some_o part_n of_o we_o he_o know_v wherefore_o he_o do_v it_o but_o we_o must_v pass_v yet_o further_o for_o it_o be_v not_o enough_o for_o we_o to_o show_v ourselves_o patient_a in_o some_o small_a or_o common_a adversity_n but_o if_o god_n bring_v we_o too_o death_n door_n that_o be_v to_o say_v if_o he_o use_v such_o extremity_n in_o chastise_v of_o we_o as_o it_o may_v well_o seem_v he_o intend_v to_o destroy_v we_o and_o that_o when_o we_o shall_v have_v debate_v the_o matter_n off_o and_o on_o we_o can_v not_o but_o condemn_v ourselves_o and_o be_v utter_o abash_v yet_o notwithstanding_o we_o must_v still_o continue_v steadfast_a as_o shall_v be_v say_v hereafter_o so_o that_o although_o god_n kill_v we_o yet_o must_v we_o trust_v still_o in_o he_o for_o he_o be_v the_o physician_n that_o can_v heal_v not_o only_o our_o wound_n but_o also_o death_n itself_o and_o therefore_o it_o be_v say_v in_o the_o psalm_n although_o i_o shall_v walk_v in_o the_o shadow_n of_o death_n so_o long_o as_o i_o see_v the_o sheephooj_n of_o my_o god_n that_o be_v to_o say_v so_o long_o as_o he_o show_v himself_o to_o be_v my_o shepherd_n i_o shall_v comfort_v myself_o we_o be_v able_a to_o abide_v no_o more_o yet_o let_v we_o stand_v up_o and_o say_v be_v we_o pluck_v up_o and_o will_v not_o god_n plant_v we_o again_o if_o a_o husbandman_n may_v remove_v a_o tree_n from_o one_o place_n to_o a_o other_o shall_v not_o god_n have_v more_o power_n then_o let_v we_o trust_v in_o he_o and_o let_v we_o not_o doubt_v but_o that_o when_o it_o please_v he_o to_o have_v pity_n upon_o we_o we_o shall_v be_v restore_v to_o better_a state_n than_o we_o be_v in_o afore_o yea_o very_o but_o the_o mean_n thereof_o shall_v not_o be_v after_o man_n fancy_n also_o it_o become_v we_o not_o to_o measure_v god_n grace_n and_o power_n after_o our_o reason_n let_v we_o not_o do_v he_o that_o wrong_n but_o let_v we_o assure_v ourselves_o that_o for_o all_o the_o power_n which_o he_o have_v give_v to_o mortal_a man_n there_o be_v no_o whit_n abate_v from_o himself_o but_o he_o have_v much_o more_o and_o without_o comparison_n so_o as_o he_o can_v not_o be_v let_v to_o aid_v we_o in_o our_o great_a adversity_n when_o our_o calamity_n shall_v be_v utter_o deadly_a then_o will_v he_o restore_v we_o again_o in_o such_o wise_a as_o we_o shall_v have_v whereof_o to_o worse_a for_o that_o god_n have_v diminish_v i_o so_o much_o we_o can_v skill_v well_o enough_o to_o bethink_v we_o of_o all_o these_o thing_n and_o the_o devil_n also_o will_v not_o miss_v too_o put_v they_o in_o our_o head_n that_o we_o may_v be_v grieve_v and_o torment_v yea_o even_o too_o fret_v and_o fume_n against_o god_n what_o be_v too_o be_v do_v then_o behold_v here_o the_o mean_a too_o beat_v back_o such_o temptation_n that_o be_v to_o wit_n too_o consider_v that_o if_o god_n work_v after_o such_o a_o manner_n towards_o he_o all_o shall_v turn_v to_o their_o welfare_n they_o shall_v make_v their_o profit_n even_o with_o advantage_n of_o that_o which_o seem_v too_o tend_v too_o their_o destruction_n and_o here_o you_o see_v why_o even_o that_o kind_n of_o temptation_n be_v set_v before_o we_o which_o at_o the_o first_o blush_n seem_v most_o strange_a and_o grisly_a that_o be_v when_o mention_n be_v make_v of_o pluck_v up_o by_o the_o root_n for_o than_o you_o see_v the_o tree_n be_v dead_a it_o be_v quite_o and_o clean_o dispatch_v for_o wherein_o consist_v the_o life_n of_o the_o tree_n in_o the_o root_n then_o after_o that_o the_o earth_n be_v take_v away_o from_o it_o there_o be_v no_o more_o life_n in_o it_o so_o be_v it_o with_o we_o for_o if_o god_n take_v from_o we_o that_o which_o belong_v to_o the_o present_a life_n you_o see_v we_o be_v pluck_v up_o by_o the_o root_n there_o be_v no_o more_o hope_n of_o we_o and_o why_o for_o we_o imagine_v that_o our_o life_n consist_v in_o the_o have_v of_o good_n and_o in_o the_o have_v wherewith_o to_o sustain_v and_o cherish_v ourselves_o and_o yet_o we_o do_v not_o as_o the_o tree_n for_o a_o tree_n be_v content_v with_o the_o have_v of_o so_o much_o room_n as_o his_o root_n be_v able_a to_o
