o grave_n beside_o be_v not_o thy_o sorrow_n too_o much_o when_o it_o hinder_v thou_o from_o spiritual_o rejoice_v in_o god_n and_o give_v thanks_o to_o he_o for_o all_o the_o mercy_n which_o in_o thy_o sorrow_n thou_o do_v overlook_v especial_o when_o let_v thy_o condition_n be_v what_o it_o will_v as_o to_o temporal_n thou_o have_v much_o more_o cause_n to_o bless_v god_n for_o spiritual_n and_o eternal_a mercy_n than_o to_o