a_o thing_n well_o worth_a the_o note_n for_o we_o take_v ourselves_o for_o stout_a man_n of_o war_n and_o too_o have_v be_v try_v too_o the_o uttermost_a when_o we_o have_v endure_v some_o sickness_n or_o some_o other_o adversity_n and_o we_o think_v then_o that_o god_n ought_v not_o too_o begin_v new_a again_o with_o we_o but_o that_o we_o be_v quite_o discharge_v and_o be_v become_v stout_a champion_n and_o yet_o notwithstanding_o all_o the_o bodily_a affliction_n that_o we_o can_v endure_v be_v nothing_o in_o respect_n of_o the_o distress_n that_o a_o poor_a sinner_n be_v in_o when_o he_o perceive_v that_o god_n be_v as_o it_o be_v a_o party_n against_o he_o and_o persecute_v he_o so_o as_o he_o can_v find_v no_o mean_n too_o come_v too_o atonement_n and_o agreement_n with_o he_o therefore_o when_o our_o sin_n come_v after_o that_o sort_n before_o we_o and_o the_o devil_n make_v we_o to_o feel_v god_n wrath_n and_o again_o on_o the_o other_o side_n our_o own_o conscience_n reprove_v we_o so_o as_o god_n seem_v too_o be_v utter_o angry_a with_o we_o that_o say_v i_o be_v a_o far_o great_a and_o dreadefull_a anguish_n than_o all_o the_o misery_n be_v that_o we_o can_v endure_v in_o our_o flesh_n and_o therefore_o let_v we_o prepare_v ourselves_o to_o such_o spiritual_a battle_n pray_v god_n too_o strengthen_v we_o for_o we_o see_v how_o all_o man_n strength_n fail_v in_o that_o behalf_n so_o as_o we_o shall_v be_v quick_o overwhelm_v if_o we_o be_v not_o prop_v up_o from_o above_o and_o lift_v up_o by_o god_n when_o we_o be_v fall_v and_o set_v again_o into_o the_o right_a way_n when_o we_o be_v step_v out_o of_o it_o by_o the_o way_n when_o job_n say_v let_v he_o get_v he_o from_o i_o a_o while_n we_o see_v yet_o better_o how_o miserable_a the_o joy_n but_o in_o that_o god_n be_v near_o at_o hand_n too_o we_o and_o in_o that_o we_o feel_v how_o his_o gracious_a favour_n be_v never_o separate_v from_o we_o but_o a_o clean_a contrary_n when_o a_o poor_a sinner_n be_v so_o scare_v with_o god_n judgement_n he_o desire_v nothing_o but_o too_o hide_v himself_o and_o too_o find_v some_o secret_a nook_n that_o god_n may_v see_v he_o no_o more_o and_o that_o he_o may_v not_o make_v he_o feel_v his_o hand_n any_o more_o and_o so_o the_o great_a benefit_n that_o poor_a sinner_n can_v have_v when_o they_o feel_v themselves_o so_o torment_v with_o god_n judgement_n be_v to_o press_v near_o to_o he_o to_o crave_v help_n and_o succour_v at_o his_o hand_n and_o their_o utter_a undo_n be_v to_o shrink_v away_o from_o he_o we_o see_v then_o what_o man_n be_v when_o god_n show_v himself_o angry_a with_o they_o for_o they_o have_v none_o other_o shift_n than_o to_o heap_v wickedness_n upon_o wickedness_n and_o to_o enter_v into_o hell_n for_o it_o be_v a_o veâ—ie_a hell_n when_o we_o be_v shrink_v away_o after_o that_o sort_n from_o god_n and_o yet_o notwithstanding_o when_o god_n hold_v they_o at_o that_o point_n behold_v how_o all_o poor_a sinner_n wish_v that_o he_o will_v make_v they_o perceive_v how_o there_o be_v nothing_o in_o he_o but_o his_o wrath_n and_o curse_n but_o hereby_o we_o must_v be_v provoke_v to_o pray_v god_n that_o whatsoever_o vengcance_n we_o have_v deserve_v for_o our_o sin_n yet_o we_o may_v not_o forget_v this_o grace_n which_o he_o offer_v we_o namely_o that_o we_o shall_v always_o have_v recourse_n to_o his_o goodness_n and_o that_o although_o he_o have_v good_a right_a to_o be_v angry_a with_o we_o yet_o nevertheless_o we_o may_v assure_v ourselves_o that_o he_o cease_v not_o to_o allure_v we_o to_o he_o for_o his_o goodness_n surmount_v the_o rigour_n of_o his_o justice_n which_o be_v due_a to_o we_o for_o our_o sin_n and_o thereby_o let_v we_o be_v comfort_v until_o he_o &_o constancy_n be_v in_o such_o temptation_n and_o here_o you_o see_v how_o we_o may_v say_v with_o saint_n paul_n neither_o thing_n present_a nor_o thing_n too_o come_v nor_o life_n nor_o death_n nor_o any_o thing_n else_o be_v able_a too_o separate_v we_o from_o the_o love_n of_o god_n that_o be_v to_o say_v nothing_o can_v disappoynte_v we_o that_o we_o shall_v not_o always_o feel_v his_o fatherly_a love_n which_o he_o use_v towards_o we_o to_o assuage_v and_o sweeten_v our_o sorrow_n withal_o saint_n paul_n set_v down_o thing_n to_o come_v as_o if_o he_o shall_v say_v true_a it_o be_v that_o man_n be_v subject_a to_o infinite_a misery_n as_o we_o can_v neither_o number_v nor_o measure_v they_o the_o misery_n that_o be_v in_o our_o nature_n be_v as_o it_o be_v a_o maze_n and_o yet_o for_o all_o that_o if_o we_o hold_v our_o self_n by_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n who_o be_v the_o band_n between_o god_n and_o we_o and_o look_v upon_o he_o as_o the_o party_n that_o knit_v we_o to_o god_n his_o father_n there_o shall_v be_v nothing_o too_o hinder_v we_o that_o we_o shall_v not_o be_v always_o merry_a lo_o what_o we_o have_v to_o desire_v at_o god_n hand_n when_o we_o know_v horrible_a confusion_n and_o so_o the_o case_n stand_v that_o when_o we_o have_v
no_o further_a knowledge_n but_o of_o our_o sin_n and_o of_o god_n justice_n we_o must_v be_v fain_o too_o rest_v there_o so_o then_o we_o must_v not_o think_v it_o strange_a that_o job_n speak_v of_o death_n shall_v say_v that_o man_n go_v into_o a_o dark_a coast_n where_o there_o be_v nothing_o but_o darkness_n and_o disorder_n and_o why_o so_o for_o he_o match_v sin_n and_o god_n curse_v adam_n and_o in_o good_a sooth_n it_o be_v not_o without_o cause_n that_o saint_n paul_n say_v that_o that_o which_o be_v corruptible_a go_v foremost_a for_o he_o speak_v not_o only_o of_o the_o order_n that_o god_n hold_v in_o nature_n but_o also_o of_o that_o which_o it_o behove_v we_o too_o consider_v on_o our_o part_n therefore_o we_o must_v understand_v that_o although_o we_o be_v bear_v into_o this_o world_n and_o be_v as_o noble_a and_o excellent_a creature_n of_o god_n as_o any_o can_v be_v yet_o notwithstanding_o by_o mean_n of_o sin_n death_n have_v as_o it_o be_v abolish_v and_o raze_v out_o that_o nobleness_n in_o so_o much_o that_o god_n mislike_v we_o and_o disclaim_v we_o as_o though_o his_o hand_n have_v not_o fashion_v we_o because_o we_o be_v disfigure_v and_o the_o devil_n have_v set_v his_o mark_n and_o stamp_n upon_o we_o and_o furthermore_o be_v subject_n too_o the_o curse_n that_o be_v pronounce_v upon_o adam_n we_o be_v as_o good_a as_o banish_v out_o of_o the_o whole_a world_n so_o as_o there_o be_v neither_o heaven_n nor_o earth_n but_o it_o abhor_v we_o this_o say_v i_o be_v the_o thing_n that_o we_o have_v too_o mark_v in_o ourselves_o but_o if_o we_o enter_v into_o that_o battle_n it_o be_v certain_a that_o we_o shall_v be_v confound_v utter_o you_o see_v that_o the_o cause_n why_o man_n stand_v so_o much_o in_o their_o own_o conceit_n be_v with_o we_o no_o death_n can_v be_v dreadful_a unto_o we_o and_o here_o you_o see_v why_o david_n say_v that_o god_n sheephooj_n shall_v comfort_v he_o in_o the_o shadow_n of_o death_n and_o in_o the_o darkness_n when_o as_o he_o speak_v of_o god_n sheephooj_v he_o mean_v that_o he_o shall_v be_v afraid_a of_o nothing_o so_o long_o as_o god_n show_v himself_o a_o shepherd_n towards_o he_o and_o how_o shall_v he_o show_v himself_o a_o shepherd_n but_o in_o the_o person_n of_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n so_o then_o let_v we_o first_o consider_v of_o what_o mind_n job_n speak_v here_o he_o know_v that_o if_o man_n be_v consider_v in_o themselves_o it_o be_v their_o very_a nature_n to_o have_v nothing_o else_o but_o all_o manner_n of_o confusion_n both_o in_o their_o life_n and_o the_o simple_a ydiot_n but_o of_o those_o in_o who_o man_n have_v know_v great_a wisdom_n insomuch_o as_o they_o seem_v too_o have_v be_v able_a enough_o to_o have_v govern_v a_o whole_a world_n and_o we_o in_o hand_n to_o be_v thorough_o persuade_v of_o that_o which_o be_v contain_v here_o for_o how_o shall_v we_o else_o take_v instruction_n by_o that_o which_o i_o have_v lay_v forth_o let_v we_o assure_v ourselves_o that_o when_o the_o lord_n shall_v have_v multiply_v a_o people_n he_o can_v well_o diminish_v they_o again_o to_o less_o than_o nothing_o and_o when_o there_o happen_v any_o confusion_n in_o the_o world_n as_o will_v grieve_v a_o man_n heart_n but_o we_o see_v also_o how_o wickedness_n be_v become_v like_o a_o flow_a flood_n you_o see_v a_o country_n far_o out_o of_o square_n in_o great_a and_o outrageous_a vice_n and_o god_n scourge_v follow_v by_o and_o by_o that_o be_v too_o say_v within_o a_o while_n after_o must_v we_o not_o needs_o in_o that_o case_n acknowledge_v god_n too_o be_v a_o righteous_a judge_n and_o we_o may_v just_o condemn_v they_o that_o perish_v but_o have_v we_o once_o condemn_v they_o then_o must_v we_o streytwaye_v come_v too_o ourselves_o for_o the_o principal_a point_n be_v for_o we_o too_o profit_v ourselves_o by_o other_o man_n cost_n when_o god_n do_v we_o the_o pleasure_n to_o warn_v we_o aforehand_o to_o the_o end_n that_o every_o of_o we_o shall_v come_v home_o again_o you_o see_v then_o after_o what_o sort_n we_o may_v fare_v the_o better_a by_o god_n providence_n according_a as_o it_o be_v show_v we_o in_o this_o strain_n but_o it_o be_v say_v immediate_o that_o god_n bring_v the_o darkness_n into_o light_n yea_o even_o the_o darkness_n hat_n be_v as_o dark_a as_o death_n that_o be_v to_o say_v which_o be_v as_o the_o darkness_n of_o hell_n the_o same_o will_v he_o bring_v to_o light_v when_o he_o ly_v here_o job_n expresserh_n what_o his_o mean_a be_v namely_o to_o rehearse_v unto_o we_o those_o work_n of_o god_n which_o be_v most_o famous_a for_o if_o he_o shall_v speak_v of_o common_a and_o ordinary_a work_n we_o will_v be_v as_o it_o be_v a_o sleep_v and_o it_o will_v not_o touch_v we_o a_o whit_n as_o i_o have_v declare_v already_o therefore_o we_o must_v be_v warn_v in_o such_o sort_n as_o our_o wit_n may_v be_v astonish_v at_o it_o yea_o and_o as_o we_o may_v be_v quicken_v up_o how_o lazy_a or_o dullminded_a so_o ever_o we_o be_v thus_o you_o see_v what_o job_n mean_v by_o say_v that_o god_n will_v bring_v the_o darkness_n of_o death_n unto_o light_n he_o may_v well_o have_v say_v god_n make_v his_o sun_n to_o shine_v every_o day_n we_o see_v how_o the_o night_n have_v his_o course_n &_o the_o day_n succeed_v lo_o here_o be_v a_o great_a and_o wonderful_a change_n job_n may_v have_v speak_v so_o but_o forasmuch_o as_o that_o be_v a_o ordinary_a thing_n among_o we_o we_o pass_v not_o of_o it_o therefore_o he_o intend_v to_o touch_v the_o extraordinary_a thing_n as_o if_o he_o have_v say_v god_n make_v such_o alteration_n as_o if_o hell_n be_v advance_v up_o aloft_o or_o as_o if_o death_n be_v set_v up_o on_o high_a for_o man_n to_o behold_v now_o when_o darkness_n change_v so_o into_o light_n it_o be_v a_o strange_a fashion_n and_o such_o a_o one_o as_o never_o be_v look_v for_o but_o thereby_o god_n waken_v we_o up_o and_o give_v we_o cause_v too_o othersome_a be_v torment_v in_o such_o wise_a as_o they_o pine_v away_o by_o piecemeal_o and_o be_v wear_v away_o too_o the_o hard_a bone_n and_o othersome_a go_v away_o without_o any_o feel_n then_o let_v we_o mark_v here_o that_o this_o word_n the_o firstborn_a of_o death_n carry_v in_o it_o a_o great_a force_n when_o a_o man_n be_v hold_v as_o it_o be_v upon_o the_o rack_n and_o that_o god_n dismay_v he_o and_o fray_v he_o and_o wrap_v he_o in_o anguish_n on_o all_o side_n in_o somuch_o that_o he_o see_v nothing_o but_o a_o bottomless_a pit_n of_o horrible_a fear_n bildad_o therefore_o say_v it_o shall_v happen_v after_o that_o manner_n to_o the_o wicked_a true_a it_o be_v that_o all_o of_o we_o be_v mortal_a and_o that_o god_n have_v put_v we_o into_o this_o world_n with_o condition_n to_o take_v we_o hence_o again_o sure_o we_o can_v come_v to_o the_o heavenly_a life_n except_o the_o corruptible_a that_o be_v in_o we_o be_v first_o put_v away_o as_o s._n paul_n speak_v what_o must_v be_v do_v then_o let_v every_o man_n dispose_v himself_o to_o die_v assure_v ourselves_o that_o god_n do_v we_o a_o inestimable_a grace_n in_o voutchsafe_v to_o deliver_v we_o from_o corruption_n by_o the_o mean_n of_o death_n &_o that_o although_o this_o transitory_a lodging_n of_o our_o body_n be_v destroy_v yet_o will_v he_o rear_v up_o a_o new_a buyldingin_n we_o which_o shall_v be_v much_o more_o excellent_a in_o asmuch_o as_o we_o shall_v be_v clothe_v with_o glory_n &_o immortality_n but_o on_o the_o contrary_a part_n let_v we_o assure_v ourselves_o that_o our_o lord_n will_v send_v the_o firstborn_a of_o death_n upon_o the_o wicked_a so_o as_o their_o death_n must_v be_v full_a of_o terror_n without_o any_o comfort_n &_o unasswage_v of_o the_o misery_n that_o be_v in_o it_o and_o here_o you_o see_v that_o the_o thing_n wherein_o we_o differ_v from_o the_o unbeliever_n be_v that_o although_o both_o of_o we_o must_v be_v fain_o to_o pass_v through_o death_n together_o and_o that_o the_o same_o be_v common_a to_o all_o man_n without_o exception_n yet_o notwithstanding_o god_n reach_v we_o his_o hand_n when_o we_o come_v to_o the_o point_n of_o death_n so_o as_o we_o go_v to_o he_o with_o a_o quiet_a mind_n &_o be_v able_a to_o commend_v our_o soul_n unto_o he_o with_o a_o true_a and_o rightordered_a trust_n that_o he_o may_v receive_v they_o as_o a_o good_a and_o faithful_a keeper_n but_o as_o for_o the_o wicked_a they_o must_v be_v fain_o too_o go_v hence_o with_o great_a violence_n and_o to_o be_v trouble_v and_o dismay_v and_o too_o strive_v with_o god_n and_o to_o storm_n and_o to_o have_v nothing_o that_o may_v comfort_v they_o nevertheless_o let_v we_o bethink_v we_o of_o that_o which_o have_v be_v say_v namely_o that_o this_o thing_n shall_v not_o be_v always_o apparent_a for_o sometime_o god_n send_v a_o violent_a death_n too_o his_o child_n but_o although_o their_o body_n be_v pain_v yet_o be_v not_o their_o soul_n therefore_o in_o the_o worse_a case_n and_o this_o be_v it_o wherein_o baldad_n be_v deceive_v according_a as_o we_o have_v always_o too_o bear_v in_o mind_n that_o we_o must_v not_o judge_v by_o eyesight_n but_o for_o asmuch_o as_o god_n judgement_n be_v hide_v from_o we_o and_o we_o know_v not_o how_o god_n execute_v they_o we_o must_v not_o use_v our_o own_o wit_n and_o imagination_n in_o that_o behalf_n howbeit_o if_o god_n execute_v his_o judgement_n after_o a_o visible_a manner_n let_v we_o mark_v they_o that_o we_o may_v take_v good_a by_o they_o if_o we_o see_v they_o not_o well_o let_v we_o understand_v that_o he_o have_v reserve_v the_o utterance_n of_o they_o till_o the_o last_o day_n for_o the_o trial_n of_o our_o faith_n but_o yet_o in_o the_o mean_a while_o we_o must_v be_v full_o resolve_v that_o although_o death_n be_v common_a too_o all_o man_n yet_o be_v the_o faithful_a so_o comfort_v and_o strengthen_v by_o god_n goodness_n as_o they_o come_v willing_o unto_o he_o know_v that_o he_o will_v receive_v they_o according_a also_o as_o they_o be_v sure_a that_o he_o will_v keep_v their_o soul_n well_o and_o safe_o unto_o the_o latter_a day_n in_o so_o much_o that_o they_o can_v perish_v because_o he_o have_v commit_v they_o into_o the_o hand_n of_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n and_o he_o have_v take_v they_o into_o his_o protection_n the_o faithful_a therefore_o will_v go_v willing_o unto_o death_n contrariwise_o there_o light_v a_o exquisite_a and_o dreadful_a death_n upon_o the_o wicked_a because_o that_o first_o they_o know_v not_o whither_o they_o go_v and_o second_o god_n justice_n pursue_v they_o in_o such_o wise_a as_o they_o can_v conceive_v nothing_o but_o fear_n and_o dismaidness_n when_o we_o hear_v that_o the_o say_a dwell_v in_o palace_n while_o in_o the_o mean_a season_n the_o poor_a faithful_a one_o shall_v scarce_o have_v a_o little_a cottage_n too_o retire_v unto_o thus_o the_o despiser_n of_o god_n which_o be_v give_v too_o all_o naughtiness_n shall_v dwell_v in_o this_o world_n as_o though_o the_o lordship_n thereof_o belong_v too_o none_o but_o they_o they_o shall_v have_v wide_a and_o large_a house_n they_o shall_v have_v goodly_a long_a walk_n and_o therewithal_o their_o trust_n shall_v be_v in_o their_o pleasure_n that_o be_v to_o say_v they_o shall_v think_v themselves_o
we_o and_o let_v we_o know_v that_o to_o obey_v he_o and_o to_o submit_v ourselves_o unto_o he_o in_o all_o thing_n be_v our_o true_a wisdom_n and_o when_o thing_n come_v not_o to_o pass_v as_o we_o will_v wish_v so_o that_o we_o be_v casy_o stir_v up_o to_o enter_v into_o some_o disputation_n let_v we_o stay_v ourselves_o and_o say_v yea_o but_o god_n have_v such_o a_o perfection_n in_o he_o that_o there_o can_v nothing_o proceed_v from_o he_o but_o it_o be_v good_a and_o righteous_a and_o his_o will_n only_o ought_v to_o suffice_v we_o for_o it_o be_v the_o rule_n of_o all_o well_o do_v which_o we_o have_v to_o learn_v out_o of_o this_o place_n now_o to_o show_v the_o greatness_n of_o this_o temptation_n it_o be_v say_v afterward_o that_o both_o of_o they_o be_v coner_v in_o the_o dust_n and_o that_o the_o worm_n eat_v they_o in_o deed_n when_o we_o see_v that_o a_o like_a end_n happen_v to_o they_o bonth_n although_o we_o have_v be_v diverse_o deal_v withal_o in_o this_o world_n â–ª_o it_o may_v seem_v that_o god_n play_v no_o more_o the_o judge_n but_o our_o say_v must_v surmount_v the_o grave_n and_o what_o so_o ever_o we_o can_v behold_v with_o the_o eye_n and_o this_o be_v it_o that_o be_v oftentimes_o teach_v we_o that_o faith_n be_v a_o sight_n and_o behold_v of_o thing_n invisible_a we_o shall_v see_v some_o good_a man_n that_o shall_v have_v serve_v god_n all_o the_o day_n of_o his_o life_n and_o shall_v have_v walk_v very_o upright_o and_o sincere_o and_o nevertheless_o he_o shall_v be_v in_o continual_a grief_n and_o pain_n and_o god_n shall_v not_o cease_v too_o send_v he_o may_o torment_n even_o too_o the_o death_n to_o the_o which_o also_o he_o must_v go_v pine_v on_o a_o long_a time_n and_o other_o that_o shall_v run_v headlong_o too_o all_o evil_a shall_v die_v at_o their_o ease_n as_o i_o have_v say_v this_o in_o the_o consusion_n of_o thing_n and_o what_o be_v the_o end_n of_o it_o they_o come_v to_o the_o grave_n be_v they_o in_o the_o dust_n they_o consume_v away_o there_o the_o worm_n eat_v they_o it_o seem_v that_o he_o that_o take_v pain_n to_o serve_v god_n have_v lose_v his_o labour_n and_o why_o behold_v they_o be_v all_o gather_v into_o one_o heap_n the_o good_a and_o the_o bad_a as_o well_o those_o that_o have_v live_v here_o in_o great_a mirth_n and_o pleasure_n as_o they_o that_o have_v sound_v nothing_o but_o sorrow_n and_o travel_n in_o this_o world_n what_o shall_v we_o say_v to_o this_o it_o be_v certain_a that_o we_o shall_v be_v amaze_v if_o we_o stay_v ourselves_o upon_o that_o which_o may_v be_v see_v with_o the_o eye_n what_o be_v to_o be_v do_v then_o we_o mustascend_v high_o and_o know_v that_o god_n reserve_v unto_o himself_o a_o judgement_n that_o appear_v not_o present_o yea_o true_o for_o faith_n behold_v thing_n invisible_a and_o thing_n that_o be_v hide_v let_v we_o know_v then_o that_o although_o in_o death_n all_o be_v like_a yet_o there_o be_v a_o far_o diverse_a condition_n and_o when_o shall_v that_o be_v our_o god_n shall_v declare_v it_o in_o time_n convenient_a but_o in_o the_o mean_a season_n it_o be_v our_o duty_n to_o walk_v always_o in_o his_o fear_n and_o to_o conclude_v that_o see_v he_o be_v judge_v of_o the_o world_n iniquity_n shall_v not_o remain_v unpunished_a and_o they_o that_o have_v take_v pain_n to_o obey_v he_o and_o to_o walk_v according_a to_o his_o righteousness_n shall_v not_o have_v labour_v in_o vain_a nor_o be_v disappoint_v of_o their_o expectation_n thus_o must_v we_o conclude_v and_o go_v still_o forward_o and_o turn_v it_o to_o a_o lie_n yet_o god_n hold_v he_o as_o it_o be_v in_o a_o rack_n that_o he_o be_v force_v to_o say_v that_o the_o death_n of_o the_o righteous_a be_v to_o be_v wish_v let_v my_o death_n say_v he_o be_v like_a unto_o the_o death_n of_o the_o righteous_a he_o say_v not_o this_o of_o his_o own_o head_n for_o he_o will_v as_o much_o as_o lay_v in_o he_o have_v bring_v too_o naught_o atd_v utter_o abolish_v the_o majesty_n of_o god_n but_o yet_o see_v god_n make_v he_o speak_v thus_o it_o be_v more_o than_o if_o he_o have_v send_v all_o the_o angel_n of_o heaven_n god_n ease_n and_o those_o that_o have_v always_o be_v in_o sorrow_n and_o pain_n it_o be_v true_a that_o in_o death_n all_o thing_n be_v turn_v upsidedown_o â–ª_o but_o god_n know_v how_o to_o bring_v all_o thing_n into_o a_o order_n and_o perfect_a state_n as_o it_o be_v say_v that_o at_o the_o come_n of_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n when_o he_o shall_v appear_v to_o judge_v the_o world_n then_o shall_v be_v the_o restore_n of_o all_o thing_n if_o it_o be_v so_o then_o that_o jesus_n christ_n shall_v come_v to_o restore_v the_o world_n it_o follow_v that_o the_o world_n at_o this_o day_n be_v out_o of_o frame_n and_o thing_n therein_o be_v out_o of_o order_n but_o in_o the_o mean_a season_n let_v our_o faith_n surmount_v all_o these_o thing_n here_o and_o let_v we_o patient_o abide_v till_o god_n finish_v his_o work_n and_o find_v a_o remedy_n for_o all_o now_o job_n add_v furthermore_o that_o the_o thought_n of_o they_o that_o go_v about_o to_o confound_v he_o be_v not_o unknown_a unto_o he_o nor_o the_o way_n that_o they_o use_v to_o do_v he_o wrong_n as_o if_o he_o shall_v say_v i_o see_v whereto_o yetend_v for_o you_o be_v as_o it_o be_v suborn_v of_o satan_n to_o know_v the_o temptation_n that_o may_v happen_v unto_o they_o it_o be_v true_a that_o we_o must_v not_o be_v herein_o to_o hasty_a so_o that_o when_o we_o hear_v any_o mention_n make_v of_o the_o have_v yet_o to_o remain_v unknown_a of_o we_o let_v we_o then_o leave_v the_o judgement_n to_o he_o until_o he_o reveal_v it_o unto_o we_o and_o let_v we_o know_v perfect_o that_o he_o do_v such_o thing_n as_o we_o can_v present_o comprehend_v this_o be_v the_o cause_n why_o job_n show_v here_o that_o all_o go_v to_o the_o grave_n and_o that_o all_o be_v bring_v thither_o and_o it_o be_v to_o the_o end_n that_o we_o shall_v gather_v thus_o well_o it_o be_v true_a that_o in_o death_n all_o be_v like_a we_o put_v no_o difference_n between_o the_o godly_a and_o the_o wicked_a and_o as_o solomon_n say_v in_o his_o book_n of_o the_o preacher_n a_o live_a dog_n be_v better_a than_o a_o dead_a lion_n and_o the_o death_n of_o a_o man_n be_v like_o the_o death_n of_o a_o dog_n inasmuch_o as_o the_o body_n of_o a_o man_n shall_v rot_v as_o well_o as_o the_o carcase_n of_o a_o beast_n we_o see_v all_o these_o thing_n but_o yet_o we_o must_v not_o stay_v there_o let_v we_o then_o behold_v that_o which_o be_v show_v we_o in_o the_o mirror_n of_o god_n word_n that_o be_v to_o wit_n that_o there_o be_v a_o great_a judgement_n which_o god_n reserve_v and_o will_v execute_v when_o and_o that_o the_o evil_n which_o i_o have_v commit_v may_v be_v as_o it_o be_v darken_v and_o wrap_v up_o the_o common_a practice_n therefore_o that_o we_o use_v one_o with_o another_o be_v that_o suffer_v themselves_o to_o be_v raze_v and_o quicken_v god_n offer_v we_o this_o benefit_n when_o he_o will_v his_o word_n to_o be_v preach_v &_o publish_v to_o all_o man_n thus_o you_o see_v then_o that_o life_n be_v offer_v we_o and_o we_o forsake_v it_o that_o be_v to_o say_v the_o great_a multitude_n shrink_v away_o from_o it_o and_o thrust_v away_o the_o benefit_n which_o they_o may_v some_o outrageous_o set_v themselves_o against_o it_o so_o as_o they_o show_v full_a well_o that_o there_o be_v nothing_o in_o they_o but_o wickedness_n against_o god_n thereby_o it_o be_v see_v how_o then_o our_o lord_n have_v need_v to_o make_v his_o word_n available_a by_o the_o work_n of_o his_o holy_a spirit_n and_o too_o quicken_v it_o before_o it_o enter_v into_o we_o that_o it_o may_v take_v root_n there_o and_o be_v unto_o we_o incorruptible_a seed_n of_o life_n you_o see_v then_o that_o god_n must_v be_v fain_o to_o work_v by_o his_o secret_a power_n ere_o his_o doctrine_n can_v christian_a church_n like_v as_o the_o unhappy_a heretic_n that_o be_v punish_v here_o have_v a_o conceit_n to_o say_v that_o man_n soul_n be_v partaker_n of_o the_o substance_n of_o the_o godhead_n but_o that_o be_v a_o thing_n so_o horrible_a and_o against_o nature_n as_o a_o man_n must_v needs_o be_v utter_o grow_v out_o of_o kind_n ere_o he_o can_v come_v to_o it_o so_o then_o let_v we_o mark_v that_o the_o speak_n of_o god_n spirit_n here_o import_v not_o that_o the_o substance_n of_o he_o be_v in_o we_o but_o it_o be_v mean_v of_o his_o breathe_n that_o be_v to_o say_v of_o that_o which_o he_o inspire_v into_o we_o by_o his_o power_n according_a as_o we_o see_v how_o the_o sun_n abide_v in_o the_o sky_n and_o yet_o the_o brightness_n of_o his_o beam_n do_v in_o such_o wise_a come_v to_o we_o as_o we_o enjoy_v his_o light_n and_o heat_n but_o be_v that_o as_o much_o too_o say_v therefore_o that_o we_o hold_v the_o sun_n here_o beneath_o and_o in_o good_a sooth_n when_o as_o we_o see_v that_o the_o sun_n by_o his_o power_n which_o he_o shed_v down_o hither_o cheer_v the_o earth_n in_o such_o wise_a as_o it_o bear_v fruit_n and_o yield_v sustenance_n too_o the_o of_o be_v in_o all_o unbeliever_n yet_o notwithstanding_o god_n have_v diverse_a time_n enforce_v the_o very_a paynim_n to_o utter_v such_o word_n as_o declare_v we_o to_o be_v unexcusable_a if_o we_o shun_v death_n in_o that_o wise_a and_o be_v to_o much_o wed_v to_o this_o present_a life_n and_o like_a as_o a_o judge_n will_v enforce_v a_o offender_n to_o confess_v what_o he_o will_v have_v he_o it_o please_v he_o too_o dispose_v of_o we_o so_o as_o if_o he_o listen_v to_o take_v we_o hence_o we_o ought_v to_o acknowledge_v that_o our_o life_n must_v be_v subject_n to_o his_o will._n another_o heathen_a man_n say_v behold_v i_o be_o in_o this_o world_n as_o if_o i_o be_v set_v to_o be_v a_o watchman_n in_o a_o castle_n or_o as_o if_o it_o be_v say_v to_o a_o soldier_n come_v hither_o go_v thither_o so_o have_v god_n set_v we_o here_o in_o this_o world_n with_o condition_n to_o call_v we_o hence_o when_o he_o list_v the_o heathen_a man_n that_o have_v speak_v after_o that_o sort_n be_v too_o sufficient_a witness_n to_o condemn_v all_o such_o as_o will_v reply_v to_o set_v any_o colour_n upon_o their_o lewd_a affection_n in_o that_o case_n and_o to_o excuse_v they_o and_o furthermore_o as_o i_o have_v say_v already_o let_v we_o mark_v that_o those_o heathenman_n speak_v not_o so_o but_o by_o constraint_n of_o god_n which_o thing_n be_v do_v to_o the_o end_n that_o we_o shall_v have_v our_o condemnation_n write_v and_o pronounce_v by_o they_o if_o we_o agree_v not_o to_o his_o will_n but_o now_o what_o be_v to_o be_v do_v if_o we_o will_v dispose_v ourselves_o to_o die_v willing_o and_o go_v too_o rest_v ourselves_o in_o god_n let_v we_o learn_v to_o know_v the_o vice_n that_o hinder_v we_o and_o the_o remedy_n to_o redress_v they_o then_o ass_n so_o then_o let_v we_o learn_v wherefore_o god_n have_v set_v we_o in_o this_o â–ª_o world_n and_o to_o what_o purpose_n we_o live_v here_o that_o be_v to_o wit_n to_o the_o end_n we_o shall_v know_v that_o we_o be_v set_v here_o but_o as_o in_o a_o journey_n and_o that_o we_o be_v lodge_v and_o sustain_v here_o on_o earth_n at_o god_n cost_n and_o that_o therefore_o we_o must_v hang_v whole_o upon_o his_o grace_n feel_v he_o to_o be_v our_o saviour_n and_o father_n according_a as_o he_o show_v himself_o towards_o we_o by_o his_o do_n when_o we_o be_v give_v to_o serve_v he_o thus_o than_o you_o see_v the_o second_o point_n that_o we_o have_v to_o bear_v in_o mind_n if_o we_o purpose_v too_o die_v willing_o and_o not_o to_o be_v pluck_v hence_o by_o violente_fw-la force_n of_o it_o be_v before_o man_n sin_v so_o then_o we_o can_v but_o shun_v death_n even_o because_o it_o be_v contrary_a too_o our_o flesh_n and_o the_o terror_n thereof_o dismay_v we_o by_o reason_n of_o the_o knowledge_n that_o god_n have_v give_v we_o and_o therefore_o saint_n paul_n in_o the_o forealleadge_v chapter_n say_v that_o we_o desire_v death_n not_o in_o respect_n of_o itself_o but_o because_o we_o know_v that_o as_o yet_o we_o be_v but_o as_o it_o be_v in_o transitory_a dwelling-place_n what_o be_v our_o body_n it_o be_v so_o corruptible_a a_o thing_n that_o the_o leaf_n of_o a_o tree_n be_v not_o so_o soon_o rot_v as_o we_o be_v but_o we_o know_v that_o there_o be_v a_o house_n prepare_v for_o we_o and_o that_o when_o we_o be_v restore_v to_o the_o heavenly_a glory_n we_o as_o in_o a_o little_a shed_v under_o leaf_n that_o be_v soon_o rot_v but_o in_o a_o everlasting_a house_n that_o be_v full_a of_o glory_n see_v then_o that_o we_o know_v that_o god_n call_v we_o to_o so_o happy_a a_o life_n and_o give_v we_o assurance_n of_o it_o in_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n we_o need_v not_o to_o shun_v death_n sith_o that_o thereby_o we_o enter_v into_o the_o full_a possession_n of_o our_o salvation_n to_o be_v short_a we_o come_v not_o to_o death_n as_o the_o unbeliever_n do_v the_o unbeliever_n say_v i_o know_v not_o whither_o i_o go_v if_o they_o have_v any_o opinion_n of_o the_o immortality_n of_o their_o soul_n either_o they_o must_v needs_o be_v dismay_v at_o it_o when_o they_o know_v that_o god_n shall_v be_v their_o judge_n or_o else_o they_o shall_v be_v sot_v in_o such_o wise_a as_o they_o shall_v think_v there_o be_v no_o better_a life_n than_o this_o but_o for_o our_o part_n it_o behove_v we_o to_o know_v that_o god_n have_v create_v we_o after_o his_o own_o image_n and_o likeness_n to_o the_o intent_n to_o gather_v we_o up_o to_o himself_o and_o that_o we_o shall_v be_v sure_a that_o he_o will_v do_v it_o if_o we_o refer_v ourselves_o whole_o unto_o he_o follow_v the_o example_n that_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n show_v we_o father_n say_v â—ee_n unto_o thou_o do_v i_o commend_v my_o spirit_n then_o let_v we_o learn_v too_o say_v as_o they_o misuse_v they_o not_o nor_o execute_v any_o tyranny_n over_o they_o for_o they_o shall_v be_v much_o less_o excusable_a than_o be_v the_o master_n that_o deal_v cruel_o with_o their_o servant_n and_o much_o less_o liberty_n have_v they_o which_o be_v call_v to_o the_o state_n of_o justice_n and_o set_v as_o god_n officer_n to_o yield_v every_o man_n his_o right_n if_o such_o measure_n and_o reason_n now_o this_o may_v be_v extend_v further_a for_o when_o we_o see_v war_n move_v it_o seem_v that_o all_o thing_n both_o high_a and_o low_o shall_v be_v mingle_v together_o and_o by_o and_o by_o we_o will_v condemn_v god_n if_o it_o lay_v in_o our_o power_n or_o else_o we_o fall_v to_o jangle_v against_o he_o for_o suffer_v all_o thing_n too_o go_v after_o that_o manner_n but_o if_o we_o tarry_v the_o end_n of_o they_o patient_o we_o shall_v perceive_v that_o on_o the_o one_o side_n god_n chastize_v man_n just_o by_o stir_v up_o war_n among_o they_o and_o on_o trouble_n shall_v happen_v than_o if_o we_o shall_v always_o live_v in_o peace_n and_o rest_n and_o therefore_o if_o we_o consider_v well_o the_o cause_n which_o move_v god_n to_o send_v such_o trouble_n into_o the_o world_n we_o will_v no_o more_o murmur_n against_o he_o and_o although_o we_o conceive_v they_o not_o yet_o let_v we_o not_o therefore_o cease_v to_o honour_v reverent_o the_o secret_a determination_n which_o god_n keep_v to_o himself_o but_o let_v ustary_n his_o leisure_n patient_o acknowledge_v our_o own_o small_a capacity_n &_o rudeness_n and_o then_o shall_v we_o
